## Pricing

from $0.35 / 1,000 videos

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### YouTube Channel Scraper: Stats, Videos & Subscriber History

Scrape **YouTube channels** in bulk: subscribers, **exact total views**, video count, join date, country, links, **upload frequency** and **median views of the latest videos**, plus the channel's **videos, Shorts and live streams** with exact views, likes, comments and dates. Run it on a schedule and every channel row shows its **growth since the last run**: subscribers, views and new videos.

```json
{ "channels": ["@MrBeast", "@mkbhd", "https://www.youtube.com/@veritasium"], "maxVideos": 10 }
```

No YouTube API key, no quota, no login. Use it as a **YouTube channel API**: one call returns clean JSON.

#### What you get

**One row per channel.** Real example, September 2026:

| channel | subscribers | total views | videos | joined | country | median views (last 10) | uploads / week |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| MrBeast | 518M | 141,012,089,272 | 1,004 | 2012-02-19 | United States | 111,500,000 | 0.58 |
| Marques Brownlee | 21.3M | 5,705,526,352 | 1,853 | 2008-03-21 | United States | 5,900,000 | 1.4 |
| Veritasium | 21.3M | 4,604,129,961 | 536 | 2010-07-21 | United States | 6,350,000 | 0.64 |
| Lofi Girl | 15.8M | 2,691,176,684 | 460 | 2015-03-18 | France | 273,500 | 0.78 |

| Channel field | Description |
|---|---|
| `subscribers`, `subscribersText` | Subscribers as YouTube shows them (518M) |
| `totalViews`, `videosCount`, `viewsPerVideo` | Exact lifetime views of the channel, number of videos, average per video |
| `joinedDate`, `country`, `description`, `keywords` | From the channel's About panel |
| `links`, `hasBusinessEmail` | Website and social links; whether the channel lists a business email (YouTube shows it only after a captcha) |
| `recentVideosAvgViews`, `recentVideosMedianViews` | Views of the 10 latest videos: what a new upload gets now |
| `videosLast30Days`, `uploadsPerWeek`, `lastUploadText`, `lastUploadDaysAgo` | How active the channel is |
| `subscribersChange`, `totalViewsChange`, `videosCountChange`, `viewsPerDaySinceLastCheck`, `previousCheckAt` | Growth since the previous run |
| `history` | The last 30 checks: date, subscribers, total views, videos, ready for a chart |
| `isVerified`, `avatar`, `banner`, `channelId`, `channelHandle`, `channelUrl` | Profile |

**Then one row per video** (`type: video`): `title`, `contentType` (video, short, stream), `views`, `likes`, `comments`, `engagementRate`, `publishedDate`, `durationSeconds`, `description`, `url`, `thumbnail`, `position` and the channel.

#### How it works

1. Add channels: `@handle`, `youtube.com/@handle`, `/channel/UC...`, a channel ID or any video link of the channel
2. Set **Max videos per channel** (0 = only the channel rows), **Content** (videos, Shorts, streams or all) and **Videos order**
3. Run, then download as JSON, CSV or Excel, or call it as an API. The dataset has two views: **Channels** and **Videos**

| Input | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Videos order** | Newest, most popular or oldest first, as on the channel's tabs |
| **Newer than** | `7 days`, `6 months` or a date: only recent uploads |
| **Exact video stats** | Exact views, likes, comments and date for each video (on by default); off for fast lists of thousands of videos |
| **Track subscriber and view history** | Growth since the last run and the last 30 checks in every channel row (on by default) |
| **Only new videos** | Monitoring: later runs return only new uploads |

#### Why this Actor

| | |
|---|---|
| 📈 **Growth history** | Subscribers, views and videos gained since the last run, views per day, last 30 checks: a Social Blade-style tracker for your list of channels |
| 🔢 **Exact total views** | Lifetime views to the last digit, not "141B" |
| 📊 **Channel health at a glance** | Median views of the latest videos, uploads per week, days since the last upload |
| 🔗 **Links and contact flag** | Social and website links, and whether a business email is listed |
| 🎞️ **Videos, Shorts and streams** | Any tab, any order, with exact stats |
| 💰 **$2 per 1,000 channels, $0.80 per 1,000 videos** | Channel-only runs for large lists; the popular channel scrapers charge $1.30+ per row |

#### Track channel growth

1. Add the channels you follow (yours, competitors, creators you consider for a campaign), set **Max videos per channel** to 0
2. Save as a task and schedule it daily
3. Every run adds a point to each channel's history; the rows show `subscribersChange`, `totalViewsChange`, `viewsPerDaySinceLastCheck` and `history`

Add **Only new videos** and a video limit to also get each new upload. Send the rows to [Google Sheets](https://apify.com/s_actors/google-sheets-import-export) for a live dashboard.

