## Pricing

from $0.70 / 1,000 jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## SEEK Jobs Scraper — Australia & New Zealand, full descriptions, salary as numbers

Scrape **SEEK** (seek.com.au and seek.co.nz) job listings by keyword and location, with the **full job description** and the **salary converted to numbers** (min, max, period) — ready for analysis, job boards, recruitment and salary research.

### What you get per job

- Title, company, location, country
- **Salary**: original label + `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryPeriod` (year/hour/day…) when the ad shows a salary
- Work type (full time, part time, contract, casual) and **work arrangement** (on-site, hybrid, remote)
- Classification and sub-classification (SEEK categories)
- Listing date, teaser, bullet points, job URL
- **Full description** (text + HTML) and expiry date

### Why this scraper

| | This scraper | Others |
|---|---|---|
| Full job description | ✅ included | often extra or missing |
| Salary as numbers (min/max/period) | ✅ | text only |
| Filters: work type, remote/hybrid, posted within, min salary | ✅ | partial |
| Australia **and** New Zealand | ✅ | partial |
| Price | **$1 / 1,000 jobs** | $0.90 – $2.50 / 1,000 |

### Example

```json
{
  "jobId": "94975181",
  "title": "Commercial Analyst",
}
```

### How to use

1. Enter **keywords** (one per line) and optionally a **location**.
2. Pick **Australia** or **New Zealand**, and filters (work type, remote/hybrid, posted within, minimum salary).
3. Click **Start**. Export to JSON, CSV, Excel, or schedule daily runs to track new jobs.

### Pricing

**$1.00 per 1,000 jobs** ($0.001 per job, description included), cheaper on paid Apify plans. No platform fees on top.

### FAQ

**Why is salary empty for some jobs?** Many SEEK ads don't show a salary; we return numbers only when the ad includes one.

**Can I get only new jobs every day?** Yes — set *Posted within* to 1 day and schedule the Actor daily.
