## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Amazon Product Scraper

Scrape **Amazon.com** product pages and keyword searches, live. For every product you get the full listing (title,
brand, price, rating and review count, feature bullets, description, full-resolution images, specifications,
best-sellers rank, categories and variants) plus **every seller offer** from the buy box and the All Offers
Display, each with price, condition, seller, shipping cost and delivery date. No proxies or Amazon account needed.

Prices and delivery are quoted for the **US** (New York) by default. Switch `country` to quote them for any of
29 other countries instead (UK, EU, Japan, Canada, UAE, India, Brazil and more), with the shipping cost of each offer.

### What you can do

- **Product lookup**: give ASINs or product URLs (including `amzn.to` / `a.co` short links).
- **Search**: give keywords and get ranked results with price, rating, review count, Prime and sponsored flags, and
  shipping. Optionally keep only free-shipping items.

### Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `products` | ASINs or Amazon.com product URLs |
| `searchQueries` | Keywords to search |
| `country` | Delivery country (default: United States) |
| `maxPagesPerQuery` | Result pages per query (1-20) |
| `freeShippingOnly` | Keep only items with free shipping |
| `maxItems` | Stop after this many results (caps your cost) |

### Output

Product item (abridged):

```json
{
  "type": "product",
  "asin": "B07H9PZDQW",
  "title": "Gaiam Essentials Thick Yoga Mat Fitness & Exercise Mat",
  "delivery_country": "US",
  },
  "url": "https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H9PZDQW"
}
```

Search item (abridged):

```json
{
  "type": "search_result", "query": "yoga mat", "page": 1, "rank": 1,
  "asin": "B07H9PZDQW", "title": "...", "price": 23.11, "rating": 4.6, "review_count": 46855,
  "free_shipping": true, "shipping_price": 0.0, "delivery_date": "Fri, Nov 6",
  "is_prime": true, "is_sponsored": false, "delivery_country": "US"
}
```

All prices are in USD. Any details field can be empty when Amazon's page for that category doesn't have it.

### Pricing

Pay per event, nothing else:

| Event | Price |
|---|---|
| Product (full details + every offer) | $3.00 / 1,000 |
| Search result | $1.00 / 1,000 |
| Actor start | $0.00005 per run |

Products that fail to load after retries, or that Amazon doesn't have, are skipped and not charged. Set `maxItems`
or a maximum charge per run to cap spending.

### Limits

- Amazon.com only. Reviews text and seller profiles are not included.
- Data is live: a product typically takes 3-6 s (the first one in a run up to ~30 s). Repeat lookups within
  10 minutes are served from cache.
