## Pricing

from $2.00 / 1,000 companies

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## KRS Poland Companies Scraper: Register Data, PKD, Status

Get Polish companies from **KRS (Krajowy Rejestr Sądowy)**, the National Court Register, as clean, flat JSON, CSV or Excel. The actor reads the **official KRS API of the Ministry of Justice**, not a website, so it is fast, stable and does not break when a page changes.

Three ways to use it:

- **New registrations.** Every company, partnership, foundation or association registered in KRS on the days you choose. Leave the dates empty and you get the latest working day. Schedule it daily and you have a feed of new Polish businesses.
- **All registry changes.** Every entity with a registry entry on those days: new, changed, suspended, put into liquidation or deleted. Combine with the status filter to watch liquidations and deletions.
- **Look up.** Paste KRS numbers (with or without the leading zeros, or links that contain them) and get the current record of each.

Filter by voivodeship, city, PKD activity code, legal form and status.

![Input form of KRS Poland Companies Scraper: Register Data, PKD, Status](https://api.apify.com/v2/key-value-stores/7hbQFQdGq61v2OZ2h/records/krs-poland-companies-input.png)

### What you get

Each entity becomes one row with about 60 fields:

- **Identity:** KRS number, register (entrepreneurs or associations), name, legal form (Polish and English), NIP, NIP status, REGON
- **Status:** active, suspended (with the date), in liquidation, dissolved, bankruptcy, restructuring or deleted (with the deletion date)
- **Dates:** registration in KRS, last registry entry and its number, court of the last entry
- **Seat and address:** voivodeship (Polish and English), county, municipality, seat, street, building and unit number, postcode, city, post office, one-line address
- **Website** as registered
- **Activities:** main PKD code and description, plus every registered PKD code and description
- **Capital:** share capital, currency, paid-up capital, number of shares, nominal value per share
- **Structure, as counts:** management board size, supervisory board size, commercial proxies, shareholders listed; shareholders that are themselves KRS companies (name and KRS number); branches (name and city)
- **Filings and risk signals:** number of annual accounts filed, period end and filing date of the latest accounts, tax and social-security arrears entries with the total in PLN, court-appointed curator, mergers and transformations
- **Associations and foundations:** public-benefit status (OPP) and the registered purpose

### Why this actor

- **Official source.** The open KRS API of the Polish Ministry of Justice. No browser, no proxies, no blocking, no API key.
- **A daily feed, not only lookups.** The registry bulletin lists every entity with an entry on a given day; the actor turns it into full records and keeps only what you ask for.
- **Fast on new companies.** KRS numbers are handed out in order, so new registrations sit at the top of each day's list. The actor reads from the top and stops when the new ones end.
- **Deleted entities are not lost.** When a company has been removed from the register, the current extract is empty. The actor reads the full extract instead and returns the last known data with the deletion date.
- **No personal data.** See the privacy section below.
- **You stay in control of cost.** Pay per entity. The run stops cleanly when your maximum charge is reached.

### How to use it

1. Open the Actor and fill in **What to get** (the other fields are optional filters).
2. Set **Maximum companies** to a small number for a first try (the default is a safe start).
3. Click **Start**. The status line shows progress; the run stops cleanly at your limit or at the charge limit you set in the run options.
4. Open the **Dataset** tab and download JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML, or send the rows to Google Sheets, Slack, Make, n8n or Zapier with the Integrations tab.
5. To run it on a schedule, use **Schedules** in Apify Console and turn on **Only new rows since the last run** below: every run then costs only the new rows, and a webhook URL tells you when something new came in.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `mode` | `new` (default), `changes` or `lookup` |
| `dateFrom`, `dateTo` | Days to read, as `YYYY-MM-DD` or `yesterday`, `7 days`. Empty = the latest day with registry entries (for new registrations: the latest working day) |
| `krsNumbers` | For `lookup`: `0000028860`, `28860` or a link that contains the number |
| `register` | Both (default), entrepreneurs only (P) or associations and foundations only (S) |
| `voivodeships`, `cities` | Keep only entities seated there |
| `pkdCodes`, `pkdMainOnly` | Keep only entities with these PKD codes or prefixes (`62`, `62.01`, `41.20.Z`); optionally the main activity only |
| `legalForms`, `statuses` | Keep only these legal forms and states |
| `maxItems` | Stop after this many entities. `0` = no limit. Default 100 |
| `includeActivities`, `includeBranches` | Control the size of each row |
| `onlyNew`, `stateName`, `notifyUrl`, `notifyWhenEmpty` | Only new rows, notifications: see **Automation** below |

Example: new IT companies registered in Masovia (Warsaw) last week.

```json
{
  "mode": "new",
  "dateFrom": "7 days",
  "voivodeships": ["MAZOWIECKIE"],
  "pkdCodes": ["62"],
  "maxItems": 0
}
```

Example: companies that went into liquidation yesterday, anywhere in Poland.

```json
{
  "mode": "changes",
  "dateFrom": "yesterday",
  "dateTo": "yesterday",
  "statuses": ["in liquidation"],
  "maxItems": 0
}
```

