## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## LinkedIn Company Scraper (no login) + Recent Posts

Scrape **LinkedIn company pages** into clean JSON: name, website, industry, company size, employees on LinkedIn, followers, headquarters, every office address, founded year, company type, specialties, logo, similar companies and the **latest posts with likes**.

Paste company URLs (any `linkedin.com/company/...` link, from any country subdomain) or just slugs like `stripe`. No LinkedIn account, cookies or browser needed.

> ⚠️ **Read before use.** This actor reads LinkedIn's public, logged-out company pages. LinkedIn's User Agreement restricts automated access, so using this actor **may break LinkedIn's terms**, and LinkedIn may block or restrict IPs or accounts linked to that use. **You are responsible for how you use this actor and the data it returns**, including complying with LinkedIn's terms and with data-protection laws (e.g. GDPR) in your jurisdiction. This actor is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn.

### What you can use it for

- **Lead enrichment**: add size, industry, HQ, website and follower count to a list of companies in your CRM.
- **Account-based marketing and sales research**: find target companies by industry and size, then grow the list with **Similar pages**.
- **Competitor monitoring**: schedule it weekly to track followers, headcount and what competitors post.
- **Market maps and investment research**: office locations, founding year and company type at a glance.

### Input

- **Companies**: one URL or slug per line. Duplicates are removed.
- **Include recent posts** (on by default): the latest posts LinkedIn shows on the public page, usually 5, with text, date and likes.
- **Include similar companies** (on by default): name, URL and industry of up to 10 related company pages.

### Output

One row per company:

```json
### Cost
You pay per company saved. Companies that don't exist, failed pages and retries are free, and your run's maximum cost limit is always respected.
### Tips
- LinkedIn rate-limits busy IPs. Keep **Apify Proxy** on (the default); the actor retries blocked pages on a fresh IP.
- Companies that can't be loaded don't stop the run. They're listed in the `FAILURES` record of the run's key-value store.
- Looking for jobs instead? See [LinkedIn Jobs Scraper](https://apify.com/santiagomv/linkedin-jobs).
# Actor input Schema
## `companies` (type: `array`):
LinkedIn company page URLs (linkedin.com/company/...) or just the slug, e.g. 'stripe'. One per line.
## `includePosts` (type: `boolean`):
Add the company's latest public posts (text, date, likes) shown on its page. No extra cost.
## `includeSimilarPages` (type: `boolean`):
Add the 'Similar pages' list (name, URL, industry). Useful to discover more companies to scrape.
## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):
How many company pages load at once.
## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):
Apify Proxy is recommended; LinkedIn rate-limits busy IPs.
## Actor input object example
```json
{
  "companies": [
    "https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe",
    "posthog"
  ],
  "includePosts": true,
  "includeSimilarPages": true,
  "maxConcurrency": 3,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true
  }
}
```
# Actor output Schema
## `companies` (type: `string`):
All companies scraped in this run, as a table.
