## Pricing

from $0.39 / 1,000 job search results

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Indeed All-in-One API

Unofficial, always-on REST API for live Indeed data: search job listings, fetch full job detail, and look up companies. Wraps Indeed's own mobile-app API, reverse-engineered from the real app and verified live. No account, login, app or device needed for any endpoint here.

### Why

Indeed's web search results are heavily rate-limited and bot-walled. This Actor talks to the backend API the mobile app itself uses, so results are fast, complete, and structured — full job descriptions, salary figures, company ratings, and more, not just what's visible in a search snippet.

### Endpoints

All endpoints are plain `GET` requests on the Actor's Standby URL — no need to start a run.

#### `GET /search`

| Param | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `what` | no | Search keywords (job title, skill, company) |
| `where` | no | Location, e.g. `New York, NY` |
| `radius` | no | Search radius in miles (default 25) |
| `limit` | no | Results per page, max 100 (default 25) |
| `cursor` | no | Pagination cursor from a previous response's `nextCursor`. **Must reuse the same `limit` as the original search** — Indeed's API rejects a cursor if the limit changes between pages. |
| `sort` | no | `RELEVANCE` (default) or `DATE` |
| `jobType` | no | One of `FULL_TIME`, `PART_TIME`, `CONTRACT`, `INTERNSHIP`, `TEMPORARY`, `PER_DIEM`, `VOLUNTEER` |
| `remote` | no | `true` to filter remote-only jobs |
| `co` / `locale` | no | Country/locale, e.g. `co=US&locale=en-US` (default) |

Returns `{ jobs: [...], nextCursor: string | null }`. Each job includes title, company, location, full HTML description, salary range, attribute tags, and company rating/logo when available.

#### `GET /job`

| Param | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `key` | yes | Job key, from a `/search` result |
| `co` / `locale` | no | Same as above |

Returns full job detail: formatted location, formatted salary text, company industry/description/employee-count, and the real `indeed.com` job URL.

#### `GET /companies`

| Param | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `what` | yes | Company name to search (fuzzy match) |
| `co` / `locale` | no | Same as above |

Returns `{ companies: [{ name, logoUrl }] }`.

### Pricing

Pay-per-event:

- `job-search` — charged per job returned from `/search`
- `job-detail` — charged per `/job` call
- `company-search` — charged per company matched from `/companies`

### Known limitations

- No login-gated data (saved jobs, application status, messages) — this Actor only covers public search/detail/company data.
- Salary figures are only present when Indeed itself has them (employer-provided or estimated); many listings have none.
- `nextCursor` pagination requires keeping `limit` constant across pages for a given search.
