## Pricing

from $0.22 / 1,000 jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### Glassdoor Jobs Scraper & API: Salaries and Company Ratings

Scrape **Glassdoor jobs** to Excel, CSV or JSON **without login**: every job with its pay range, full description and the employer's Glassdoor profile. What sets it apart:

- **A salary on almost every job.** The employer's posted range or Glassdoor's estimate (low, median, high), marked which is which, converted to a year.
- **All 9 employee ratings of the company on every job, at no extra cost**: work-life balance, pay and benefits, culture, career opportunities, senior management, diversity, CEO approval, recommend to a friend, business outlook. Plus size, revenue, industry, founded, website, headquarters, CEO.
- **Filter by what employees say**: only companies with work-life balance 4.0+, pay and benefits 3.5+, good culture or career growth. Glassdoor's own search filters only by the overall rating.
- **Job alerts, no reposts, no staffing agencies.** Schedule it and get only the jobs you have not seen.

```json
{ "keywords": ["data analyst"], "locations": ["Boston"], "minWorkLifeBalance": "4.0", "onlyWithSalary": true }
```

No Glassdoor account, no cookies, no browser extension. Use it as a **Glassdoor jobs API**: one call returns clean JSON with the fields above.

#### What you get

**One row per job.** Real example, September 2026 (data analyst, Boston):

| job | company | location | salary | posted by | rating | work-life | remote / hybrid |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| People Analytics Consultant | MFS | Boston, MA | $88,000 - $126,000/yr | employer | 3.9 | 3.8 | hybrid |
| Knowledge Analyst - Energy Solutions | McKinsey & Company | Boston, MA | $94,868 - $135,676/yr | Glassdoor estimate | 4.0 | 2.5 | |
| Operations Data Analyst Associate | Lockheed Martin | Chelmsford, MA | $65,500 - $121,700/yr | employer | 4.1 | 4.2 | |
| Data Analyst | Capgemini | Boston, MA | $29.12 - $45.51/hr | employer | 4.3 | 4.2 | |
| Talent Analyst Co-op - January 2027 | Wayfair | Boston, MA | $24.00/hr | employer | 3.1 | 3.3 | hybrid |

In our test of 100 US data analyst jobs (September 2026) 96 had a pay range (83 posted by the employer), 85 had the company ratings and 70 stated remote, hybrid or on-site work.

| `isNew`, `scrapedAt` | Job alerts: new since the last run |

Three table views: **Jobs**, **Salaries** (yearly low / median / high) and **Company ratings**.

#### How it works

| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Search | Each keyword in each location (or your pasted Glassdoor search links) with Glassdoor's filters: date posted, remote, job type, experience level, minimum salary, Easy Apply, company rating and size, sort by date |
| 2. Details | Every new job's full data, 10 jobs per request: description, salary, attributes and the employer's profile with ratings |
| 3. Filters | Company ratings (work-life balance, pay, culture, career), salary, staffing agencies, title words, companies. Jobs removed here are not charged |
| 4. Clean-up | The same job found by several searches appears once; reposts (same title, company and location) are skipped |
| 5. Job alerts | With **Only new jobs** on, jobs from earlier runs are skipped before their details are loaded |

Glassdoor blocks datacenter IPs, so requests go through Apify's residential proxy. Proxy traffic is included in the price.

#### Ready-made tasks

| Task | What it does |
|---|---|
| [Glassdoor Remote Jobs Scraper](https://apify.com/s_actors/glassdoor-jobs-scraper/examples/glassdoor-remote-jobs-scraper) | Remote jobs with salaries posted by the employer |
| [Glassdoor Salary Data by Job Title](https://apify.com/s_actors/glassdoor-jobs-scraper/examples/glassdoor-salary-data) | Pay ranges of a job title in a city, per year, to a spreadsheet |
| [Jobs at Companies With Good Work-Life Balance](https://apify.com/s_actors/glassdoor-jobs-scraper/examples/glassdoor-jobs-good-work-life-balance) | Only employers rated 4.0+ for work-life balance by their employees |

#### Job alerts

1. Set your search and filters, turn on **Only new jobs**, give the alert a **Monitor name**.
2. Save it as a task and add a **schedule** (every morning, with "Posted within: Past 24 hours").
3. Send the results by email, Slack, Google Sheets, Make, Zapier or **n8n** with Apify integrations.

The first run returns the current jobs; next runs return only jobs not seen before. Seen jobs are skipped before their details are loaded and are not charged.

#### FAQ

**Can I use it as a Glassdoor API?** Yes. This Actor reads the same data the Glassdoor website shows to any visitor and returns it as JSON through the Apify API.

**Is the salary real?** `salarySource` tells: `employer` is the range posted in the job (US pay-transparency laws), `glassdoor-estimate` is Glassdoor's estimate for that job from salaries reported by employees. Turn on **Only salaries posted by the employer** to keep only posted pay.

**How many jobs per search?** Glassdoor shows about 300 jobs per search, even when it counts thousands. For more, add locations (cities or states), keywords, or split by filters (job type, experience level). Jobs found twice are returned once.

**Which countries?** Any country Glassdoor lists jobs for: use a city, state or country as the location ("Germany", "London", "Toronto"). Salaries stay in the job's currency.

**How is remote work detected?** From Glassdoor's job attributes ("Remote", "Hybrid work", "In-person") and, when they are missing, from clear phrases in the title, location and description. `workplaceTypeEvidence` shows the words it used.

**Do I need a Glassdoor account?** No. Only pages any visitor can open are read.

#### Use with the API and AI agents

Run it from the Apify API, the JavaScript or Python client, **n8n**, Make or Zapier, or from AI agents through the [Apify MCP server](https://mcp.apify.com) (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor). One call: `POST https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/s_actors~glassdoor-jobs-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items` with the input above returns the jobs as JSON. Set **Job description** to "None" for smaller answers.

#### Is it legal?

The Actor reads public Glassdoor job listings that anyone can open without an account, as a visitor does. It does not log in or collect personal profiles or reviews. Use the data according to the laws that apply to you (GDPR and similar) and Glassdoor's terms.

# Actor input Schema

## `onlyNewJobs` (type: `boolean`):

Return only jobs not returned by earlier runs with the same monitor name. The first run returns the current jobs.

## `monitorName` (type: `string`):

Separate job alert lists: runs with the same name share the jobs already seen.

## `searchUrls` (type: `array`):

glassdoor.com/Job/...-SRCH\_....htm links copied from your browser, with any filters. Keyword, location and filters are taken from the link.

## `jobUrls` (type: `array`):
