## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## EURES Jobs Scraper: EU & Europe Job Vacancies

Get clean, structured job vacancies from **EURES**, the official European job mobility portal run by the European Labour Authority. EURES gathers the offers of the public employment services of 30+ countries: about 1.9 million jobs, including **26,000+ Spanish public employment offers** (SEPE, LABORA and the other regional services) that are hard to get anywhere else in bulk.

Filter by country, **NUTS region**, keyword, contract type, working time, education and experience. Turn on **"Only new since last run"** and schedule it daily: you get only the jobs you have not seen yet, and you never pay twice for the same job.

**No personal data.** Contact persons are never read. Emails, phone numbers, personal links and contact names are removed from the texts.

### What is it for?

- **Recruiters and staffing agencies:** a daily feed of new vacancies in your sector and region, across borders.
- **Labour market analysts, researchers and journalists:** count vacancies by occupation (ESCO), region and contract, week after week.
- **Job boards and aggregators:** official public employment offers with stable IDs and links back to EURES.
- **Training providers and public bodies:** see which occupations are in demand where.

### Features

- Official EURES search, no login, no browser, no proxy.
- Countries and NUTS regions (for example `es52` = Valencian Community, `es30` = Madrid).
- Occupation names from **ESCO** in the language you choose (en, es, fr, de...).
- Spanish public employment offer code (`publicOfferCode`) when the offer has one.
- **Alerts mode:** `onlyNewSinceLastRun` remembers what was delivered for the same search.
- **Detail mode (optional):** application deadline, start date, salary, education, experience, driving licences, languages, employer size and sector, and the full description.
- Respects the EURES robots.txt: 10 seconds between requests.

### Output fields

`jobId`, `title`, `occupations`, `occupationCodes`, `countries`, `regionCodes`, `employerName`, `employerWebsite`, `contractType`, `schedule`, `numberOfPosts`, `euresFlag`, `language`, `publishedAt`, `updatedAt`, `publicOfferCode`, `description`, `contactDataRemoved`, `jobUrl`, `source`, `scrapedAt`, `detailFetched`.

Detail mode adds: `applicationDeadline`, `startDate`, `endDate`, `employmentPeriodText`, `immediateStart`, `cities`, `postalCodes`, `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryInterval`, `salaryText`, `educationLevelCode`, `requiredExperience`, `drivingLicences`, `requiredLanguages`, `employerSize`, `employerSectorCodes`, `originSystem`, `originReference`.

### Pricing

Pay only for what you get (pay per event):

| Event | Price |
|---|---|
| Job returned | **$1.50 per 1,000 jobs** ($0.0015 each) |
| Job detail opened (optional, `fetchDetails`) | $2.00 per 1,000 jobs, extra |
| Run start | $0.00005 per run |

Example: 1,000 jobs cost about $1.50. With detail mode, about $3.50. No monthly fee. Platform usage is included. With **Only new since last run** you only pay for new jobs.

### Good to know

- Many public employment offers do not name the employer (`employerName` is empty), and many do not state working time, so filtering by working time leaves them out.
- Job texts stay in their original language. Occupation names are translated through ESCO.
- Contact data removal is automatic and conservative: sometimes a non-personal phrase after "Contact:" is also removed.
- Detail mode is slower (about 10 seconds per job) because EURES asks robots to wait 10 seconds between requests.

### Source and reuse

Data: EURES, © European Labour Authority (ELA). The EURES legal notice authorises re-use provided ELA is acknowledged as the source; every row carries `source`. This Actor is not affiliated with or endorsed by EURES or the ELA, and does not use their logos.

### FAQ

#### Is there a EURES API?

EURES has no simple public API for bulk use. This EURES scraper reads the official portal for you and returns clean rows as JSON, CSV or Excel.

#### Which countries are covered?

The 30+ countries of EURES (EU, EEA and Switzerland), including about 26,000 Spanish public employment offers (SEPE and the regional services).

#### How do I get daily job alerts?

Turn on **Only new since last run** and schedule the Actor daily. You only pay for new jobs.

#### How much does it cost?

$1.50 per 1,000 jobs. Detail mode adds $2 per 1,000. No monthly fee.

#### Does it collect personal data?

No. Contact persons, emails and phone numbers are removed from every job.

# Actor input Schema

## `countries` (type: `array`):

Two-letter country codes where the job is, for example es, pt, fr, de, it, at, nl, pl, ie. Leave empty for all EURES countries.

## `regions` (type: `array`):

Optional NUTS codes for a smaller area, for example es52 (Valencian Community), es51 (Catalonia), es30 (Madrid), es61 (Andalusia), de21 (Upper Bavaria), fr10 (Ile-de-France). If you set a region, its whole country is not added.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Words searched in the title and text of the job, in any language. Example: python, enfermero, nurse.

## `publicationPeriod` (type: `string`):

Only jobs published in this period. Empty = all open jobs.

## `contractTypes` (type: `array`):

Optional. Codes: directhire, contract, temporary, seasonal, contracttohire, temporarytohire, selfemployed, apprenticeship, internship, volunteer, oncall. Jobs that do not state it are left out when you use this filter.

## `schedules` (type: `array`):

Optional. Codes: fulltime, parttime, flextime. Many public employment offers (for example most Spanish ones) do not state it and are left out when you use this filter.

## `educationLevels` (type: `array`):

Optional. Codes: basic, medium, tertiary, bachelor, master, doctoral.

## `experience` (type: `array`):

Optional. Codes: none_required, up_to_1_year, between_1_and_2_years, between_2_and_5_years, more_than_5_years.

## `onlyEuresFlag` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs whose employer explicitly wants candidates from other EU countries.

## `occupationLanguage` (type: `string`):

Two-letter code (en, es, fr, de, it, pt, pl...). Occupation names come from ESCO, the EU classification. Job texts stay in their original language.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Full text of the job, with emails, phone numbers, personal links and contact names removed. Turn off for smaller rows.

## `fetchDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Adds application deadline, start date, salary, education, experience, driving licences, languages, employer size and sector, and the full description. Charged as an extra event per job and slower (about 10 seconds per job, because EURES asks robots to wait 10 seconds between requests).

## `onlyNewSinceLastRun` (type: `boolean`):

Remembers the jobs already delivered for this same search and skips them, so you never pay twice for the same job. Ideal with a daily schedule.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs.

## `requestDelaySecs` (type: `integer`):

Minimum 10, as the EURES robots.txt asks (Crawl-delay: 10). Lower values are raised to 10.
