## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Images API – Google Image Search Scraper & Image URLs

Get every image Google Images shows for a search: the full-size image URL, Google's thumbnail, the image title, the page the image is on and the website, in Google's order. Up to 700 images per search, from any country and in any language, plus the related searches Google suggests.
Built for SEO and image SEO checks, e-commerce and brand teams watching where their product photos appear, designers collecting references, dataset builders and AI agents.
The data comes through a licensed data provider (DataForSEO), not by scraping Google from a browser, so runs do not fail on captchas or blocks.

### What you get

- **Every image in a Google Images search**, in Google's order, 1 to 700 per search.
- **Full-size image URL** (the original file on the website) and **Google's thumbnail URL**.
- **Title, alt text, the page the image is on, the website name and domain.**
- **Related searches** Google shows for the search.
- **No double charging:** an image found by several searches is returned and charged once.

The Actor returns image links, not the image files. Check the rights of each image before you reuse it.

### Example output

A real row from "modern kitchen design" (United States):

```json
{
  "type": "image",
  "query": "modern kitchen design",
  "position": 1,
  "title": "Contemporary Designer Kitchens | Contemporary Kitchen Design Centre",
  "image_url": "https://www.kitchendesigncentre.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/sunlit-elegance-a-kitchen-designed-to-inspire.jpg",
}
```

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `searches` | What you would type into Google Images. Up to 500. |
| `location` | Country (or city) the search is made from, e.g. `United States`, `Germany`. |
| `language` | Language of the results, e.g. `English`, `German`. |
| `maxImages` | Images per search, 1 to 700. Default 20. |

### Pricing

Pay per event, no subscription:

- **$2 per 1,000 images** ($0.002 per image).
- $0.001 per search per started 100 images asked for (1-100 = $0.001, 700 = $0.007).
- $0.001 per run start.

Examples: 100 images for one search cost about $0.20. 1,000 images from 10 searches cost about $2.01.
You can cap the cost of a run with the maximum charge setting; the Actor only starts the searches the budget covers. Failed searches are never charged.
Live searches need a paid Apify plan (any plan); the pre-filled example works on the free plan.

### Good to know

- Results usually arrive in under a minute.
- Google shows fewer images for a narrow search than you may ask for.
- Use it from the API, on a schedule, in n8n/Make/Zapier, or from AI agents through MCP (`rowfeed-seo-mcp`).