### Output

### Pricing

**Pay per result.** You pay for each company delivered to your dataset, nothing else: no subscription, no minimum, no charge for rows your filters drop or for the requests behind them.

| Your Apify plan | Price per 1,000 rows | Price per row |
|---|---|---|
| Free plan | **$3.00** | $0.003 |
| Starter plan | **$2.67** | $0.00267 |
| Scale plan | **$2.33** | $0.00233 |
| Business plan and above | **$2.00** | $0.002 |

Example: 1,000 companies cost $3.00 on the Free plan and $2.00 on the Business plan. The Apify platform usage of a run (compute, storage) is small for this actor — well under one cent per 1,000 rows — and is billed by Apify separately, as for every Actor.
A start event of $0.00005 is charged once per run (Apify default).
**Cap your spend:** set *Maximum total charge* in the run options. The actor stops cleanly when the cap is reached and you keep everything delivered until then. The run summary (`RUN_SUMMARY` in the key-value store) says why a run stopped.

### Automation: only new rows, notifications, schedules

**Only new rows since the last run.** Turn on `onlyNew` and the actor remembers every company it delivered to you (in a key-value store named `rowcraft-krs-poland-companies-state` in your Apify account). The next run with the same `stateName` skips what you already have and you pay only for new rows. The first run delivers everything that matches. Use a different `stateName` for each schedule or search so they keep separate memories.

**Notification when the run ends.** Put a webhook address in `notifyUrl` and the actor sends one JSON POST with the number of new rows, links to the dataset (JSON and CSV) and the run. It works out of the box with Slack and Discord incoming webhooks (the message is in `text` and `content`), with Make, n8n and Zapier catch hooks, and with your own endpoint. By default it is sent only when there is at least one new row; `notifyWhenEmpty` sends it every time.

**Schedules.** Create a schedule in Apify Console (hourly, daily, weekly or cron) with `onlyNew` on. A daily schedule gives you a feed of new companies for the price of the new rows only.

**Integrations.** Send the results to Make, n8n, Zapier, Google Sheets, Slack, Google Drive, Airtable or any webhooks from the Integrations tab of the Actor, with no code. Apify also offers native actions for Make, n8n and Zapier.

**API, SDKs and AI agents.** Every run is available through the Apify API and the official JavaScript and Python clients; the Actor can also be called by AI agents through the Apify MCP server. The example input in the API tab is a working call.

### Use cases

- **B2B sales:** new companies are buyers of accounting, banking, insurance, software, office space and equipment. A daily run gives the list on the day they appear.
- **Credit and supplier checks:** status, suspension, liquidation, tax arrears and filing history in one row.
- **Market research:** how many companies of which kind are founded where, by PKD code, legal form and capital.
- **Monitoring:** run `changes` daily with your own list of KRS numbers in mind, or filter by status to catch liquidations and deletions.
- **Enrichment:** NIP and REGON link KRS records to tax and statistics registers.

Ready-made examples, each with the input filled in (open one and press Start, or save it as your own task):

- [Track new company registrations in Warsaw](https://apify.com/rowcraft/krs-poland-companies/examples/new-companies-warsaw)
- [Get newly registered real estate companies in Poland](https://apify.com/rowcraft/krs-poland-companies/examples/new-real-estate-companies-poland)

### What this actor does not do

- Search by company name or NIP: the official API accepts KRS numbers only. Use the date modes to discover entities, then look up the ones you need.
- People: board members, proxies, shareholders who are people, liquidators. You get counts, never names.
- Sole traders (CEIDG), which are not in KRS.
- Documents and financial statements (PDF filings): not delivered; the row says how many statements were filed and when.

### Limits and fair use

- The actor sends one request per second by default and each entity takes one request (two for deleted entities and, with "Both" registers, for associations). You can slow it down; you cannot go below 250 ms.
- A normal working day has about 4,000 entities with registry entries and a few hundred new registrations. Weekends have fewer.
- Dates are Polish time (Europe/Warsaw).
- **Filters are applied after an entity is read**, because the API has no search. A narrow filter over many days reads many entities; only matches are charged.
- **Time.** `new` is quick: new registrations sit at the top of each day's list. `changes` over a full working day reads about 4,000 entities: roughly 70 minutes at the default speed, about 25 minutes at 250 ms. Liquidations and deletions are mostly older companies, so they come late in the day's list.
- The official API has no search by name or NIP. Use `lookup` with KRS numbers, or the date modes.
- Sole traders (JDG) are not in KRS; they are in CEIDG, which this actor does not read.

### Data source and licence

Source: the open KRS API of the Polish Ministry of Justice (`api-krs.ms.gov.pl`), which publishes current and full extracts and the daily registry bulletin. KRS is a public register. This actor is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the Ministry of Justice.

### Privacy: no personal data

Rowcraft actors are built not to collect personal data. This actor copies only company fields:

- Management board members, supervisory board members, commercial proxies (prokurenci), liquidators, curators, founders and shareholders who are people are **never read into the results**. You get how many there are, not who they are.
- Shareholders that are themselves companies registered in KRS are kept (name and KRS number), because that is company data.
- The registered e-mail address and the electronic delivery address are left out. The website stays.
- Free-text fields in the register (resolutions, notary deeds, representation rules) can name people, so they are left out.
- The name of a partnership must, by Polish law, contain a partner's surname (for example "Kowalski i Wspólnicy sp.j."). That is the company's legal name and stays.

