## Pricing

Pay per event

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## foundit Job Scraper (India, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia)

Scrapes job listings from [foundit](https://www.foundit.in), formerly Monster India, and its sister sites foundit.sg, foundit.my and foundit.id. It returns the title, company, city, salary, experience range, skills, posting date and, optionally, the full job description.

### What you can do

- Search by one or more keywords, and optionally by one or more cities.
- Pick the country site: India, Singapore, Malaysia or Indonesia.
- Get the newest jobs first (`sortBy: newest`, the default), or sort by relevance.
- Keep only recent postings with `postedWithinDays` (1 = last 24 hours, 7 = last week).
- Switch on `includeJobDetails` to add the full description (HTML, Markdown and plain text), state, company address, view count and the complete skills list.
- Run it on a schedule with `newest` plus `postedWithinDays` to collect only fresh jobs.

### Input

| Field | Meaning | Default |
|-------|---------|---------|
| `searchQueries` | Keywords, one search each | demo search ("software engineer", 5 jobs) |
| `location` | Cities or regions, each searched for every keyword | whole country |
| `country` | `in`, `sg`, `my` or `id` | `in` |
| `sortBy` | `newest` or `relevance` | `newest` |
| `postedWithinDays` | Only jobs posted in the last N days, 0 = no filter | 0 |
| `maxResultsPerQuery` | Cap per keyword and location | 10 |
| `maxResults` | Cap across all searches, 0 = no total cap | 0 |
| `includeJobDetails` | Add description and detail fields (one extra request per job) | false |

An empty input (`{}`) runs a small demo search so you can see the output format.

Example:

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["data analyst", "accountant"],
  "location": ["Mumbai"],
  "country": "in",
  "sortBy": "newest",
  "postedWithinDays": 7,
  "maxResultsPerQuery": 50
}
```

### Output

One row per job. Main fields:

- `id`, `site_job_id` (the Job ID shown on the page), `title`, `job_url`, `source_platform`
- `company_name`, `company_logo_url`, `company_profile_url`
- `location`, `city`, `state`, `country`
- `posted_at_datetime`, `posted_at_text`, `first_posted_at`, `expires_at`
- `employment_type`, `job_types` (for example "Permanent Job"; needs `includeJobDetails`), `remote`
- `experience_min_years`, `experience_max_years`, `experience_text`
- `salary_min`, `salary_max`, `salary_currency`, `salary_period`, `salary_text` (yearly amounts, empty when the employer hides the salary)
- `industry`, `functions`, `roles`, `skills`, `applicants_count`, `apply_url`
- With `includeJobDetails`: `description_html`, `description_md`, `description_full`, `state`, `company_address`, `views_count`
- `search_query`, `scraped_at`

Many foundit employers do not publish a salary, so the salary fields are empty for most rows. That is a property of the site, not of the scraper.

### Pricing

This Actor uses pay-per-event pricing. You pay per job returned. Rows fetched with `includeJobDetails` are billed as detail results instead of search results. See the Pricing tab for the current rates.

Every Apify account includes a monthly free credit, which is enough to try the Actor on real searches.

### Use with AI agents (MCP)

Connect this Actor to any MCP-compatible AI client through the Apify MCP server:

```
https://mcp.apify.com?tools=santamaria-automations/foundit-in-scraper
```

Example prompt once connected: "Use foundit-in-scraper to find the newest data analyst jobs in Bengaluru posted in the last 3 days."

### Tips

- Use specific job titles ("java developer") rather than single generic words.
- For a daily feed, schedule the Actor with `sortBy: newest` and `postedWithinDays: 1`.
- Salaries on foundit.in are in INR per year, on foundit.sg in SGD, and so on for the other sites.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchQueries` (type: `array`):

One or more job titles or keywords. Each entry runs as a separate search. Examples: 'data analyst', 'accountant', 'java developer'. Leave empty to run a small demo search.

## `location` (type: `array`):

Optional cities or regions, for example 'Mumbai', 'Bengaluru', 'Singapore'. Each location runs as its own search for every keyword. Leave empty for the whole country.

## `country` (type: `string`):

Which foundit site to search: India (foundit.in), Singapore (foundit.sg), Malaysia (foundit.my) or Indonesia (foundit.id).

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

Sort order. Use 'newest' for scheduled scrapes to get the latest postings first.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Only return jobs posted within the last N days (1 = last 24 hours, 7 = last week). 0 means no age filter.

## `maxResultsPerQuery` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of jobs per keyword and location combination.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Total cap across all keywords and locations. 0 means no total cap (the per-query cap still applies). When the input is empty, a demo run returns 5 jobs.

## `includeJobDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Fetch the job detail for every result to add the full description (HTML, Markdown and plain text), state, company address, view count and the complete skills list. Slower: one extra request per job. Charges the job-detail-result event instead of job-serp-result for those rows.
