## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## TikTok Profile Scraper

Get the videos of any public TikTok profile: caption, plays, likes, comments, shares, saves, music, hashtags, mentions, subtitles and video links, with the author's followers, total likes and bio on every row.

**$0.30 per 1,000 videos.**

### What it's for

- **Creator and competitor tracking**: every new video and its engagement, on a schedule with *Posted on or after* set to `1 day`.
- **Influencer vetting**: followers, total likes, views per video and paid partnerships (`isSponsored`) of a list of creators.
- **Content research**: captions, hashtags and sounds of what works for an account.
- **Data for AI agents and dashboards**: clean JSON, CSV or Excel, or straight from the API.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `profiles` | Usernames or profile URLs, one per line |
| `resultsPerPage` | Videos per profile, newest first (default 100) |
| `oldestPostDateUnified` | A date like `2026-09-01`, a period like `7 days`, or a number of days (`1` is today) |
| `newestPostDate` | Leave out videos posted after this date |
| `excludePinnedPosts` | Leave out pinned videos, which stay on top however old they are |
| `leastDiggs`, `mostDiggs` | Keep videos within a range of likes |

Coming from another TikTok scraper? These are the input and output field names of the most used TikTok scraper on Apify (`authorMeta`, `playCount`, `diggCount`, `webVideoUrl`…). Saved inputs, API calls and integrations keep working.

- **$0.30 per 1,000 videos**
- **$0.002 per profile** that returns videos
- Private, missing or invalid profiles: free

| Run | Cost |
|---|---|
| 100 profiles, 20 videos each | $0.80 |
| 1 profile, 1,000 videos | $0.30 |

A run stops at the maximum cost you set for it. On Apify's free plan, a run returns up to 100 videos.

### FAQ

**How far back does it go?**
As far as the profile goes. Raise *Videos per profile*, or set *Posted on or after* to stop at a date.

**Can it download the video files?**
Each row links to the video (`videoMeta.downloadAddr`), which expires after about a day, and to its cover.

**Does it work with private profiles?**
No. Only public profiles.

**Is it legal?**
It reads only public profiles and videos. Captions and usernames can be personal data under GDPR and similar laws: use them for a legitimate purpose and honor deletion requests.
