## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Dot Property Philippines Properties and Details Scraper

This Actor is disabled for source requests by default. Dot Property Philippines links to LIFULL Connect Terms that prohibit extracting, compiling, or copying website content without express authorization. Do not enable collection unless you hold specific written authorization covering automated collection, storage, and the intended use. The `authorizationConfirmed` input is an operator attestation; it does not grant permission.

When authorized, the Actor accepts an official Dot Property Philippines sale or rent search URL, bounded `maxItems`/`maxPages`, `includeDetails`, and a direct-request timeout. It parses public listing-card fields and available Product JSON-LD. It uses direct HTTPS requests and reports unavailable or blocked responses in aggregate run metadata, without writing diagnostic dataset rows. It does not log in, submit seller/contact forms, use a proxy, or call remote Apify services.

The saved dataset contains three historical listing records from 2026-09-23. The one historical access-boundary diagnostic has been archived outside the Actor folder; no property row is current browser verification.

Offline checks:

```text
apify validate-schema
npm run lint
npm test
npm run validate
```

The default input reports `SUCCEEDED` / `SKIPPED_POLICY` in `OUTPUT_SUMMARY` and makes zero source requests. A live run requires applicable written authorization; do not use the confirmation flag without it. Clean completion, including an empty result, is `SUCCEEDED` / `COMPLETED`; a failure after saving one or more real listings is `SUCCEEDED` / `PARTIAL`; a failure with no saved listings is `FAILED` / `FAILED`. Only `FAILED` exits non-zero. The dataset contains property rows only.

### Runtime and dependency security

The finite batch lifecycle uses a readable native adapter to the documented Apify input, dataset and key-value-store REST interfaces, with CLI-compatible local JSON storage. Every write is awaited; dataset POSTs are not retried after an uncertain result. Cached JSON values and nonzero native failure exits are supported. Platform credentials are sent only in a bearer header to the fixed Apify API origin; redirects are refused and requests have a 30-second deadline. This adapter does not implement queues, migration recovery or Standby. The unused full SDK/Crawlee/cache/FTP/proxy dependency graph was removed, while the official censoring logger is pinned to `2.5.54`. The Node Docker image has no preinstalled SDK. Source access gates and restrictions remain enforced; runtime tests use mocked responses and do not prove source extraction. `npm audit --omit=dev` checks known npm advisories, not every possible risk.

# Actor input Schema

## `authorizationConfirmed` (type: `boolean`):

Required before any source request. Set true only when you hold specific written authorization covering automated collection, storing the resulting data, and the intended use. This flag does not grant permission.

## `startUrl` (type: `string`):

Official Dot Property Philippines sale or rent listing/search URL.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of listing records to emit.

## `maxPages` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of public result pages to visit.

## `includeDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Fetch each listing detail page for Product JSON-LD enrichment.

## `timeoutSecs` (type: `integer`):

Timeout for each public HTTP request.

  "maxItems": 20,
  "maxPages": 1,
  "includeDetails": true,
  "timeoutSecs": 30
}
```
# Actor output Schema
## `dataset` (type: `string`):
Dataset containing listing records.
## `summary` (type: `string`):
Local run summary.
You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.
## JavaScript example
```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';

// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});

// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "startUrl": "https://www.dotproperty.com.ph/properties-for-sale"
};

// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("realestateapi/dot-properties-and-details-scraper").call(input);

// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
