## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## TikTok Place Creator Scraper

Discover TikTok creators who post at specific places — restaurants, venues, landmarks. Returns each creator's follower count, engagement stats, and how many videos they've posted at the location. No login required.

### What does TikTok Place Creator Scraper do?

Given a TikTok Place URL, this Actor fetches all recent videos tagged at that location, identifies each unique creator, and retrieves their full public profile. Ideal for influencer discovery, local marketing research, and brand ambassador prospecting.

### Use cases

- **Influencer discovery** — find creators already posting organically from your venue
- **Brand ambassador sourcing** — identify loyal customers who are also content creators
- **Local marketing research** — map the TikTok creator landscape around any physical location
- **Competitor analysis** — see which influencers are posting at competitor venues

### How to use

#### Step 1: Configure input

Provide one or more TikTok Place URLs:

```json
{
    "poiUrls": [
        "https://www.tiktok.com/place/Burger-King-Salemba-22535796482654860"
    ],
    "maxVideos": 100
}
```

| Field | Type | Required | Default | Description |
|-------|------|----------|---------|-------------|
| `poiUrls` | string\[] | Yes | — | TikTok Place URLs |
| `maxVideos` | integer | No | 100 | Max videos to scan per place (1–500). Higher = more creators found |

**How to find a Place URL:** Search for a location on TikTok, open the place page, and copy the URL from your browser.

#### Step 2: Run and download results

Click **Start** and download results as **JSON, CSV, or Excel** from the Output tab.

### Output

One object per unique creator per place:

```json
{
  "poiId": "22535796482654860",
  "poiUrl": "https://www.tiktok.com/place/Burger-King-Salemba-22535796482654860",
  "videosAtThisPlace": 3,
  "user": {
    "id": "6913704478123456789",
    "uniqueId": "foodblogger_id",
    "nickname": "Food Blogger ID",
    "verified": false,
    "privateAccount": false,
    "signature": "Food lover Jakarta 🍜",
    "region": "ID",
    "avatarThumb": "https://p16-sign.tiktokcdn.com/..."
  },
  "stats": {
    "followerCount": 458000,
    "followingCount": 512,
    "heartCount": 3200000,
    "videoCount": 312
  }
}
```

`videosAtThisPlace` is how many of the scanned videos were posted by this creator at the queried location.

### Pricing

| Event | Price |
|-------|-------|
| Actor start | $0.05 |
| Per creator scraped | $0.01 |

Scraping a place with 20 unique creators costs approximately **$0.25**.

### FAQ

**Does this require login?**
No. Uses TikTok's public place video API and public profile pages.

**How do I find a TikTok Place URL?**
On TikTok web, search for a location (e.g. a restaurant name), click the place tag on any video, and copy the URL — it looks like `https://www.tiktok.com/place/Name-12345678901234567`.

**Why are some creators missing?**
Creators with private accounts may return no profile data and are skipped. The scraper also only sees videos within `maxVideos` of the most recent posts.

**Can I run this for multiple venues at once?**
Yes — add multiple place URLs to `poiUrls` and they are all processed in a single run.

**Is this legal?**
This Actor accesses publicly available TikTok data. Use responsibly and in accordance with TikTok's Terms of Service.
