## Changelog

### 1.0 (2026-10-24)

- First release: U.S. bank structure changes from the FDIC BankFind Suite API (history, institutions and failures): mergers and acquisitions, new charters, failures, name changes, charter changes, and branch openings, closings, sales and relocations. Three modes (latest, new since last run with a named cursor, date range), event-type, state, FDIC-certificate and minimum-asset filters, RSSD/charter-class/asset enrichment for the institution, acquirer and target, and failure details. Charged per returned event; filtered-out records, already-returned events, merger mirror records and failed runs are free.

#### Review fixes (2026-10-25, before first publish)

- New since last run: the row that reaches the run's max cost is saved to the cursor (it was charged, so it is never returned again); the cursor is also saved when a run is aborted and every 100 rows.
- `eventId` is always built from FDIC's transaction number, change code, office number, date and certificate (never the undocumented `ID` field).
- A branch sale booked on both banks (purchased and sold, same transaction and office) is one row, charged once, with the buyer in `acquirer*` and the seller in `target*`.
- A 403/429 from FDIC during the RSSD/assets lookup, on the failures list or on a later history page stops all further requests but keeps and delivers the rows already read; the failures list is now read after the history pages.
- Certificate watchlists over 40 are matched after download instead of in the request URL.
- The state filter sent to FDIC also matches a relocation's old state.
