## Pricing

from $0.23 / 1,000 comments

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### TikTok Comments Scraper: Comments & Replies Export

Export **TikTok comments and replies** from videos, **photo posts** and **profiles** to CSV, Excel or JSON: comment text, author, likes, reply count, **exact date**, **language**, **photos in comments**, **liked by creator** and **pinned**. Filter by **keyword** and **date**, and schedule **Only new comments** to get just the comments posted since the last run.

```json
{ "videos": ["https://www.tiktok.com/@charlidamelio/video/7137423965982592302"], "maxComments": 500, "includeReplies": true }
```

No TikTok login, no cookies, no browser extension. Use it as a **TikTok comments API**: one call returns clean JSON.

#### What you get

One row per comment or reply. Real example, a charli d'amelio video with 19,500 comments, October 2026:

| authorUsername | text | likeCount | replyCount | createdAt | language |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| nikocadodailynews | charli, how old is your dog? | 123 | 3 | 2022-08-29T22:24:41Z | en |
| kingusdameliio | 1m előtt?🥰 | 50 | 16 | 2022-08-29T23:18:26Z | hu |
| *ddanieleee.* | Omgg Charli, do you answer? | 38 | 2 | 2022-08-29T22:15:35Z | en |

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `text` | Full comment text with emoji |
| `authorUsername`, `authorName`, `authorId`, `authorSecUid`, `authorProfileUrl`, `authorAvatarUrl` | Commenter's @username, display name, IDs, profile link and picture |
| `likeCount`, `replyCount` | Exact likes and replies |
| `createdAt` | Exact posting time (UTC), not "2 days ago" |
| `language` | Language TikTok detected for the comment (`en`, `es`, `hu`...) |
| `likedByCreator`, `pinnedByCreator`, `isByVideoAuthor`, `labels` | Creator signals: liked or pinned by the video's author, a reply from the author, TikTok badges ("Liked by creator") |
| `imageUrls` | Photos attached to the comment (links valid for about a month: download what you need) |
| `mentions`, `hashtags` | Mentioned user IDs and hashtags in the comment |
| `isReply`, `parentCommentId`, `repliedToCommentId` | Replies follow their comment; `parentCommentId` links them |
| `position` | Place of the comment in TikTok's order (most relevant first) |
| `videoId`, `videoUrl`, `videoDescription`, `videoCreatedAt`, `videoAuthorUsername`, `videoAuthorName`, `videoPlayCount`, `videoLikeCount`, `videoShareCount`, `videoSaveCount`, `videoCommentCount`, `isPhotoPost`, `musicTitle` | The video with its stats, on every row |

#### How it works

1. Add **videos or profiles**: `tiktok.com/@user/video/...`, photo posts `/photo/...`, short links `vm.tiktok.com/...`, video IDs, `tiktok.com/@user` or `@user`
2. Set **Max comments per video** (0 = all)
3. Optional: **Include replies**, **Only comments containing** (keywords), **Newer than** (`7 days`, `24 hours`, `2026-09-01`)
4. Run, then download the dataset as CSV, Excel, JSON or HTML

| Input | What it does |
|---|---|
| **TikTok videos or profiles** | A profile gives the comments of its latest videos (**Videos per profile**, default 5, `0` = all) |
| **Max comments per video** | Top-level comments per video; replies come **on top** of this number (500 comments with up to 10 replies each = up to 5,500 rows). `0` = all |
| **Include replies**, **Max replies per comment** | Reply threads right after their comment; `0` = all replies. With filters: replies of the matching comments |
| **Newer than** | Only comments posted in a period or since a date; exact dates |
| **Only comments containing** | Keep comments that contain any of your words: brand, product, `?` for questions, a giveaway word. You pay only for matches |
| **Only new comments** | Monitoring: each scheduled run returns only new comments (see below) |
| **Creator contacts (leads)** | A table of the people who commented with email, website and social profiles, one row per account |

