## Pricing

from $2.10 / 1,000 event founds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Event Discovery Feed

**One clean feed of public B2B events — deduped, change-tracked, ICP-ranked.**

Pulls from **Luma, Meetup, conference pages, iCal, confs.tech, and dev.events**. Every row is a full event: dates, venue, ticket, organizers, plus public speakers / sponsors / exhibitors when listed.

Built for event GTM, field marketing, ABM, sponsorship sales, DevRel, VC platform, and community teams.

**Pay-per-event only** (no rental). Example: 200 found + 100 enriched + 200 LLM-scored ≈ **$1.40** (+ actor start).

### Who it's for

| Who | What they run |
| --------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| Event GTM / field marketing | City + keyword feed for this quarter’s rooms |
| Sponsorship sellers | Speaker / sponsor / exhibitor lists for outreach |
| DevRel & community | Meetup + conference watch with `onlyChanges` |
| ABM / sales | Events near target accounts, ICP-scored |
| Organizer research | Multi-source calendar → one deduped row |

### What you get

| Capability | Detail |
| --------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Multi-source | Luma, Meetup, conference URLs, iCal, confs.tech, dev.events |
| Full row | Never a link-only stub — venue, ticket, organizers always when public |
| Lead-gen fields | Public organizer website / socials, plus guest count and capacity |
| Dedupe | Same event across sources → one row + `alsoSeenOn` |
| Change tracking | `isNew` / `changeType` vs a saved `stateKey` |
| ICP filter | Optional `relevanceScore` + `minRelevanceScore` cutoff |
| Enrichment | Public speakers / sponsors / exhibitors (capped per run) |

Public logged-out pages only. No login, no CAPTCHA bypass, no attendee lists.

Empty `speakers` / `sponsors` / `exhibitors` means the public page did not list them — Meetup and many Luma pages often have none. The actor never invents names.

Organizer `website`, `instagram`, `twitter`, `linkedin`, `tiktok`, and `youtube` are set only when that page already publishes the link. Missing handles are omitted. `guestCount`, `ticketsSold`, `capacity`, and `isNearCapacity` are the same: public numbers only, never an RSVP list. Luma includes them on the listing. Meetup group socials are read during enrichment, on the existing `event-enriched` charge.

### Change tracking

State lives in KV store `event-discovery-state` under your `stateKey`.

`changeType`: `new` · `updated` · `date_changed` · `venue_changed` · `cancelled` · `unchanged`.

**Schedule tip:** daily/weekly Apify Schedule with `onlyChanges: true` + fixed `stateKey` + webhook to Slack/CRM.

### Pricing (PPE)

| Event | Price | When |
| ------------------------ | ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| `event-found` | $0.003 | Each event pushed |
| `event-enriched` | $0.004 | Speaker/sponsor/exhibitor detail fetch succeeded |
| `event-relevance-scored` | $0.002 | LLM score written |
| `change-detected` | $0.002 | New/changed row while `onlyChanges` is on |
| `apify-actor-start` | platform default | Actor start |

**Worked example:** 200 found + 100 enriched + 200 LLM scores = **$1.40** (+ start). Later `onlyChanges` run with 30 changes ≈ **$0.15** before optional enrich/score.

ICP without `LLM_API_KEY`: lexical overlap score only (no `event-relevance-scored` charge). With key: model score via `LLM_MODEL` / `LLM_BASE_URL`.

### Limitations

- Public logged-out pages only — no private calendars, RSVPs, or checkout walls
- City discover pages return one public page per URL; pin calendars/groups for a series
- LinkedIn is not fetched. A LinkedIn URL is kept only when the event page already publishes it on the organizer
- Default run memory is 1024 MB
- Eventbrite / AllEvents / 10times adapters are registered but disabled
- Lexical ICP ≠ model judgment unless you set an API key

### FAQ

**Why is a known event missing?** Outside the date window, failed keyword/city filter, under `minRelevanceScore`, or over `maxEvents`.

