## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Company Jobs Scraper — Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee

Get **every open job from a company's own careers page** in one clean table: title, department, location, remote, **salary range**, posted date and apply link. Paste career page links (or just company names) and run. Works with the six job-board systems most startups and tech companies use:

**Greenhouse · Lever · Ashby · Workable · SmartRecruiters · Recruitee**

Data comes from each system's official public job-board feed, the same one the company's careers page uses. No login, no proxies, no blocking, fast.

**$1 per 1,000 jobs.**

### Why use it

- **Fresher than job sites.** Jobs appear on a company's own board first, often days before LinkedIn or Indeed, with the real apply link.
- **Salary data.** Structured pay ranges from Ashby, Greenhouse (pay transparency), Lever and Recruitee, plus ranges found in the description text (e.g. "$120,000 – $150,000").
- **Mix systems in one run.** One list of companies, any of the six systems, one schema.
- **Job alerts.** Turn on *Only jobs I haven't received before* and schedule it daily to get just new postings.

### Who uses it

- **Job seekers and job boards**: track target companies, build niche boards (remote, AI, fintech, climate)
- **Recruiters and staffing agencies**: see who is hiring what, the day they post it
- **Sales and GTM teams**: hiring is a buying signal ("hiring 3 data engineers" means a new data team)
- **Analysts and investors**: headcount plans by department and location over time
- **AI agents and automations**: Make, n8n, Zapier, Google Sheets, Slack

### Input

```json
{
  "companies": [
    "https://boards.greenhouse.io/stripe",
    "https://jobs.lever.co/palantir",
    "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp",
    "apply.workable.com/huggingface",
    "lever:netflix",
    "figma"
  ],
  "titleKeywords": ["engineer", "data"],
  "locations": ["New York", "Remote"],
  "remoteOnly": false,
  "requireSalary": false,
  "postedWithinDays": 0,
  "includeDescription": false
}
```

**Companies** accepts careers links from any of the six systems, `ats:slug` (for example `greenhouse:airbnb`, `smartrecruiters:BoschGroup`, `recruitee:bunq`), or a bare board name. A bare name is checked against every system automatically.

### Output (one row per job)

```json
{
  "company": "Ramp",
  "ats": "Ashby",
  "jobId": "34413f8d-26bf-4bbc-8ade-eb309a0e2245",
  "title": "Security Engineer, Cloud",
  "department": "Engineering",
  "team": "Backend",
  "location": "New York, NY (HQ)",
  "locations": ["New York, NY (HQ)", "Remote (Canada)", "Remote (US)"],
  "country": "USA",
  "remote": true,
  "workplaceType": "hybrid",
  "employmentType": "FullTime",
  "salaryMin": 211400,
  "salaryMax": 290600,
  "salaryCurrency": "USD",
  "salaryPeriod": "year",
  "salaryText": "$211.4K - $290.6K",
  "postedAt": "2026-04-07T17:12:35+00:00",
  "url": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/34413f8d-…",
  "applyUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/34413f8d-…/application",
  "firstSeen": "2026-10-23T02:10:00+00:00"
}
```

Turn on **Include full job description** to add the description as plain text. The run's key-value store also has a `SUMMARY` record listing each company, its system and how many jobs it has open, so you can spot boards that weren't found.

### Pricing

**$1 per 1,000 jobs returned** ($0.001 per job). Filters run before you're charged, so you pay only for jobs that match. Set a maximum cost per run and the Actor stops cleanly when it's reached.

### Tips

- Find a company's board: open its careers page and look at the job links. `boards.greenhouse.io/…`, `job-boards.greenhouse.io/…`, `jobs.lever.co/…`, `jobs.ashbyhq.com/…`, `apply.workable.com/…`, `jobs.smartrecruiters.com/…` or `*.recruitee.com` tell you the system and the name.
- SmartRecruiters names are case-sensitive (`BoschGroup`).
- For a daily alert, save a task with *Only jobs I haven't received before* on and a *Monitor name*, add a schedule, and connect email, Slack or Google Sheets.

### Notes

Reads only public job postings that companies publish for applicants. Not affiliated with Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters or Recruitee.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

One per line. Paste a careers page link (boards.greenhouse.io/stripe, jobs.lever.co/palantir, jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp, apply.workable.com/huggingface, careers.smartrecruiters.com/BoschGroup, bunq.recruitee.com), or write ats:slug (lever:netflix), or just the company's board name (figma) and the Actor checks every supported system.

## `titleKeywords` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose title contains one of these, e.g. engineer, sales, data, marketing manager. Case-insensitive. Empty = all jobs.

## `excludeTitleKeywords` (type: `array`):

Skip jobs whose title contains any of these, e.g. intern, senior, director.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

e.g. New York, London, United States, Remote. Matches the job's locations and country.

## `departments` (type: `array`):

e.g. Engineering, Sales, Finance.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs marked remote by the employer or with Remote in the location.

## `requireSalary` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs that publish a pay range (structured, or found in the description).

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

0 = any age. Uses the date the employer published the job.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Adds the description as plain text. Turn off for smaller, faster results.

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

0 = no limit.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

0 = no limit. You pay only for jobs returned.

## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):

Remember jobs from earlier runs (per monitor name) and return only new postings. Schedule it daily for a new-jobs alert feed.

## `monitorName` (type: `string`):

Separate memory per saved search, e.g. fintech-sales-roles.

## `concurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many company boards to read in parallel.