#### Pricing

Pay per result, no subscription needed. Apify Scale and Business plans pay less:

| Event | Free and Starter plans | Scale plan | Business plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Run start | $0.001 | $0.001 | $0.001 |
| Channel (one channel row) | $0.002 | $0.0018 | $0.0016 |
| Video (one video, Short or stream row) | $0.0008 | $0.00062 | $0.00035 |

| Task | Cost |
|---|---|
| Stats of 100 channels | $0.20 |
| A channel and its 50 latest videos | $0.043 |
| Daily growth of 20 channels for a month | ~$1.23 per month |

Videos skipped by **Newer than** or already seen in **Only new videos** are not charged.

#### Ready-made tasks

Open one, change the channels, and run:

| Task | What you get |
|---|---|
| [YouTube Channel Stats Checker: Subscribers, Views, Videos](https://apify.com/s_actors/youtube-channel-scraper/examples/youtube-channel-stats) | Stats of any channels |
| [Export All Videos of a YouTube Channel to CSV](https://apify.com/s_actors/youtube-channel-scraper/examples/youtube-channel-videos-list) | A channel's full video list |
| [YouTube Subscriber Count Tracker: Growth History](https://apify.com/s_actors/youtube-channel-scraper/examples/youtube-subscriber-count-tracker) | Daily subscriber and view growth |

#### FAQ

**Why are subscribers rounded?** YouTube itself shows only rounded subscriber counts (518M, 21.3M) to everyone, including its API. Total views are exact.

**How does the history work?** The Actor stores each channel's numbers in your Apify account (key-value store `youtube-channel-history`) at every run of any task, and compares with the previous point. The first run has no change yet.

**Can it get the business email?** No. YouTube shows it only to signed-in users after a captcha; `hasBusinessEmail` tells you it exists, and `links` often has the contact site.

**How many videos per channel?** All of them: the channel tabs list every public video, Short and stream.

#### Use with the API and AI agents

Run it via the [Apify API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2) from Python, Node.js or any HTTP client, or connect it to Claude, ChatGPT and other AI agents through the [Apify MCP server](https://mcp.apify.com): "Compare @mkbhd and @LinusTechTips: which one grows faster and how often do they upload?"

#### Other YouTube tools

| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| [YouTube Comments Scraper](https://apify.com/s_actors/youtube-comments-scraper) | Comments and replies of videos, Shorts and channels, only-new monitoring |
| [YouTube SEO & Rank Tracker](https://apify.com/s_actors/youtube-seo-rank-tracker) | Searches a video ranks for, keyword rankings, tags, suggestions |
| [Google Sheets Import & Export](https://apify.com/s_actors/google-sheets-import-export) | Send the results to a Google Sheet |

#### Is it legal?

The Actor reads only public data that YouTube shows to any visitor, without logging in, and does not download videos or personal contact data. Use it for research, analytics and monitoring.

# Actor input Schema

## `channels` (type: `array`):

One per line: channel links (youtube.com/@handle, /channel/UC...), @handles, channel IDs or a link to any video of the channel. One channel row each, then its videos.

## `maxVideos` (type: `integer`):

How many videos to return per channel and content type. 0 = only the channel row (stats, links, history), the fastest and cheapest way to check many channels.

## `contentType` (type: `string`):

Which tab of the channel to read. All = up to Max videos of each.

## `videosSort` (type: `string`):

As on the channel's tabs. Most popular = the channel's most viewed videos of all time.

## `newerThan` (type: `string`):

Only videos published in this period, e.g. 7 days, 2 weeks, 6 months, or a date like 2026-01-01. With Newest first the scan stops at the first older video.

## `videoDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Open every video for its exact views, likes, comment count, exact publish date and full description. Off: the channel page data only (rounded views like 77M, relative dates), faster for thousands of videos. Same price.

## `trackHistory` (type: `boolean`):

Remember each channel's subscribers, total views and video count on every run and add the change since the previous run (subscribersChange, totalViewsChange, viewsPerDaySinceLastCheck) and the last 30 checks (history). Schedule the task daily for a growth chart.

## `onlyNewVideos` (type: `boolean`):

For scheduled runs. The first run returns the latest videos and remembers them; later runs return only videos uploaded since (the channel rows with their growth still come every run).

## `monitorName` (type: `string`):

Name of the memory used by Only new videos. Use a different name for each task.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many requests to YouTube run at the same time.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Requests go direct first and switch to Apify datacenter proxies when YouTube refuses them. The default works for most runs.
