## Pricing

from $2.10 / 1,000 products

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Idealo Scraper – Shop Offers, Lowest Price & Price Drops

Scrape **idealo**, Europe's leading price comparison site (Germany, Austria, UK, France, Italy, Spain): for each product, **every shop's offer** — price, **price with shipping**, delivery time, marketplace seller or not — plus the **lowest and highest price**, number of offers and rating. Turn on **price tracking** and each run tells you how the lowest price changed since the previous run.

### What you get

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| Product, brand, category | Apple AirPods Pro 3 — Kopfhörer |
| Lowest / highest price, currency | 207.90 / 290.95 EUR |
| Number of offers, rating | 53 offers — 4.6 (10 reviews) |
| Offers (cheapest first) | shop, price, price with shipping, delivery, marketplace flag |
| Price tracking | previousLowestPrice, priceChange, priceChangePercent, priceDropped |
| Image, product URL | ✔ |

### Input

**Product URLs or IDs** — the most reliable way to monitor prices:

```json
{ "productUrls": ["https://www.idealo.de/preisvergleich/OffersOfProduct/207671730_-airpods-pro-3-apple.html", "https://www.idealo.co.uk/compare/207671730/apple-airpods-pro-3.html"] }
```

**Search** (Germany, Austria, UK) — products of the first results page, each with its offers:

```json
{ "searchTerms": ["kaffeevollautomat", "dyson v15"], "country": "de", "maxProductsPerSearch": 20 }
```

**Daily price monitoring** — schedule it every morning:

```json
{ "productUrls": ["207671730", "202092559"], "country": "de", "trackPriceChanges": true }
```

### Countries

| Country | Product URLs | Product IDs & search |
|---|---|---|
| Germany (idealo.de) | ✅ | ✅ |
| Austria (idealo.at) | ✅ | ✅ |
| United Kingdom (idealo.co.uk) | ✅ | ✅ |
| France, Italy, Spain | ✅ | — (paste product URLs) |

### Use cases

- **Price monitoring** for retailers and brands: who sells your products and at what price.
- **Repricing**: compare your price with the cheapest shop including shipping.
- **Deal alerts**: get notified when the lowest price of a product drops.
- **Market research**: number of sellers and price spread per product.

### Pricing

**$3 per 1,000 products**, each with up to 100 shop offers included. Cheaper on paid Apify plans.

### Good to know

- Offers are listed as on idealo (cheapest first); `maxOffersPerProduct` limits how many are returned.
- idealo occasionally shows a bot-check page; the scraper retries with new IP addresses and reports a warning if a page still can't be read — it never tries to solve the check.
- Price history charts are not available; use `trackPriceChanges` to build your own history from scheduled runs.
- Only public prices are collected.

idealo product pages from any country (DE, AT, UK, FR, IT, ES), or numeric product IDs (for DE, AT, UK).

## `searchTerms` (type: `array`):

Optional (DE, AT, UK): products from the first results page, each with its offers.

## `country` (type: `string`):

Cheapest offers first, as on idealo.

## `maxProductsPerSearch` (type: `integer`):

## `trackPriceChanges` (type: `boolean`):

Monitoring: remembers each product's lowest price in your own Apify storage and adds previousLowestPrice, priceChange and priceDropped. Schedule the run daily.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Default Apify Proxy; residential is mixed in automatically when idealo shows a bot check.

  }
}
```
# Actor output Schema
