## Pricing

from $0.70 / 1,000 ad or advertisers

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Ads Transparency Scraper — Competitor Ads, Advertisers & Ad Library Data

Scrape the **Google Ads Transparency Center** (Google's public ads library) without a login or API key. Enter a **website**, an **advertiser** or a **keyword** and get every ad they run on **Google Search, YouTube, Display and Shopping**: format, first and last date shown, the countries where each ad ran, a preview image and a link to the ad.

Use it to **spy on competitor Google Ads**, track how long an ad has been running, monitor a brand's ads by country, or build a **list of businesses that advertise on Google** (a strong buying signal for agencies and SaaS sales).

### What you can scrape

- **All ads for a website** — every ad that links to `nike.com`, whoever paid for it (brand, reseller, agency).
- **All ads of an advertiser** — by advertiser ID (`AR…`) or a Transparency Center link.
- **Advertisers by keyword** — the advertisers whose name matches `dentist`, `roofing` or a brand, with legal name, country and number of ads. Turn it into a lead list of companies that pay for Google Ads.
- **Filters** — country where the ad was shown (249 countries), ad format (text, image, video) and date range.
- **Countries per ad** (optional) — every country where an ad ran, with the last date it was shown there, and the number of ad variations.

### Output

One row per ad:

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `advertiserName` | Nike Retail BV |
| `advertiserId` | AR18378488041124659201 |
| `domain` | nike.com (when you search by website) |
| `format` | `text`, `image` or `video` |
| `firstShown` / `lastShown` | 2021-10-25T… / 2026-10-29T… |
| `adUrl` | Link to the ad in the Transparency Center |
| `previewImageUrl` | PNG of the ad as Google archived it (most text ads) |
| `previewUrl` | Google's preview of the ad (image and video ads) |
| `regions` | `[{"countryCode":"GB","lastShown":"2026-10-29"}]` (with *Add countries where each ad ran*) |
| `variations` | Number of versions of the ad (with *Add countries where each ad ran*) |
| `target`, `targetType`, `region`, `adId`, `scrapedAt` | What was searched and when |

```json
{
    "adId": "CR04069710932933083137",
    "advertiserId": "AR18378488041124659201",
    "advertiserName": "Nike Retail BV",
    "domain": "nike.com",
    "format": "image",
    "firstShown": "2021-10-25T07:00:00.000Z",
    "lastShown": "2026-10-29T13:34:02.150Z",
    "adUrl": "https://adstransparency.google.com/advertiser/AR18378488041124659201/creative/CR04069710932933083137",
    "previewUrl": "https://displayads-formats.googleusercontent.com/ads/preview/content.js?...",
    "regions": [{ "countryCode": "GB", "lastShown": "2026-10-29" }],
    "variations": 3,
    "target": "nike.com",
    "targetType": "domain",
    "region": "anywhere"
}
```

In **Advertisers** mode, one row per advertiser: `advertiserName`, `legalName`, `country`, `adsCountMin`, `adsCountMax`, `transparencyUrl`, `searchQuery`, `advertiserId`.

Export as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or read it through the Apify API, webhooks, Make, Zapier or n8n.

### How to use

1. Add one or more **websites**, **advertiser IDs / links** or **search queries**.
2. Pick filters if you need them: country, format, dates.
3. Set **Max ads per website, advertiser or advertiser found** (`0` = all).
4. Run. The log shows roughly how many ads match each target (Nike: about 50,000).

#### Examples

Every ad for two competitors shown in France in October:

```json
{
    "domains": ["leroymerlin.fr", "castorama.fr"],
    "region": "FR",
    "startDate": "2026-10-01",
    "endDate": "2026-10-31",
    "maxAdsPerTarget": 500
}
```

Only YouTube / video ads of an advertiser, with the countries where they ran:

```json
{
    "advertiserIds": ["https://adstransparency.google.com/advertiser/AR18378488041124659201"],
    "adFormat": "video",
    "includeAdDetails": true
}
```

Businesses that advertise on Google for a trade (lead list):

```json
{
    "mode": "advertisers",
    "searchQueries": ["dentist", "roofing", "plumber"]
}
```

### FAQ

**Do I need a Google account, cookies or an API key?**
No. The actor reads the same public data as the Transparency Center website.

**How many ads can I get?**
All the ads the Transparency Center lists for a target. Set *Max ads* to `0` for everything; for big brands that can be tens of thousands of ads.

**Which ads are included?**
Ads from verified advertisers on Google Search, YouTube, Display, Shopping, Maps and Play, as published by Google in the Transparency Center. Google does not publish spend or impressions for commercial ads, so neither does this actor.

**How does keyword search pick advertisers?**
Like the Transparency Center search box, it matches advertiser names. In Ads mode it scrapes the matching advertisers with the most ads (*Advertisers per search query*, default 3). In Advertisers mode it lists them all.

**Is it legal?**
The actor collects data Google publishes for transparency. Use it in line with Google's terms and the laws that apply to you.

# Actor input Schema

## `mode` (type: `string`):

Ads: every ad of the domains, advertiser IDs or keywords below. Advertisers: who advertises on Google for a keyword (name, legal name, country, number of ads) — useful to build lead lists.

## `domains` (type: `array`):

Get every ad that links to these websites, whoever paid for it. Example: nike.com, booking.com.

## `advertiserIds` (type: `array`):

AR… IDs or links like https://adstransparency.google.com/advertiser/AR18378488041124659201.

## `searchQueries` (type: `array`):

Finds matching advertisers the way the Transparency Center search box does, then scrapes their ads (Ads mode) or lists them (Advertisers mode).

## `maxAdvertisersPerQuery` (type: `integer`):

How many of the best-matching advertisers to scrape for each search query.

## `region` (type: `string`):

Only ads shown in this country.

## `adFormat` (type: `string`):

Only ads of this format.

## `startDate` (type: `string`):

Only ads shown on or after this date (YYYY-MM-DD).

## `endDate` (type: `string`):

Only ads shown on or before this date (YYYY-MM-DD).

## `maxAdsPerTarget` (type: `integer`):

0 = all ads. Large brands have tens of thousands of ads; the run log shows the approximate total for each target.

## `includeAdDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Adds the list of countries where each ad was shown (with last-shown date per country) and the number of ad variations. One extra request per ad, so slower.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Apify Proxy (datacenter) is enough. Google limits requests per IP, so the actor rotates IPs automatically.