You are responsible for using the data in line with the law that applies to you.

### FAQ

**Is this web scraping?** No. It uses the official open API of the Ministry of Justice. No login or API key is needed.

**Can I search by company name or NIP?** Not through the official API, which only accepts KRS numbers. Use the date modes to discover entities, or look up the KRS numbers you have.

**Why are board members not included?** Because they are people. Rowcraft actors do not collect personal data. Board size and structure are included as counts.

**How many new companies per day?** Typically a few hundred on a working day. Leave `maxItems` at `0` to get all of them.

**A company shows status "deleted" but has no activities.** Deleted entities have no current extract; the actor returns the identity, address and deletion date from the full extract.

**How much does it cost?** $3.00 per 1,000 companies on the Free plan, less on paid plans (see Pricing). You pay only for rows delivered to your dataset; set a maximum total charge in the run options to cap a run.

**Can I pay only for new companies?** Yes. Turn on **Only new rows since the last run**: the actor remembers what it delivered to you and later runs with the same state name deliver (and charge) only the new rows.

**How do I get the results into Slack, Google Sheets, Make, n8n or Zapier?** Use the Integrations tab of the Actor for the data, and the `notifyUrl` field for a message when a run ends (Slack and Discord webhooks work directly; catch hooks of Make, n8n and Zapier too).

**Can I call it from code or from an AI agent?** Yes: through the Apify API, the JavaScript and Python clients, and the Apify MCP server. The API tab shows a working example with the input of this Actor.

**Is it legal to use this data?** The actor reads the official API described in the Data source section and delivers company and job data without personal data. The licence of the source is described above. How you use the data is your responsibility under the law that applies to you.

**Does it collect personal data?** No. Contact persons, e-mails and phone numbers are removed and fields about people are never requested. See the Privacy section.

**The run finished with 0 rows. Did I pay?** No: with no rows delivered nothing is charged apart from the start event. Check the run summary (`RUN_SUMMARY`) for warnings, widen the filters, or run with **Only new rows** off if everything matching was already delivered to you.

# Actor input Schema

## `mode` (type: `string`):

New registrations: entities first registered in KRS on the chosen dates. All changes: every entity with a registry entry on those dates (new, changed, suspended, in liquidation, deleted). Look up: the KRS numbers you list below.

## `dateFrom` (type: `string`):

First day, as YYYY-MM-DD or relative: "yesterday", "7 days". Leave both dates empty to use the latest day with registry entries; for new registrations, the latest working day (weekends and public holidays bring only automatic changes). Polish time.

## `dateTo` (type: `string`):

Last day, as YYYY-MM-DD or relative. Empty = today when a From date is set.

## `krsNumbers` (type: `array`):

For "Look up": KRS numbers with or without the leading zeros (0000028860 or 28860), or links that contain the number.

## `register` (type: `string`):

KRS has two registers: entrepreneurs (companies, partnerships, cooperatives) and associations/foundations. Auto checks both.

## `voivodeships` (type: `array`):

Keep only entities seated in these voivodeships (provinces).

## `cities` (type: `array`):

Keep only entities seated in these cities, e.g. "Warszawa", "Kraków", "Wrocław". Polish spelling.

## `pkdCodes` (type: `array`):

Keep only entities with these PKD activity codes or prefixes, e.g. "62" (IT), "62.01", "41.20.Z", "68" (real estate).

## `pkdMainOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Off: an entity matches when any of its registered activities has the code. On: only the main (predominant) activity counts.

## `legalForms` (type: `array`):

Keep only these legal forms.

## `statuses` (type: `array`):

Keep only entities in these states. Useful with "All registry changes" to catch liquidations, suspensions and deletions.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many companies. 0 = no limit (every match in the chosen dates).

## `includeActivities` (type: `boolean`):

Adds the full list of registered PKD codes and descriptions (the main activity is always included).

## `includeBranches` (type: `boolean`):

Adds the list of registered branches (name and city).

## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):

Remember the rows already delivered to you (in a key-value store in your Apify account) and deliver only rows that appeared since the last run with the same state key. The first run delivers everything that matches; later runs cost only the new rows. Ideal for schedules.

## `stateName` (type: `string`):

Name of the memory used by "Only new rows". Use a different name for each schedule or search (for example `stockholm-python`) so they do not share one memory.

## `notifyUrl` (type: `string`):

A webhook address that receives one JSON POST with the number of new rows and links to the dataset: a Slack or Discord incoming webhook, a Make, n8n or Zapier catch hook, or your own endpoint. The message is also in the `text` (Slack) and `content` (Discord) fields.

## `notifyWhenEmpty` (type: `boolean`):

By default the notification is sent only when at least one row was delivered.

## `requestIntervalMs` (type: `integer`):

Default 1000 ms (one request per second); each company is one request. Minimum 250.
