## Pricing

from $3.10 / 1,000 channel profile fetcheds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### What does Kick Channel Profile Scraper do?

**Kick Channel Profile Scraper** takes one or more [Kick](https://kick.com/) channel slugs and pushes a merged channel profile — core info (banner, follower count, live status, subscriber badge tiers), social links, recently-streamed categories, gifter leaderboard, and custom emote set — one dataset row per slug.

It talks directly to the same internal APIs the official Kick Android app uses (`kick.com`), reverse-engineered by capturing and analyzing live traffic from the real app. No Kick account, no API key. This is the channel-profile slice of [Kick All-in-One API](https://apify.com/romy/kick-all-in-one-api), split out as its own focused Actor.

### Why use Kick Channel Profile Scraper?

- **Three calls in one row** — channel info, gifter leaderboard, and emotes, fetched in parallel and merged into a single dataset item per slug
- **Returns the channel's numeric id** — needed to chain into other Kick spin-off Actors in this family (videos, clips, chat, playback), which take the numeric id rather than the slug
- **No account needed** — every read request works fully anonymously
- **Use cases:** creator monitoring dashboards, sponsorship/brand research, emote-set enrichment, gifter/leaderboard tracking

### Input

| Field   | Type     | Description                                                                                                  |
| ------- | -------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| `slugs` | string\[] | **Required.** Kick channel slugs (the name in a channel's URL, e.g. `kaneljoseph` for kick.com/kaneljoseph). |

Example:

```json
{ "slugs": ["kaneljoseph", "trainwreckstv"] }
```

### Output

One dataset row per slug:

```json
{
    "slug": "kaneljoseph",
    "channel": {
        "id": 18750821,
        "slug": "kaneljoseph",
        "chatroomId": 18490228,
        "info": { "verified": true, "followers_count": 89833, "livestream": null },
        "links": [],
        "recentCategories": [{ "name": "IRL", "viewers": 202259 }]
    },
    "leaderboard": { "...": "top gifters" },
    "emotes": { "...": "channel emote set" }
}
```

### Known limitations

- A slug that fails (channel doesn't exist, renamed, banned) is logged and skipped — the run continues with the remaining slugs rather than aborting.
- VODs, clips, playback URLs, and chat are separate spin-off Actors in this family — this one focuses on the channel profile itself.

### Pricing

Pay-per-event, billed on the `channel` event: $0.004 per channel profile successfully fetched (FREE tier). See the Actor's Pricing tab for current rates.
