## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## RedNote (Xiaohongshu) Scraper

Get the latest notes of RedNote (Xiaohongshu, 小红书) profiles, or single notes by link: title, caption, likes, saves, comments, shares, hashtags, images and video links, with the author's followers, likes and saves, and IP location.

**$3 per 1,000 notes.**

### What it's for

- **Creator and KOL analysis**: a creator's engagement, note by note, before you hire them.
- **Competitor tracking**: brands' and creators' new notes, on a schedule.
- **Campaign reports**: the latest numbers of every note in a campaign, from a list of links.
- **Creator lists**: followers, likes and saves, note count and IP location of many profiles at once, with `maxNotesPerProfile: 0`.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `profileUrls` | Profile URLs (`xiaohongshu.com/user/profile/…`), share links (`xhslink.com/…`) or user IDs, one per line |
| `maxNotesPerProfile` | Notes per profile, newest first with pinned notes on top (default 100; 0 returns the profiles alone) |
| `noteUrls` | Note URLs, share links or whole share texts, one per line |

Coming from another RedNote scraper? These are the input fields of the most used RedNote profile scraper on Apify, `includeNotes: false` included, and the output keeps its field names (`engagement.liked_count`, `author.red_id`…). Saved inputs and API calls keep working.

### Output

### FAQ

**Do I need a RedNote account, cookies or a Chinese proxy?**
No.

**Can it download the images and videos?**
Each row links to its images and to the video file.

**Can I search by keyword, or get a note's comments?**
Use the RedNote Search Scraper, and the RedNote Comments Scraper with note links.

**Is it legal?**
It reads only public profiles and notes. Captions, usernames and locations can be personal data under China's PIPL, the GDPR and similar laws: use them for a legitimate purpose and honor deletion requests.
