## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Maps Leads Scraper – Emails & Phones

Turn any Google Maps search into a lead list: business name, phone, website,
**emails found on the business website**, address, rating, review count, opening
hours and the Google Maps link. Works in any country.

### What you get

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| title | Jivino Enoteca - Bielefeld |
| phone | +495215609530 |
| email / emails | reservierung@jivino-enoteca.de |
| website | https://jivino.de/ |
| address | Obernstraße 51, 33602 Bielefeld, Germany |
| rating / reviewsCount | 4.9 / 1246 |
| category | Mediterranean restaurant |
| openingHours | Monday, 5 PM to 12 AM |
| url | Google Maps link |

Download as Excel, CSV or JSON, or connect via API, Zapier or Make.

### How to use

1. Enter **search terms** ("restaurants", "dentists") and **locations** ("Riyadh, Saudi Arabia").
Every term is searched in every location.
2. Set **Max places per search**.
3. Start. The same business found by two searches is saved (and charged) once.

### Pricing

Pay only for results:

- per place saved
- per place where an email was found (only if you leave "Find emails" on)

Set a maximum cost per run in the run options; the Actor stops cleanly when it is reached.

### Why are review counts sometimes empty?

Google Maps hides review counts from headless browsers. Keep "Use a full browser" on
(the default) to get them.

### FAQ

**A run says "Google Maps returned no results for any search".** Google sometimes blocks
datacenter IPs. Wait a little and re-run, or use your own proxies in the Proxy setting.

**Is scraping Google Maps legal?** This Actor collects publicly listed business data.
You are responsible for how you use it, including data-protection rules such as GDPR
when you contact businesses by email.

**Does it send emails?** No. It only collects data.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchTerms` (type: `array`):

What to look for on Google Maps, e.g. "restaurants" or "dentists". Each term is searched in every location below.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Cities or areas, e.g. "Riyadh, Saudi Arabia". Leave empty to search the terms exactly as written.

## `queries` (type: `array`):

Extra Google Maps searches used exactly as written, e.g. "coffee shops near King Road, Jeddah".

## `maxResultsPerSearch` (type: `integer`):

Stop each search after this many saved places. 0 = everything Google Maps lists for the search (often around 120).

## `scrapeEmails` (type: `boolean`):

Open each business website (and its contact page) to find email addresses. You are charged per place where an email is found.

## `onlyWithPhone` (type: `boolean`):

Skip places that have no phone number on Google Maps.

## `onlyWithWebsite` (type: `boolean`):

Skip places that have no website on Google Maps.

## `minRating` (type: `string`):

Skip places rated below this.

## `concurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many searches run at once. Each needs about 2 GB of memory.

## `headful` (type: `boolean`):

Recommended. Google Maps hides review counts from headless browsers.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

The default Apify datacenter proxy works for most searches. You can also use your own proxies. The Apify RESIDENTIAL group is not supported.