#### Why this Actor

| | |
|---|---|
| 📇 **Creator contacts** | Find creators and brands among the commenters of a video (yours or a competitor's): email, website, Telegram, Instagram, YouTube in one table |
| 🔔 **Only new comments** | Schedule it and get only what was posted since the previous run, new replies included |
| 🔍 **Keyword filter** | Brand mentions, product names, questions, giveaway entries; skipped comments are free |
| 📅 **Exact dates and date filter** | Posting time to the second, last 24 hours, 7 days or since a date |
| 🖼️ **Comment photos** | Links to the photos people attach to comments |
| 📌 **Creator signals** | Liked by creator, pinned, replies by the video's author |
| 🌍 **Comment language** | Split international audiences without a translation step |
| 💰 **$0.29 per 1,000 comments** | Cheaper than the popular TikTok comment scrapers, no subscription |

#### Only new comments: monitoring your videos

1. Switch on **Only new comments** and give the task a **Monitor name**
2. Save as a task and add a schedule, e.g. every hour or every morning
3. **First run** returns comments as usual and remembers the time. **Every later run** returns only comments posted since, and with **Include replies** also new replies. An empty result means no new comments

TikTok lists comments by relevance, not by date, so each run reads up to 5,000 comments per video to find the new ones. Connect Slack, email or [Google Sheets](https://apify.com/s_actors/google-sheets-import-export) with an integration to receive them. Use a different **Monitor name** for each task.

#### Creator contacts (leads)

Turn on **Creator contacts (leads)** (input section **Leads**) and every row gets the contacts of its account in the **Leads** tab of the results, plus a table of the people who commented, **one row per account** (contacts are not repeated on every row): exact followers, bio, business category, **email**, **website**, **Telegram**, **Instagram**, **YouTube**, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Twitch. The Actor opens each TikTok profile and the website or link-in-bio page (Linktree, Taplink, Beacons, Stan...) linked in it, with its contact page, and reads handles like `TG: @name` in the bio. The one-row-per-account table is in the run's **Output** tab → **Authors (CSV)** (also `AUTHORS` as JSON). Each account is looked up once per run. Real example, October 2026 (NASA video, 300 comments: 150 commenters, 15 with contacts, 3 with an email):

| username | followerCount | email | emailSource | website | instagram |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| sunshinenate | 3,124,397 | Management@sunshinenate.com | website | sunshinenate.com | |
| launchheaven | 1,350,718 | info@launchheaven.com | bio | launchheaven.com | instagram.com/launchheaven |
| maxotter | 4,431 | maxotterproductions@gmail.com | bio | maxotter.com | instagram.com/maxotter |

**Max accounts for contacts** (default 500) takes the most frequent accounts first; `0` = all. Accounts without any contact are listed for free.

#### Pricing

Pay per result, no subscription needed. Apify Scale and Business plans pay less:

| Event | Free and Starter plans | Scale plan | Business plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Run start | $0.001 | $0.001 | $0.001 |
| Comment or reply in the results | $0.00029 | $0.000261 | $0.000232 |
| Account with contacts, no email (Creator contacts) | $0.0005 | $0.00045 | $0.0004 |
| Account with an email (Creator contacts) | $0.00399 | $0.00359 | $0.00319 |

| Task | Cost |
|---|---|
| 1,000 comments of one video | ~$0.29 |
| 100 comments on each of a profile's 5 latest videos | ~$0.15 |
| Only new comments on 3 videos, hourly for a month, ~20 new a day | ~$1.25 per month |

Comments removed by your keyword or date filters are not charged.

#### Ready-made tasks

Open it, change the videos, and run:

| Task | What you get |
|---|---|
| [Export TikTok Comments to Excel or CSV](https://apify.com/s_actors/tiktok-comments-scraper/examples/export-tiktok-comments) | The top 500 comments of a video with replies in a spreadsheet |

#### FAQ

**Can it get all comments of a video?** Yes, set **Max comments per video** to `0`. A video with 20,000 comments takes about two minutes. The counter under the video also counts replies and comments TikTok hides from every visitor (filtered, held for review or deleted), so turn on **Include replies** to get closest to it.

