## Pricing

from $0.70 / 1,000 products

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Coles Scraper — prices, specials, barcodes & full catalogue

Scrape **Coles** (coles.com.au), one of Australia's two biggest supermarkets: **search**, **categories**, the **weekly specials catalogue** (~8,000 deals) or the **full catalogue** (~30,000 products). Optional **product details** with **barcode (GTIN)**, **ingredients**, **nutrition** (per 100 g/mL and per serving) and **country of origin**.

### Modes

| Mode | What you get |
|---|---|
| **Search by keyword** | Products matching your keywords (milk, coffee pods, nappies…) |
| **Categories** | Any category or sub-category (Dairy, Pantry, Milk, Coffee…) — choose from the list or paste a Coles category URL |
| **All specials** | The whole weekly specials catalogue: half price, multi-buys ("2 for $10"), price drops |
| **Full catalogue** | Every category, de-duplicated |

### What you get per product

- Name, brand, size, product ID, URL, image
- **Price**, **was price**, **on special**, savings in $ and %, offer text ("1/2 Price", "Pick any 2 for $44")
- **Unit price** (per kg / L / 100 g / each)
- In stock, category, department

#### With "Include product details"

- **Barcode (GTIN/EAN)**
- **Country of origin** and origin statement ("Made in Australia from at least 90% Australian ingredients")
- **Ingredients**, allergens, dimensions, preparation & storage
- **Nutrition table**: per 100 g/mL **and** per serving, serving size, servings per pack
- Full description, lifestyle tags (vegan, gluten free…)

### Example

```json
{
  "name": "Coles Full Cream Milk 3L",
  "price": 4.95,
  "unitPriceText": "$1.65/ 1L",
  "isOnSpecial": false,
  "category": "Full Cream Milk",
  "barcode": "9300633556150",
  "servingSize": "250mL",
  "nutrition": [{ "name": "Energy (kJ)", "per100": "258 kJ", "perServing": "646 kJ" }],
  "url": "https://www.coles.com.au/product/coles-full-cream-milk-3l-8150288"
}
```

### Use cases

- **Price monitoring** and **competitor tracking** for FMCG brands and retailers
- **Weekly specials** alerts and catalogue apps
- **Product databases** with barcodes, ingredients and nutrition
- Combine with our **Woolworths & Coles Scraper** to compare both supermarkets

### Pricing

- **$1.00 per 1,000 products**
- **+ $2.00 per 1,000** with product details (optional)

Australian residential proxy is used by default (Coles blocks most datacenter IPs) — included in the price.

### FAQ

**Which store's prices?** The standard online prices shown on coles.com.au without a selected store.

**Why is nutrition missing for some products?** Coles shows nutrition only for food and drinks that provide it.

**Is it legal?** The Actor collects public product information shown to any visitor without login.
