## Pricing

from $1.30 / 1,000 products

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Delhaize Scraper | Belgian Grocery Prices & Products

Scrape **Delhaize Belgium's** online grocery catalogue: one row per product with name, brand,
**price**, **price per kg, litre or piece**, pack size, **promotions** (and whether they need the
Delhaize loyalty card), stock, Nutri-Score and image, as clean JSON. Take the whole catalogue, chosen
categories, search terms, or only what is on promotion.

### What you get

- The whole online catalogue, about **14,600 products**, or any part of it.
- Per product: name, brand and sub-brand, pack size, **price**, **loyalty card price**, **was-price**,
  unit price and unit (kg, l, piece), every current promotion (title such as "3 pour €5", type,
  member-only or not, start and end date), stock and the date an out-of-stock product is expected
  back, Nutri-Score, top category, Delhaize own brand, organic, frozen and online-exclusive flags,
  image and product page.
- Prices are told apart the way a shopper meets them: `price` is what anyone pays today, including a
  discount open to everyone, with the old price in `wasPrice`. `memberPrice` is the lower price with
  a Delhaize card. Deals that need several items ("2+1 gratis") do not change the price of one
  item, so they stay in `promotions`.
- The per-unit price is the one on the shelf label (e.g. 10.83 per kg for a 230 g pack), not the
  pack price repeated.
- Completeness is checked: every category or search is compared with the total Delhaize itself
  reports, and the run log shows both.

### Choosing what to scrape

- **Everything:** leave Categories and Search terms empty and set `maxItems` to a high number such
  as `100000`. A run stops at 100 products otherwise.
- **Categories:** a code such as `v2FRU` (fresh fruit and vegetables) or any category page URL from
  delhaize.be, e.g. `https://www.delhaize.be/fr/shop/Fruits-et-legumes-frais/c/v2FRU`. Subcategory
  URLs work too.
- **Search terms:** what you would type in the site's search box, e.g. `chocolat` or `koffie`.
- **Promotions only:** tick it to keep only products with a current promotion, within whatever you
  chose above.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|-------|--------------|
| `categories` | Category codes or category page URLs. Empty, with no search terms, means the whole catalogue. |
| `searchTerms` | Only products the site's search finds for these terms. |
| `promotionsOnly` | Only products with a current promotion. |
| `maxItems` | Products per category or search term. Default 100; enter a higher number such as `100000` for everything. |
| `language` | `fr` or `nl` for product and category names. |

### Example output

A real row (2026-10-29):

```json
{
  "chain": "delhaize",
  "productId": "F2022080200104510000",
  "name": "Concombre | Snack",
  "brand": "Delhaize",
  "packSize": "230 gr",
  "price": 2.49,
  "memberPrice": null,
  "currency": "EUR",
  "unitPrice": 10.83,
  "unitOfMeasure": "kg",
  "wasPrice": null,
  "inPromo": true,
  "promotions": [
    { "title": "3 pour €5", "type": "Grocery Multi-buy", "memberOnly": true, "startDate": "2026-01-01", "endDate": "2026-12-31" }
  ],
  "inStock": true,
  "nutriScore": "A",
  "category": "Fruits et légumes frais",
  "categoryCode": "v2FRU",
  "isOwnBrand": true,
  "isBio": false,
  "image": "https://www.delhaize.be/medias/sys_master/products/hde/h32/13714732974110.jpg",
  "query": "category:v2FRU",
  "language": "fr",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-29T23:21:54.486Z"
}
```

### Pricing

Pay per result: **$1.70 per 1,000 products**. The whole catalogue (about 14,600 products) costs
about $25. Set a maximum cost per run and the scraper stops there, without reading pages it cannot
bill.

### Notes

- Prices are Delhaize's online prices with no store selected.
- Every row carries Delhaize's own product id, so you can track a product across runs.
- Most Delhaize promotions are for loyalty-card holders; `memberOnly` says which.
- Stock is Delhaize's online stock with no store selected, so `inStock` can differ from a given shop.
- If Delhaize cannot return a single record, that one record is skipped and the run log says how
  many; a run that gets no products at all fails instead of returning an empty dataset.
- Not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Delhaize. Delhaize is a trademark of its owner.

# Actor input Schema

## `categories` (type: `array`):

Category codes (e.g. v2FRU for fresh fruit and vegetables) or category page URLs from delhaize.be. Leave empty, with no search terms, for the whole catalogue (about 14,600 products).

## `searchTerms` (type: `array`):

Only products the site's own search finds for these terms (e.g. chocolat, koffie).

## `promotionsOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Only products with a current promotion, within the chosen categories, search terms or the whole catalogue.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many products for each category or search term, or in total for the whole catalogue. Default 100, so a first run is quick and cheap. For everything, enter a higher number such as 100000 (about 14,600 in the whole catalogue).

## `language` (type: `string`):

Language of product and category names.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "categories": [
    "v2FRU"
  ],
  "promotionsOnly": false,
  "maxItems": 100,
  "language": "fr"
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `products` (type: `string`):

One row per product: name, brand, price, unit price, pack size, promotions and stock.
