## Pricing

Pay per usage

This Actor is paid per platform usage. The Actor is free to use, and you only pay for the Apify platform usage, which gets cheaper the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Company Contact Finder — Africa & Francophone websites

Turn a list of company websites into a clean contact list: **emails, phone numbers, WhatsApp links, social profiles and postal address**, one row per company.

Built for sales teams, agencies and recruiters prospecting in **Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Cameroon and Francophone Africa**, where most contact tools miss local phone formats and WhatsApp numbers. Works on any website worldwide.

### What it extracts

| Field | Example |
| --- | --- |
| companyName | Clinique Espoir |
| emails | rdv@clinique-espoir.ci |
| phones | +2252722445566 (international format) |
| whatsapp | https://wa.me/2250707123456 |
| socialLinks | Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok |
| address | Rue des Jardins, Cocody, Abidjan |

### How it works

1. Opens each home page.
2. Follows only the pages likely to contain contact details (Contact, About, Legal notice, Team), on the same site.
3. Reads mailto and tel links, visible text, schema.org and JSON-LD data.
4. Normalizes phone numbers (Ivorian 10-digit numbers get +225; change the default country code in the input).
5. Returns one deduplicated row per site.

It uses plain HTTP requests (no browser), so it is fast and cheap.

### Pricing

Pay per result: you are charged only for sites where at least one email, phone or WhatsApp number was found.

### Responsible use

The Actor only reads public pages and respects robots.txt by default. You are responsible for how you use the contacts: follow the data-protection and anti-spam laws that apply to you (for example GDPR in Europe and Law No. 2013-450 on personal data in Côte d'Ivoire), and do not send unsolicited bulk messages.

### Support

Found a site where it misses a contact? Open an issue on the Actor page with the URL and I will improve it.

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Home page URLs of the companies to analyze. One site = one result row.

## `maxPagesPerSite` (type: `integer`):

Home page + likely contact/about/legal pages. Keep it low to save cost.

## `defaultCountryCode` (type: `string`):

Used to normalize local phone numbers without a + prefix. 225 = Côte d'Ivoire, 221 = Senegal, 237 = Cameroon, 33 = France.

## `respectRobotsTxt` (type: `boolean`):

Skip pages disallowed by the site's robots.txt.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

Parallel requests. Lower it if sites block you.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Optional. Use Apify Proxy if some sites block datacenter IPs.
