## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## TikTok Followers Scraper

Get the followers of public TikTok profiles and the accounts they follow, with each account's followers, likes, videos, bio and region.

**$0.30 per 1,000 accounts.**

### What it's for

- **Audience analysis**: who follows a creator or a brand, and how big those accounts are.
- **Influencer discovery**: the creators a profile follows, to find similar ones.
- **Competitor research**: new followers of a competitor, most recent first.
- **Data for AI agents and CRMs**: clean JSON, CSV or Excel, or straight from the API.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `profiles` | Usernames or profile URLs, one per line |
| `maxFollowersPerProfile` | Followers per profile, most recent first (default 50; 0 skips them) |
| `maxFollowingPerProfile` | Accounts each profile follows (default 50; 0 skips them) |

Coming from another TikTok scraper? These are the input and output field names of the most used TikTok followers scraper on Apify (`authorMeta`, `connectedTo`, `connectionType`). Saved inputs, API calls and integrations keep working.

### Output

One row per account:

```json
{
  "authorMeta": { "name": "khaby.lame", "nickName": "Khabane lame", "verified": true, "fans": 163000000 },
  "connectedTo": {
    "id": "7000000000000000001",
    "name": "example.user",
    "profileUrl": "https://www.tiktok.com/@example.user",
    "nickName": "Example",
    "verified": false,
    "signature": "photos and travel",
    "privateAccount": false,
    "region": "US",
    "fans": 202,
    "following": 808,
    "heart": 125,
    "video": 0,
    "digg": 394,
    "friends": 0,
    "createTime": 1791134256
  },
  "connectionType": "follower",
  "connectionDescription": "example.user follows khaby.lame",
  "input": "khaby.lame"
}
```

`authorMeta` is the profile from the input; `connectedTo` is the follower, or the account it follows when `connectionType` is `following`.

Profiles that can't be read, or that hide their lists, get a row with the reason, free of charge:

```json
{ "input": "some_private_account", "error": "Private profile" }
```

### Price

- **$0.30 per 1,000 accounts**
- **$0.002 per profile** that returns accounts
- Private, missing or hidden profiles: free

| Run | Cost |
|---|---|
| 10 profiles, 100 followers each | $0.32 |
| 100 profiles, 50 followers each | $1.70 |

A run stops at the maximum cost you set for it. On Apify's free plan, a run returns up to 100 accounts.

### FAQ

**Does it work with private profiles?**
No. Only public profiles that show their lists.

**Is it legal?**
It reads only public profiles. Usernames, bios and follower lists are personal data under GDPR and similar laws: use them for a legitimate purpose and honor deletion requests.
