## Pricing

from $0.91 / 1,000 jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### Hiring Cafe Jobs Scraper & API: Salaries and Applicants

Scrape **HiringCafe** (hiringcafe.com, formerly hiring.cafe) jobs to Excel, CSV or JSON **without login**. HiringCafe collects jobs straight from company career sites and ATS (Greenhouse, Workday, iCIMS, Lever and 40+ more), so there are no reposted ads. What sets this Actor apart:

- **How crowded each job is.** Every row has how many HiringCafe users **applied**, **viewed** and **saved** the job. Filter for **low-competition jobs**: "at most 5 applicants".
- **Salary as posted and per year.** The employer's pay range with its period (hourly, monthly, yearly) and the same range per year, ready to sort.
- **What the job asks for**, as clean fields: years of experience, degree, skills and tools, languages, certifications, clearance, visa sponsorship, benefits.
- **The employer behind the job**: size, founded, private / public / government, HQ country, funding, website, the apply link on its own career site and its ATS. Staffing agencies can be skipped.
- **Job alerts**: schedule it and get only the jobs you have not seen.

```json
{ "keywords": ["data analyst"], "locations": ["United States"], "maxApplicants": 5, "onlyWithSalary": true }
```

No HiringCafe account, no cookies, no browser extension. Use it as a **HiringCafe jobs API**: one call returns clean JSON with the fields above.

#### What you get

**One row per job.** Real example, October 2026 (data analyst, United States, newest first):

| job | company | location | salary | applicants | views | workplace | ATS |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Enforcement Analyst, Agentic Alignment | Anthropic | Boston or San Francisco or Seattle or New York | $245,000 - $285,000/yr | 1 | 2 | hybrid | Greenhouse |
| Business Systems Analyst | Anthropic | San Francisco or New York City | $270,000 - $315,000/yr | 47 | 127 | hybrid | Greenhouse |
| Principal Administrative Analyst - Finance | San Bernardino County | San Bernardino, California | $125,986 - $180,440/yr | 0 | 1 | on-site | GovernmentJobs |
| Financial Analyst | Rise Baking Company | Minneapolis, Minnesota | $85,000 - $100,000/yr | 2 | 10 | on-site | ADP |
| Senior Decision Support Analyst | Highmark Health | Pennsylvania or Kansas | $34.29 - $54.25/hr | 6 | 36 | remote | Eightfold |

In our test of 100 US data analyst jobs (October 2026) all 100 had the full description, 66 a salary listed by the employer, 96 the company size, 91 the skills, and 74 had 5 applicants or fewer on HiringCafe.

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `jobId`, `jobUrl`, `applyUrl`, `atsSource`, `title` | The job, its HiringCafe page, the apply link on the employer's career site and the ATS it comes from |
| `companyName`, `companyWebsite`, `companyId` | The employer (for agency and job-board posts, the real employer HiringCafe names; `postedBy` = who posted it) |
| `applicants`, `views`, `saves` | Applications, views and saves of the job by HiringCafe users |
| `location`, `cities`, `states`, `countries`, `otherLocations`, `latitude`, `longitude` | Where |
| `workplaceType` | `remote`, `hybrid` or `on-site` |
| `postedDate` | When the job was published |
| `salaryText`, `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryPeriod` | Pay as listed: `hour`, `week`, `month` or `year` |

| `experienceLevel`, `yearsOfExperience`, `employmentType`, `jobCategory`, `roleType` | Seniority, years required, full-time / part-time / contract / internship, category, individual contributor or manager |
| `requirementsSummary`, `skills`, `degreeRequired`, `languages`, `certifications`, `securityClearance` | What the job asks for |
| `visaSponsorship`, `benefits` | Visa sponsorship, 401(k) matching, generous PTO, parental leave, four-day week, tuition, relocation |

| `searchKeyword`, `searchLocation`, `searchUrl` | Which search found the job |
| `isNew`, `scrapedAt` | Job alerts: new since the last run |

Five table views: **Jobs**, **Low competition** (applicants, views, saves), **Salaries**, **Companies** and **Requirements**.

