## Pricing

from $0.80 / 1,000 schedule fetch chargeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### What does CNBC TV Schedule Scraper do?

**CNBC TV Schedule Scraper** fetches CNBC's live and upcoming TV schedule — what's on right now and what's coming up next — in a single batch run.

It talks directly to the same internal API the official [CNBC](https://www.cnbc.com/) Android app uses (`webql.cnbcfm.com`), reverse-engineered by live MITM capture against a real device — a real Apollo-style GraphQL persisted query (`showsSchedule`, exact query hash captured live, never guessed). No CNBC account, no API key, no scraping setup. This is the TV-schedule slice of [CNBC All-in-One API](https://apify.com/romy/cnbc-all-in-one-api), split out as its own focused Actor.

### Why use CNBC TV Schedule Scraper?

- **Real live-TV data, no scraping the site** — the same feed the CNBC app itself reads, straight from the source
- **No account needed** — confirmed anonymous: no Authorization header, no cookie, no session token in the captured request
- **Zero configuration** — no input required, just run it
- **Use cases:** "on air now" widgets, program-alert bots, media-monitoring dashboards

### How it connects to the parent

This Actor is a narrow spin-off of [CNBC All-in-One API](https://apify.com/romy/cnbc-all-in-one-api), which exposes CNBC's full reverse-engineered API surface (news, trending, articles, video, quotes, fundamentals, and more) as an always-on Standby endpoint. This Actor wraps only the parent's `GET /tv-schedule` endpoint (the `showsSchedule` operation) as a plain batch Actor — run it, get one dataset row back, no Standby mode needed.

### Input

No input required. Running with default (empty) input fetches today's schedule.

### Output

One dataset row containing the real, unmodified `showsSchedule` response. Example (fields trimmed for readability):

```json
{
    "schedule": {
        "currDate": "2026-08-20",
        "live": {
            "shortTitle": "Closing Bell",
            "startTimeFormatted": "03:00 pm",
            "endTimeFormatted": "04:00 pm"
        }
    }
}
```

### Known limitations

- **No pagination exists for this feed.** Per the parent Actor's README: this is a fixed-size bounded schedule listing (today's live show plus what's next), not an infinite-scroll feed — there's no offset/cursor to page through, and none was found in the app itself.
- **No date parameter.** The upstream operation takes no variables — it always returns the current day's schedule, not an arbitrary date.
- This is an unofficial, reverse-engineered integration, not affiliated with or endorsed by CNBC or NBCUniversal. Behavior may change if CNBC changes its API.

### Pricing

Pay per event. Charged `schedule-fetch` ($0.002 on the FREE plan) once per run. See the Actor's Pricing tab for current rates.
