## Pricing

from $3.12 / 1,000 video downloadeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## Bilibili Video Downloader

Resolve Bilibili (哔哩哔哩) video URLs or bvids into the real DASH stream URLs
(video/audio tracks, quality options), subtitles, and metadata (title,
owner, duration, stats). One dataset row per video.

### Why

Built on the already-verified WBI-signing logic from the sibling
`bilibili-all-in-one-api` actor (same account) — the request signing, host,
and quirks below aren't re-guessed here, they're copied from that actor's
live-tested client. See its README for the full research writeup.

- `playurl` requires WBI signing + a `buvid3`/`buvid4` device cookie — an
  unsigned call returns a disguised-blocked "success" with only a
  `v_voucher` risk-control challenge instead of real stream data.
- `qn` (quality) is clamped by Bilibili to what an anonymous, non-logged-in
  caller can access — up to 1080p, not 4K/HDR.
- An empty `subtitle` result is real for videos that simply have no CC
  track, not an error.
- Requests are sent **sequentially**, not in parallel — playurl is
  Bilibili's most protected endpoint, so this spaces out requests instead
  of firing a whole video list at once.
- A bad/removed bvid doesn't crash the run — that item gets an
  `{ input, error }` row instead and the rest of the list still processes.

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `videos` | `string[]` | required | Bilibili video URLs or bare `BVxxxxxxxxxx` ids |
| `quality` | `number` | `80` | Requested `qn` stream quality |
| `includeSubtitles` | `boolean` | `true` | Fetch the CC/subtitle track list per video |

### Output

One dataset row per resolved video:

```json
{
  "bvid": "BV1FQtt6JEKs",
  "title": "...",
  "description": "...",
  "durationSecs": 123,
  "thumbnail": "https://...",
  "owner": { "mid": 14804670, "name": "...", "face": "https://..." },
  "stats": { "view": 0, "like": 0, "coin": 0, "favorite": 0, "share": 0, "reply": 0, "danmaku": 0 },
  "playUrl": { "dash": { "video": [...], "audio": [...] }, "...": "..." },
  "subtitle": { "subtitles": [] }
}
```

### Pricing

Researched against live competitors in this exact niche (2026-09-03):
`easyapi/bilibili-video-downloader` at $0.00299/item (top performer, 1220
runs), `apple_yang/bilibili-video-audio-downloader` at $0.001/item. Priced
slightly above that baseline to reflect the bundled full metadata +
subtitles alongside the stream URLs, using this account's standard tiered
ladder (FREE/BRONZE/SILVER/GOLD/PLATINUM/DIAMOND =
100/92/85/78/72/68%): `video-downloaded` at $0.004 (FREE tier).

### Getting started

```bash
apify run
```

# Actor input Schema

## `videos` (type: `array`):

Bilibili video URLs (bilibili.com/video/BVxxxxxxxxxx) or bare BVxxxxxxxxxx ids.

## `quality` (type: `integer`):

Requested stream quality. Bilibili clamps this to what an anonymous (non-logged-in) caller can access -- up to 1080p (qn=80), not 4K/HDR.

## `includeSubtitles` (type: `boolean`):

Fetch the CC/subtitle track list for each video. An empty result is normal for videos with no subtitles.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "videos": [
    "https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1GJ411x7h7"
  ],
  "quality": 80,
  "includeSubtitles": true
}
```

## `dataset` (type: `string`):

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "videos": [
        "https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1GJ411x7h7"
    ]
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("romy/bilibili-video-downloader").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
    console.dir(item);
});
