# D.R. Horton Properties and Details Scraper (`realestateapi/drhorton-properties-and-details-scraper`) Actor

Collect publicly displayed D.R. Horton community details and move-in-ready home listings from official community pages. The Actor reports blocked source requests in its run summary; extracted fields depend on the data returned by the source.

## Pricing

from $3.99 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## D.R. Horton Properties and Details Scraper

This Actor is designed to extract public D.R. Horton move-in-ready home and community fields from official community pages. As of 2026-09-26, Chrome displays a Cloudflare block at the homepage, so current listings and source fields could not be verified. The dataset schema describes 21 possible fields; there are no saved property records to validate against it.

### Input

```json
{
  "communityUrls": [],
  "maxItems": 10
}
```

Empty input makes zero source requests and reports `SUCCEEDED` / `COMPLETED` with zero records. When URLs are explicitly supplied, the Actor uses the direct official page and refuses redirects. It does not use an external rendered-page reader, submit forms, use accounts, or bypass interactive challenges.

### Output

The dataset schema describes 21 possible property and community fields, including pricing, home attributes, shared community details, and floor plans. Only validated home-listing records are written to the dataset. A clean empty result is `SUCCEEDED` / `COMPLETED`; a later failure after one or more home records are saved is `SUCCEEDED` / `PARTIAL`; a failure with no saved home records is `FAILED` / `FAILED`. Only failed runs exit non-zero.

### Dependency review — October 3, 2026

The production dependency lock has been refreshed within compatible declared ranges. The `get-uri` dependency uses patched `basic-ftp@6.2.1`; offline tests cover the Client methods consumed by `get-uri`, valid listing fields, and the adversarial listing parser case. Source permissions and access gates remain unchanged.

The remaining `http-cache-semantics` security advisory [GHSA-ch52-4w7c-c8xp](https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-ch52-4w7c-c8xp) has no published patched release. It remains present through the Apify/Crawlee request stack. This project does not claim the finding is fixed or unreachable, and the audit remains part of the release limitations.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
