## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## India Jobs Feed: fresh jobs from 44 companies hiring in India

![India Jobs Feed](https://api.apify.com/v2/key-value-stores/oVyHagRECuIrMkC2H/records/india-banner)

Get India job postings from **Paytm, Meesho, CRED, Groww, Sarvam AI, InMobi, Zeta, Stripe, Databricks, Okta, MongoDB, Zscaler** and 30+ more companies, straight from each company's **official public job-board API**. Every job comes with a clean **city and state**, parsed **years of experience**, **salary in LPA** when the posting publishes it, and a seniority level.

**Try it free:** Apify's free plan gives $5/month of usage, no card needed. That's about 3,300 India jobs a month at $1.50 per 1,000.

**Price: $1.50 per 1,000 India jobs saved.** Filters run before billing, so you pay only for jobs that match.

A full run on 30 Oct 2026 returned **1,347 India jobs from all 44 companies in under 30 seconds**: Bengaluru 780, Noida 108, Mumbai 91, Gurugram 90, Hyderabad 68, Pune 43, Delhi 25 and more.

### What you can use it for

- **Job alerts for one city or role:** "backend engineers in Bengaluru with up to 5 years' experience", delivered to Telegram, Slack or email every morning.
- **India-focused job boards and newsletters:** a steady, deduplicated feed of postings from well-known employers.
- **Hiring signals:** see which teams are growing in India, and where.
- **Salary and experience research:** compare stated experience bands and published LPA ranges across companies.
- **AI agents and automations:** a predictable schema for n8n, Make, Zapier, LangChain or an MCP client.

### Features

- **Built-in company directory** in three groups: Indian startups and unicorns, global tech companies with India teams, and enterprises / global capability centres. Every company is verified to list India jobs.
- **Add any other company** on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable or Recruitee by pasting its board URL.
- **India-aware filters:** cities with old and new names (Bangalore = Bengaluru, Gurgaon = Gurugram), `NCR` for Delhi + Gurugram + Noida, work mode (on-site, hybrid, remote), your experience range, minimum LPA, title keywords, excluded keywords, departments and posted within N days.
- **Experience parsing:** "3-5 years", "5+ years", "minimum 4 years" and "freshers welcome" become `{ "min": 3, "max": 5 }`. When a posting lists an overall requirement and smaller skill-specific ones, the overall one is used.
- **Salary parsing:** "₹12-18 LPA", "12 to 18 lakhs", "INR 10,00,000 - 15,00,000", "₹30,000/month" become rupee amounts plus a `salaryLpa` range.
- **Monitor mode:** remembers job IDs between runs so scheduled runs return only new postings. A job held back by your limits is delivered on the next run.
- Multi-city postings are merged into one job with every city listed.
- Respects **Max jobs saved** and your run's maximum charge. One failing board never stops the run; each board's counts or error are in the `OUTPUT` record.

### FAQ

**Why these companies and not every Indian job site?** This actor reads only data that employers publish through their applicant-tracking system's public job-board API. Large job portals such as Naukri and foundit prohibit automated collection in their terms, so they are not used.

**How fresh is it?** Every run reads the live boards, so results match each careers page at run time.

**Why is `salaryLpa` empty on many jobs?** Most Indian postings do not publish pay. When a posting does, in the ATS or in the text, it is parsed.

**Can I combine it with my own list of companies?** Yes. Add boards under **Extra company boards**, or turn off the directory and use only your list.

### Data and compliance

The actor reads public job postings through endpoints that Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable and Recruitee publish for job boards and career sites. It does not log in, bypass access controls, use proxies or collect candidate data, and it spaces Lever requests to match Lever's published crawl delay. Recruiter mailbox addresses from Recruitee are never copied. SmartRecruiters boards run only when you turn on **SmartRecruiters boards you are authorised to read**, because SmartRecruiters' robots.txt asks automated clients to stay out of its API. You are responsible for using the data lawfully, including India's DPDP Act and GDPR where they apply.

### Support

Open an issue on the actor's Issues tab with your input and the run link. Issues are answered within one business day.

Built with AI agents for speed; every release is human-reviewed and covered by 25 unit tests and a 14-check end-to-end run against the live APIs.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose title contains any of these, e.g. engineer, product manager, data. Empty = all jobs.

## `searchDescription` (type: `boolean`):

## `skipExistingOnFirstRun` (type: `boolean`):

Turn on to start the monitor quietly and get only postings that appear after the first run.

0 = no limit.

## `maxJobs` (type: `integer`):

0 = no limit. Each saved job is one billable result.
