## Pricing

from $0.64 / 1,000 jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### XING Jobs Scraper & API: Salaries, English Jobs, Germany, Austria, Switzerland

Scrape **XING jobs** in Germany, Austria and Switzerland to Excel, CSV or JSON **without login**, with a **salary on most jobs**. What sets it apart:

- **Salary on 84 of 100 jobs, per year.** XING shows the employer's range or its own estimate (min, max and median); this Actor converts monthly and hourly pay to a year (`salaryYearlyMin`, `salaryYearlyMax`) and tells you which one it is (`salaryIsEstimate`). Filter by **minimum yearly salary** or keep **only employer-stated salaries**.
- **English-speaking jobs in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.** XING has no language filter, but it marks the language of every ad: choose **English only** and get the jobs posted in English (20 of 100 in our test, 12 of 20 for "software engineer" in Zürich).
- **More than 1,000 jobs per search.** XING stops every search at 1,000 results. Ask for more and the Actor repeats the search per workplace type, employment type and career level and merges the results without duplicates (1,500 "Vertrieb" jobs in one run in our test).
- **Full description at no extra cost**, company size and industry, remote / hybrid / on-site, career level, discipline, apply link (company careers site or XING).
- **Title must contain the keyword.** XING's search is "semantic": "data analyst" also brings "Growth Analyst" and "Sales Planner". One switch keeps only real matches.
- **Job alerts, no reposts.** Schedule it and get only the jobs you have not seen.

```json
{ "keywords": ["software engineer"], "locations": ["München"], "language": "en", "minYearlySalary": 60000 }
```

No XING account, no cookies. Use it as a **XING jobs API**: one call returns clean JSON with the fields above.

#### What you get

**One row per job.** Real examples, September 2026:

| job | company | city | salary per year | remote | language |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Data Analyst (m/w/d) | ThePioneer | Berlin | €46,000 - €60,500 (XING estimate) | on-site | German |
| Senior Projektmanager:in IPA | Behörde für Stadtentwicklung und Wohnen | Hamburg | €57,108 - €64,392 (employer) | hybrid | German |
| Sr. Projektmanager (m/w/d) | Cobalt Deutschland | Hamburg | €73,000 - €96,500 (XING estimate) | on-site | German |
| Technischer Softwareentwickler (m/w/d) | Amadeus Fire AG | München | €55,000 - €62,000 (employer) | on-site | German |
| Software Engineer (m/w/d) | ROCKEN | Zürich | CHF 91,000 - CHF 107,500 (XING estimate) | hybrid | German |
| Staff Data Analyst (m/f/d) | Redcare Pharmacy | Berlin | | on-site | English |

In our test of 100 jobs (data analyst Berlin, Softwareentwickler München, Projektmanager Hamburg, Buchhalter Köln, software engineer Zürich) **84 had a salary** (68 XING estimates, 16 stated by the employer), 72 the company size, 20 were posted in English and 47 were hybrid or remote.

| `salaryYearlyMin`, `salaryYearlyMax` | Pay converted to a year |
| `salarySource`, `salaryIsEstimate` | `employer` (stated in the job) or `xing-estimate` (XING's estimate for this job) |
| `language` | Language of the ad: `en` or `de` |
| `employmentType`, `experienceLevel`, `discipline`, `industries` | Full-time, part-time, freelance, student…; career level; XING's categories |

| `searchKeyword`, `searchLocation`, `searchUrl`, `isNew`, `scrapedAt` | Which search found the job; job alerts |

Four table views: **Jobs**, **Salaries**, **Companies** and **Language & location**.

#### How it works

| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Search | Each keyword in each location (or your pasted XING search links), 20 jobs a request, up to XING's 1,000 per search |
| 2. Past 1,000 | If you ask for more and XING has more, the search is repeated per workplace type, then employment type, then career level |
| 3. Filters | XING's own filters (date, remote / hybrid, employment type, career level, radius), then ours: language, country, title words, salary, companies. Jobs removed here are not charged |
| 4. Clean-up | The same job found by several searches appears once; reposts (same title, company and city) are skipped |
| 5. Job alerts | With **Only new jobs** on, jobs from earlier runs are skipped and not charged |

#### Pricing

Pay per event, no subscription needed. Apify Scale and Business plans pay less:

| Event | Free and Starter plans | Scale plan | Business plan |

#### Ready-made tasks

| Task | What it does |
|---|---|
| [XING Jobs With Salaries: Data Analyst Jobs in Germany](https://apify.com/s_actors/xing-jobs-scraper/examples/xing-jobs-with-salary) | Data analyst jobs in Germany with salary per year |
| [English-Speaking Jobs in Germany From XING](https://apify.com/s_actors/xing-jobs-scraper/examples/xing-english-speaking-jobs-germany) | Jobs posted in English, for expats and English speakers |
| [XING Remote Jobs in Germany (Home Office)](https://apify.com/s_actors/xing-jobs-scraper/examples/xing-remote-jobs-germany) | Fully remote jobs in Germany with salaries |

#### Job alerts

1. Set your keywords, locations and filters, turn on **Only new jobs**, give the alert a name.
2. Save it as a task and add a **schedule** (every morning, with "Posted within: Past 24 hours").
3. Send the results by email, Slack, Google Sheets, Make, Zapier or **n8n** with Apify integrations.

The first run returns the current jobs; next runs return only jobs not seen before.

#### FAQ

**Where does the salary come from?** Either the employer states it in the job (`salarySource: employer`) or XING shows its own estimate for the job, with a median (`xing-estimate`, `salaryIsEstimate: true`). XING gives the numbers without a period; employer ranges are sometimes per month (for example 4,200-5,600), the Actor recognises them by size and converts them to a year.

**How do I get only English-speaking jobs?** Set **Job ad language: English only**. Every row also has `language`, so you can split the results yourself.

**How many jobs per search?** XING serves at most 1,000 per search. Set **Max jobs per search** higher (up to 10,000) and leave **Go past 1,000 jobs per search** on: the search is split by XING's own filters and merged without duplicates.

**Which keywords and locations work?** Anything you type into XING: job titles in German or English ("Softwareentwickler", "data analyst"), skills ("SAP", "Python"), company names; cities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland ("Berlin", "Wien", "Zürich"). Or paste a XING search link.

**Do I need a XING account?** No. Only jobs any visitor can open are read. Member profiles are not collected.

#### Use with the API and AI agents

Run it from the Apify API, the JavaScript or Python client, **n8n**, Make or Zapier, or from AI agents through the [Apify MCP server](https://mcp.apify.com) (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor). One call: `POST https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/s_actors~xing-jobs-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items` with the input above returns the jobs as JSON. Set **Description** to "None" for smaller answers.

#### Other job tools

| Actor | What it does |
|---|---|
| [StepStone Jobs Scraper](https://apify.com/s_actors/stepstone-jobs-scraper) | StepStone.de and .at jobs with salary estimates for most jobs, exact matches only, English jobs in Germany |

#### Is it legal?

The Actor reads public XING job listings that anyone can open without an account, as a visitor does. It does not log in or collect member profiles. Use the data according to the laws that apply to you (GDPR and similar) and XING's terms.
