## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Jobs Scraper – Job Listings API, No Failed Runs

Get the job listings Google shows for any search and location: job title, employer, location, salary, contract type, posted date, the job board or career site it comes from, and the apply link.
Filter by date posted and job type, and turn on monitor mode to get only new jobs each run, for job alerts, job boards, recruiting research and hiring-trend analysis.
Built for job boards and aggregators, recruiters, HR and labor-market analysts, and AI agents.
The data comes through a licensed data provider (DataForSEO), not by scraping Google from a browser, so runs do not fail on captchas or blocks.

### What you get

- **Every Google Jobs listing** for your search, in Google's order, up to 200 per search.
- **Employer, job location, salary** (when the listing shows one), **contract type** and **posted date**.
- **Source and apply link**: the career site or job board the listing comes from.
- **Filters**: posted today, last 3 days, last week or last month; full-time, part-time, contractor or internship (checked against each listing's own job type, so other types are left out).
- **Monitor mode**: only jobs that earlier runs with the same search did not return.
- Any country and language Google Jobs supports.

Listing data only: no recruiter names, emails or phone numbers.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `queries` | What you would type into Google, e.g. `data analyst`, `registered nurse`, `python developer remote`. Up to 500. |
| `location` | `City,Region,Country` (e.g. `Chicago,Illinois,United States`, `London,England,United Kingdom`) or a country (`Germany`). |
| `language` | Language of the listings, e.g. `English`, `German`. |
| `maxJobsPerQuery` | 10 to 200, in steps of 10. Default 50. |
| `datePosted` | `today`, `3days`, `week` or `month`. Empty = any time. |
| `employmentTypes` | `fulltime`, `partime`, `contractor`, `intern`. |
| `onlyNew` | Monitor mode: only jobs not returned in earlier runs with the same search, location and filters. |

### Pricing

Pay per event, no subscription:

- **$2 per 1,000 jobs** ($0.002 per job row).
- $0.002 per search page (each 10 jobs requested for a search), also in monitor mode when every job was seen before.
- $0.001 per run start.

Examples: one search of 50 jobs costs about $0.11. 20 searches of 50 jobs cost about $2.20. A daily monitor of 10 searches (50 jobs each) where 5 new jobs per search turn up costs about $0.20 a day.

You can cap the cost of a run with the maximum charge setting; the Actor only starts the searches the budget covers. Failed searches are never charged.
Live searches need a paid Apify plan (any plan); the pre-filled example works on the free plan.

### Good to know

- Results come from Google's standard queue and usually arrive in seconds; big runs can take a few minutes.
- Google sometimes shows fewer jobs than asked for; you pay only for the jobs returned plus the search pages.
- Salary is shown as Google lists it (yearly, hourly or a range) and is missing when the listing has none.
- For jobs straight from company career sites (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday), see the Career Site Jobs Scraper below.