**Can I run only iCal?** `sources` is required — pick any source and set `icsFeeds`; feeds always run when set.

**Does it scrape LinkedIn?** No. It does not open LinkedIn. If Luma or Meetup already prints an organizer LinkedIn URL, that URL is copied onto the organizer.

**How is this different from a Luma-only or Eventbrite-only scraper?** Those return one site. This merges Luma, Meetup, conference pages, iCal, confs.tech, and dev.events, dedupes, scores to your ICP, and tracks new/changed rows on a schedule.

### Legal

Collects only publicly available, logged-out event information. Does not bypass logins, CAPTCHAs, or paywalls, and does not collect attendee lists. Speaker, organizer, sponsor, and exhibitor names are those publicly listed by organizers. Users are responsible for complying with each source’s Terms and applicable data protection law (GDPR/DPDP) when using personal data. Not affiliated with Luma, Meetup, or any listed site.

# Actor input Schema

## `sources` (type: `array`):

Which source adapters to run. iCal feeds run whenever iCal feed URLs are set, even if this list omits them.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Topics to search for, e.g. AI, SaaS, fintech. An event is kept when its public name, description, or topics match at least one keyword. Leave empty to skip the keyword filter.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

City or country names, e.g. Bengaluru, London, United States. Leave empty for global results. Online events are kept when Include online events is on.

## `includeOnline` (type: `boolean`):

Include virtual events. When cities are set, online events are still kept if this is on. Hybrid and in-person events must match a city or country.

## `startDateFrom` (type: `string`):

Earliest event start (YYYY-MM-DD). Default: today (UTC).

## `startDateTo` (type: `string`):

Latest event start (YYYY-MM-DD). Default: 90 days from today (UTC).

## `lumaCalendarUrls` (type: `array`):

Optional public lu.ma or luma.com calendar or event URLs to always include.

## `meetupGroupUrls` (type: `array`):

Optional public Meetup group URLs to track. The actor reads the public events listing and does not open attendee lists.

## `conferenceUrls` (type: `array`):

Public conference or calendar pages (JSON-LD, iCal, or HTML listings). A row may be a URL, or a JSON object string with url, listSelector, nameSelector, dateSelector, and optional linkSelector.

## `industrySites` (type: `array`):

Built-in industry listing adapters to run. confs.tech and dev.events are enabled. Eventbrite, AllEvents, and 10times stay disabled until their Terms allow them.

## `icsFeeds` (type: `array`):

Public .ics feed URLs. Each feed is fetched with a plain GET and parsed as iCalendar.

## `extractSpeakers` (type: `boolean`):

Open each event detail page and linked public /speakers, /sponsors, and /exhibitors pages, then fill those arrays. Charges event-enriched when the detail fetch succeeds. Turn off for listing-only runs.

## `enrichMaxPerRun` (type: `integer`):

Cap how many events get speaker, sponsor, and exhibitor enrichment this run. 0 enriches none.

## `relevanceProfile` (type: `string`):

Describe your ICP or product. Each event gets a 0-100 relevanceScore and a short reason. When LLM_API_KEY is set, scoring uses that model and charges event-relevance-scored. Otherwise a lexical overlap score is used and that event is not charged.

## `minRelevanceScore` (type: `integer`):

Drop events below this score when ICP description is set. 0 keeps every scored event. Typical range: 60-75.

## `sortByRelevance` (type: `boolean`):

Push the highest relevanceScore first when ICP description is set.

## `onlyChanges` (type: `boolean`):

Output only events that are new or changed since the last run with the same state key. Changed rows also charge change-detected.

## `stateKey` (type: `string`):

Key inside the named key-value store event-discovery-state. Use one stable key per schedule so change tracking compares the same feed.

## `maxEvents` (type: `integer`):

Hard cap on events written to the dataset. Also caps event-found charges.

## `maxRequestsPerDomainPerMinute` (type: `integer`):

Politeness throttle per domain. Source adapters may use a lower cap than this.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Apify proxy settings. Residential or datacenter proxy is on by default. If the proxy cannot be started, the run continues with a direct connection and a warning.