#### How it works

| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Search | Each keyword in each location (or your pasted HiringCafe search links) with HiringCafe's own filters: date, workplace, seniority, employment type, years of experience, salary, visa sponsorship, max applicants, sort by date or salary |
| 2. Jobs | About 100 jobs per results page, up to 250 pages per search |
| 3. Filters | Staffing agencies, title words, companies, minimum yearly salary. Jobs removed here are not charged |
| 4. Description | The full description of each kept job |
| 5. Job alerts | With **Only new jobs** on, jobs from earlier runs are skipped and not charged |

HiringCafe (Cloudflare) blocks datacenter IPs, so requests go through Apify's residential proxy. Proxy traffic is included in the price.

#### Why this Actor

| | This Actor | Typical HiringCafe scraper |
|---|---|---|
| Applicants, views, saves per job | ✅ Columns + "max applicants" filter | ❌ |
| Salary per year | ✅ As listed and per year | ⚠️ Nested hourly / weekly / monthly fields |
| Flat rows for Excel | ✅ One level, five table views | ⚠️ Nested `v5_processed_job_data` |
| Staffing agencies | ✅ Skipped on request, not charged | ❌ |
| Job alerts (only new jobs) | ✅ Built in, seen jobs not charged | ⚠️ Some |
| Filtered-out jobs | ✅ Free | ❌ Charged, or not filtered |
| Price per 1 000 jobs with descriptions | ✅ $1.14 | $1.00-3.00 |

#### Pricing

Pay per event, no subscription needed. Apify Scale and Business plans pay less:

| Event | Free and Starter plans | Scale plan | Business plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Run start | $0.001 | $0.001 | $0.001 |
| Job (with description, salary, applicants and company profile) | $0.00114 | $0.001026 | $0.000912 |

**1 000 jobs = $1.14.** Free: jobs removed by your filters, reposts, jobs already seen by a job alert. Platform usage and residential proxy are included. Set a maximum cost per run in the run options: the Actor stops there.

#### Job alerts

1. Set your search and filters, turn on **Only new jobs**, give the alert a **Monitor name**.
2. Save it as a task and add a **schedule** (every morning, with "Posted within: Past 24 hours").
3. Send the results by email, Slack, Google Sheets, Make, Zapier or **n8n** with Apify integrations.

The first run returns the current jobs; next runs return only jobs not seen before, and those are not charged.

#### FAQ

**Can I use it as a HiringCafe API?** Yes. This Actor reads the same data the website shows to any visitor and returns it as JSON through the Apify API.

**What do applicants, views and saves mean?** How many HiringCafe users clicked Apply, opened or saved the job on HiringCafe. They show how much attention a job gets, not the employer's total applicants.

**How many jobs per search?** About 100 per page, up to 250 pages (~25 000 jobs) per search. For more, split by location or filters. Jobs found twice are returned once.

**Which countries?** Any country HiringCafe covers: use a city, state or country as the location ("Germany", "London", "Toronto", "India"). A state or country also includes remote jobs open to it. Salaries stay in the job's currency.

**Can I paste my HiringCafe search?** Yes: copy the address of your search on hiringcafe.com (it contains `searchState=`) into **HiringCafe search links**. All its filters are kept.

**Do I need a HiringCafe account?** No. Only pages any visitor can open are read.

#### Use with the API and AI agents

Run it from the Apify API, the JavaScript or Python client, **n8n**, Make or Zapier, or from AI agents through the [Apify MCP server](https://mcp.apify.com) (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor). One call: `POST https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/s_actors~hiring-cafe-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items` with the input above returns the jobs as JSON. Set **Job description** to "None" for smaller answers.

#### Is it legal?

The Actor reads public HiringCafe job listings that anyone can open without an account, as a visitor does. It does not log in or collect personal data. Use the data according to the laws that apply to you (GDPR and similar) and HiringCafe's terms.
