## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## TikTok Hashtag Scraper

Get the top TikTok videos for any hashtag: caption, plays, likes, comments, shares, saves, author, music, mentions, subtitles and video links, with the hashtag's total views.

**$0.30 per 1,000 videos.**

### What it's for

- **Trend research**: what performs under a hashtag, its sounds and its formats.
- **Creator discovery**: who gets the views in a niche, with links to their profiles.
- **Brand and campaign monitoring**: every video under a campaign hashtag, with paid partnerships flagged in `isSponsored`.
- **Data for AI agents and dashboards**: clean JSON, CSV or Excel, or straight from the API.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `hashtags` | Hashtags with or without `#`, or `tiktok.com/tag/` URLs, one per line |
| `resultsPerPage` | Videos per hashtag (default 100) |
| `oldestPostDateUnified` | Keep only videos posted on or after a date like `2026-09-01`, or within a period like `30 days` |
| `leastDiggs` | Keep only videos with at least this many likes |

Coming from another TikTok scraper? These are the input and output field names of the most used TikTok scraper on Apify (`authorMeta`, `playCount`, `diggCount`, `webVideoUrl`…). Saved inputs, API calls and integrations keep working.

### Output

One row per video:

```json
{
  "id": "7689267674316098830",
  "text": "Day 7| Treating my dark spots 🪴 #skincare #SelfCare #ginseng #beauty #fyp",
  "createTimeISO": "2026-09-25T00:45:53.000Z",
  "webVideoUrl": "https://www.tiktok.com/@kikoiyubeauty/video/7689267674316098830",
  "isSponsored": false,
  "authorMeta": { "name": "kikoiyubeauty", "profileUrl": "https://www.tiktok.com/@kikoiyubeauty", "fans": null },
  "musicMeta": { "musicName": "original sound - kikoiyubeauty", "musicOriginal": true },
  "videoMeta": { "duration": 179.7, "coverUrl": "https://p16-common-sign.tiktokcdn-us.com/...", "downloadAddr": "https://v16m.tiktokcdn-us.com/..." },
  "playCount": 1445602,
  "diggCount": 206920,
  "commentCount": 385,
  "shareCount": 3691,
  "collectCount": 16033,
  "hashtags": [{ "id": "504245", "name": "skincare" }, { "id": "229214", "name": "SelfCare" }, { "id": "782426", "name": "ginseng" }],
  "input": "#skincare",
  "searchHashtag": { "name": "skincare", "views": 996531084959 }
}
```

TikTok leaves the authors' follower and like counts out of hashtag results, so those are `null`. The TikTok Profile Scraper gets them.

Hashtags that can't be read get a row with the reason, free of charge:

```json
{ "input": "#somemisspelledtag", "error": "No videos with this hashtag" }
```

### Price

- **$0.30 per 1,000 videos**
- **$0.002 per hashtag** that returns videos
- Missing or invalid hashtags: free

| Run | Cost |
|---|---|
| 10 hashtags, 100 videos each | $0.32 |
| 1 hashtag, 1,000 videos | $0.30 |

A run stops at the maximum cost you set for it. On Apify's free plan, a run returns up to 100 videos.

### FAQ

**Why are the videos from different years?**
TikTok ranks a hashtag's videos by popularity, not date. Set *Posted on or after* to keep only recent ones.

**Can it download the video files?**
Each row links to the video (`videoMeta.downloadAddr`), which expires after about a day, and to its cover.

**Is it legal?**
It reads only public videos. Captions and usernames can be personal data under GDPR and similar laws: use them for a legitimate purpose and honor deletion requests.