**Can I pick a giveaway winner?** Yes: export all comments (and replies) of the giveaway video, optionally with **Only comments containing** set to the required word or tag, then draw from the rows. `authorUsername` lets you remove duplicate entries.

**Does it sort by newest?** TikTok itself shows comments only in its relevance order. Use **Newer than** for recent comments or **Only new comments** for monitoring: both work on exact posting times.

**Does it work with photo posts and short links?** Yes: `/photo/` posts, `vm.tiktok.com` and `tiktok.com/t/` links work like videos.

**How many videos of a profile?** All of them: set **Videos per profile** to `0` for every video of the profile, or a number for the latest ones (newest first).

**Do I need a TikTok account or cookies?** No. The Actor reads public comments the way the TikTok website does for a visitor.

#### Use with the API and AI agents

#### Is it legal?

The Actor collects only public comments that TikTok shows to any visitor, without logging in. Comments contain names and usernames of their authors: use the data in line with GDPR and other privacy laws, for example for aggregated analysis, and do not use it for spam.

# Actor input Schema

## `videos` (type: `array`):

One per line: video or photo post links (tiktok.com/@user/video/..., /photo/...), short links (vm.tiktok.com/..., tiktok.com/t/...), video IDs, or profiles (tiktok.com/@user or @user). A profile gives the comments of its latest videos (see Videos per profile).

## `maxComments` (type: `integer`):

Top-level comments to return per video. Replies come on top of this number (with Include replies, up to Max replies per comment each): 500 comments with 10 replies each can give up to 5,500 rows. 0 = all comments TikTok shows for the video. In only-new mode: the maximum number of new comments per video.

## `includeReplies` (type: `boolean`):

Also return the replies to each comment, right after it (isReply = true, parentCommentId = the comment). With keyword or date filters: the replies of the matching comments that match the filters too.

## `maxRepliesPerComment` (type: `integer`):

With Include replies: how many replies to return per comment. 0 = all replies. A cap keeps one viral thread from taking the whole run.

## `maxVideosPerProfile` (type: `integer`):

Used only when you add a profile (tiktok.com/@user or @user): how many of its latest videos to scrape comments from, newest first. 0 = all videos of the profile. Video links are not affected.

## `newerThan` (type: `string`):

Only comments posted in this period, e.g. 24 hours, 7 days, 2 weeks, 1 month, or a date like 2026-09-01. Dates are exact (TikTok gives the posting time). TikTok lists comments by popularity, not by date, so with a limit the Actor reads up to 20 times Max comments per video (at least 2,000) to find them.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only comments (and replies) that contain at least one of these words or phrases, not case-sensitive: your brand, a product, a question, a giveaway code. You pay only for the comments returned. With a filter the Actor reads up to 20 times Max comments per video (at least 2,000).

## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):

For scheduled runs (save the input as a task and add a schedule). The first run returns comments as usual and remembers the time; every later run returns only comments and replies posted since the previous run (up to 5,000 comments read per video). An empty result means no new comments.

## `monitorName` (type: `string`):

Name of the memory used by Only new comments. Use a different name for each task, otherwise two tasks share what they have already seen.

## `findLeads` (type: `boolean`):

Open the TikTok profile of each of the people who commented and the website or link-in-bio page (Linktree, Taplink, Beacons...) linked in it, and add to every row exact followers, bio, business category, email, website, Telegram, Instagram, YouTube, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Twitch. See the Leads tab of the results; one row per account: Output tab → Authors (CSV). Charged per account with contacts (more with an email, see Pricing); accounts without any contact are listed for free. Contacts are not repeated on every row.

## `maxLeads` (type: `integer`):

At most this many accounts get contacts, the most frequent commenters first. 0 = all accounts of the run.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many requests to TikTok run at the same time.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Requests go direct first and switch to Apify datacenter proxies (then residential) when TikTok refuses them. The default works for most runs.

## `debugLog` (type: `boolean`):

Log every retried request (for troubleshooting).
