## Pricing

from $0.80 / 1,000 quote chargeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### What does Bloomberg Quotes Scraper do?

**Bloomberg Quotes Scraper** takes one or more Bloomberg security ids and pushes a batch quote (price, % change, name) plus full detail (company profile, executives, P/E, market cap, sector, volume) for each, one dataset row per id.

It talks directly to the same internal API the official [Bloomberg](https://www.bloomberg.com/) Android app uses (`cdn-mobapi.bloomberg.com`), reverse-engineered by capturing and analyzing live traffic from the real app — including bypassing its dual-layer TLS certificate pinning and root-detection with Frida on a real device — then independently re-confirmed by calling the API directly from a plain server with no device involved at all. This is the quotes slice of [Bloomberg All-in-One API](https://apify.com/romy/bloomberg-all-in-one-api), split out as its own focused Actor.

### Why use Bloomberg Quotes Scraper?

- **No signature, token, or session cookie needed** — confirmed live: only a fixed `user-agent` header identifying the app is required, nothing else
- **One batch call + parallel per-id detail, merged into one row** — a single `tickerCompact` call covers all ids at once, then `tickerFull` runs per id in parallel and gets merged in
- **Universal security model** — the same id shape (`symbol:exchange`) works across stocks, indices, commodities, currencies, and bonds, with the exact same output structure
- **No batch limit found** — confirmed live with 81 distinct ids in a single call
- **No account needed** — every request works fully anonymously
- **Use cases:** market data dashboards, portfolio trackers, quant research, price alerting, watchlist enrichment

### Input

| Field | Type     | Description                                                                                                                                                                                                           |
| ----- | -------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `ids` | string\[] | **Required.** Bloomberg security ids in `symbol:exchange` format. Works across security types: stocks (e.g. `aapl:us`), indices (`indu:ind`), commodities (`cl1:com`), currencies (`eurusd:cur`), bonds (`gt10:gov`). |

Example:

```json
{
    "ids": ["aapl:us", "indu:ind", "eurusd:cur"]
}
```

### Output

One dataset row per id:

```json
{
    "id": "aapl:us",
    "quote": {
        "symbol": "AAPL",
        "name": "Apple Inc",
        "last": 227.5,
        "netChange": 1.2,
        "pctChange": 0.53
    },
    "detail": {
        "name": "Apple Inc",
        "sector": "Technology",
        "exchange": "NASDAQ GS",
        "last": 227.5,
        "open": 226.1,
        "volume": 48213000,
        "marketCap": 3480000000000,
        "peRatio": 34.2,
        "yearHigh": 237.23,
        "yearLow": 164.08,
        "executives": ["..."],
        "links": { "...": "related resources (news, financials, keystats, chart ranges)" }
    }
}
```

### Known limitations

- Financials, key stats, news, movers, and historical charts per security are separate concerns not covered here — see [Bloomberg All-in-One API](https://apify.com/romy/bloomberg-all-in-one-api) for the full endpoint set.
- `tickerFull` is called once per id (matching the parent API's per-id route), not batched — for very large id lists this means many parallel requests, not one.

### Pricing

Pay-per-event: $0.0008 per `quote` result (FREE plan; BRONZE/SILVER/GOLD/PLATINUM/DIAMOND get automatic discounts based on your Apify plan). Billed per security id processed.
