## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Pitch Radar — Find local businesses missing booking, chat or CRM

**Give it a list of business websites. Get back who is missing online booking, live chat, CRM, newsletter or a contact form — with the evidence, a recommended service to pitch, and a 0-100 buying-signal score.**

Built for agencies that sell *to* small businesses: web and SEO agencies, automation (n8n/Make) and AI consultants, CRM integrators, MSPs. Instead of a raw tech-stack dump, every row is a prospect with a reason to contact them.

> Works with any country. Strongest on Spanish-speaking small businesses (clinics, restaurants, workshops, law firms, salons, gyms): it recognises local booking tools such as TheFork/ElTenedor, Doctoralia, Treatwell, Booksy, Fresha, Agora, CoverManager and SimplyBook.me.

### What you get per website

```json
{
  "companyName": "Clínica Ejemplo",
  "domain": "clinicaejemplo.es",
  "sector": "clinica-dental",
  "cms": "WordPress",
  "technologies": ["Google Analytics"],
  "hasOnlineBooking": false,
  "hasLiveChat": false,
  "hasWhatsapp": true,
  "hasContactForm": true,
  "hasCrmSignals": false,
  "hasNewsletter": false,
  "businessEmails": ["info@clinicaejemplo.es"],
  "automationOpportunities": ["Online appointment booking", "CRM / lead follow-up workflow"],
  "recommendedOffer": "Booking and reminder automation",
  "buyingSignalScore": 65,
  "confidence": 0.9,
  "evidence": [{ "signal": "No online appointment booking detected" }],
  "renderedWithBrowser": false,
  "error": null,
  "checkedAt": "2026-10-03T10:00:00Z"
}
```

### How to use it

1. **Paste domains**, or point it at an existing dataset (for example the output of a Google Maps scraper) with `datasetId`. It reads the `website`, `url` or `domain` field of each item.
2. Run. About 3 seconds per website on average.
3. Sort by `buyingSignalScore`, filter by `sector`, export to CSV/Excel, or call it from n8n, Make, Zapier or the API.

A ready-to-read HTML report (`REPORT.html`, leads ranked by score) is also saved in the run's key-value store.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `domains` | List of domains or URLs to analyse |
| `datasetId` | Pull domains from an existing Apify dataset |
| `maxDomains` | Cap on websites per run (default 100) |
| `cacheTtlHours` | Re-use results for domains analysed recently (default 24, `0` disables) |
| `enableBrowserFallback` | Re-render near-empty, JavaScript-only pages with Chromium (default on) |
| `country`, `language` | Passed through to the output, not used for filtering |

### What it detects

- **Business sector** (keyword based: dental/health clinic, law, restaurant, workshop, salon, gym, real estate, IT, online shop)
- **CMS**: WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow
- **Booking**: Calendly, Acuity, TheFork, Doctoralia, Treatwell, Booksy, Fresha, Resengo, Bookeo, Agora, CoverManager, SimplyBook.me
- **Live chat**: Intercom, Drift, Tawk.to, Crisp
- **CRM and forms**: HubSpot, Salesforce, contact forms
- **Newsletter**: Mailchimp
- **Ecommerce**: WooCommerce, Stripe
- **WhatsApp** links and **published business emails** (own-domain and role addresses like `info@` first)

### Pricing

Pay per result: you are charged for each website that was actually analysed. Websites that fail to load are returned as one row with `error` set and every signal `unknown`, and are **not charged**. The run summary is in the `OUTPUT` record, not in the dataset. See the pricing panel on this page for the current rate.

### Honest limits

- Detection is rule-based on the page's public HTML, not an AI guess. A signal that cannot be determined is returned as `"unknown"`, never as `false`: a missing feature is only reported when there is evidence of its absence.
- Only the homepage and one detected contact page are analysed, not the whole site.
- Chat widgets or booking tools that load only after a user interaction, or sit behind bot protection, can be missed. In real tests on 50 Spanish small-business sites, about 6% of domains failed to load (expired certificates, DNS errors).
- The sector label is a keyword heuristic and can be empty or wrong on sites with little text.
- `recommendedOffer` and the score are deterministic rules, not AI.
- Only publicly published business contact details are collected, no personal data. You are responsible for complying with GDPR and local marketing-email rules (in the EU, LSSI/ePrivacy) when you contact the businesses.

### Feedback

Missing a booking tool or sector for your market? Open an issue from the Actor page and say which website it should have detected: those reports drive what gets added next.

# Actor input Schema

## `domains` (type: `array`):

Business websites to analyse, one per line. Domains (example.com) or full URLs both work. Duplicates are removed.

## `datasetId` (type: `string`):

E.g. the output dataset of a Google Maps Scraper run. Looks for a website/url/domain field on each item.

## `maxDomains` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of websites to process in one run. Extra domains are ignored.

## `cacheTtlHours` (type: `integer`):

Domains analyzed within this window are returned from the named store 'lead-cache' instead of being re-fetched.

## `enableBrowserFallback` (type: `boolean`):

When the static HTML has almost no text, re-fetch it with Chromium (slower, more compute).

## `country` (type: `string`):

Optional country code (e.g. ES). Copied to every output row; it does not filter anything.

## `language` (type: `string`):

Optional language code (e.g. es). Copied to every output row; it does not filter anything.

## Actor input object example

{
  "domains": [
    "example.com"
  ],
  "maxDomains": 100,
  "cacheTtlHours": 24,
  "enableBrowserFallback": true
}
```
# Actor output Schema
## `leads` (type: `string`):
One row per website: detected tools, what is missing, recommended offer and buying-signal score.
## `report` (type: `string`):
Readable report with the leads ranked by score.
## `summary` (type: `string`):
Totals, cache hits, browser renders and run metrics.
