## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### What does StubHub Scraper do?

**StubHub Scraper** extracts ticket listings and events from [stubhub.com](https://www.stubhub.com). Give it event URLs, a search term (an artist, team, show or venue), a performer page or a city, and it returns one row per ticket listing: section, row, seats, price per ticket, tickets left, the quantities a listing sells in, StubHub's deal score and star rating, face value, delivery type and seller notes, with the event's date, venue and city on every row. Or switch to events mode for one row per event with its lowest and highest price, listings and tickets on sale and the price by zone. Built for ticket resellers, price trackers, event analysts, promoters and anyone who needs StubHub prices in a spreadsheet or an API.

StubHub scraper · StubHub ticket prices API alternative · StubHub listings export · ticket resale data

- **Every listing StubHub's grid shows, from one page:** the event page carries the whole listing grid for the chosen ticket quantity, so a 360-listing NBA game comes back in one request instead of 36 pages of ten (measured: 1,000 listings from three Knicks games in 14 seconds)
- **Seat-level fields:** zone, section, row, seat numbers, tickets available, splits, max quantity, price per ticket (with or without fees), face value, delivery type, notes, StubHub's deal score, star rating and seat-quality score, badges such as "Best price" and "Last tickets", price-drop flags
- **Events, five ways:** event URLs or ids, StubHub's search, performer and team pages, search result pages, and Explore by city with category, radius and date filters
- **Monitor mode:** run it on a schedule and receive only listings that are new or changed price since the last run, with the previous price and the change in percent; optionally a row for every listing that sold or was pulled
- **Filters before you pay:** ticket quantity, zone, section, price range, minimum tickets and minimum deal score
- **No login, cookies or StubHub API key**
- **Export anywhere:** JSON, CSV, Excel, XML; API, schedules, webhooks, Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, MCP

1. [Create a free Apify account](https://console.apify.com/sign-up) (it comes with monthly free credit).
2. Open **StubHub Scraper** and add event URLs, search terms (`Hamilton`, `New York Knicks`) or cities to explore.
3. Pick **Ticket listings** or **Events**, and the number of tickets you need (0 = any).
4. Add filters if you want them (zone, section, price, deal score) and set **Max results**.
5. Click **Start**, then download the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read it through the API.

### ⬇️ Input

| `startUrls` | list | Event pages (`…/event/161658865/`), event ids (`161658865`), performer or team pages (`…/performer/2742`), grouping pages, search pages (`/secure/search?q=…`), Explore URLs |
| `searchQueries` | list | Artists, teams, shows or venues, e.g. `Hamilton`, `New York Knicks` |
| `exploreLocations` | list | A city (`New York`, `Chicago`, `London`; 60 presets) or `latitude,longitude` |

#### Input JSON

```json
{
  "mode": "listings",
  "searchQueries": ["New York Knicks"],
  "quantity": 2,
  "maxPrice": 300,
  "maxEvents": 3,
  "maxResults": 500
}
```

#### Pick the number of tickets first

StubHub shows a different grid for each ticket quantity: a listing of 4 that only splits in pairs is not offered to a buyer of 3. Set `quantity` to the group size you are pricing for; leave it at 0 to see every listing. The Knicks-Magic game on 25 October showed 357 listings for any quantity and 243 for one ticket.

#### Paste the event link exactly as StubHub shows it

Any StubHub event URL works, with or without its query string, as does the bare event id. Performer and team pages (`/new-york-knicks-tickets/performer/2742`) list that performer's next events; search result pages list up to 20 events per query.

### ⬆️ Output

One item per listing (`recordType: "listing"`) or per event (`recordType: "event"`). A listing from a real run (Knicks vs 76ers, 20 October), trimmed:

```json
  "venueName": "Madison Square Garden",
  "zone": "400 Level",
  "section": "416",
  "row": "3",
  "seats": "16",
  "ticketsAvailable": 1,
  "price": 1180.35,
  "currency": "USD",
  "deliveryType": "Mobile ticket",
  "notes": ["Third Row of Section", "Clear view", "Instant download"],
  "tags": ["Best price"],
  "dealScore": 9.44,
  "starRating": 5,
  "sectionMedianPrice": 1393.53,
  "listedAt": "2026-10-14T02:39:17.237Z",
}
```

An event row in events mode with event details on (a Columbus concert, 16 October), trimmed:

```json
{
  "recordType": "event",
  "eventId": "161890284",
  "name": "Candlelight - Tribute to Taylor Swift",
  "eventDate": "2026-10-16",
  "eventTime": "18:30",
  "venueName": "Short North Church",
  "venueAddress": "25 W 5th Ave, Columbus, Ohio, 43201",
  "minPrice": 109.7,
  "maxPrice": 682.39,
  "listingsShown": 2,
  "totalListings": 6,
  "availableTickets": 26,
  "currency": "USD",
  "url": "https://www.stubhub.com/candlelight-tribute-to-taylor-swift-columbus-tickets-10-16-2026/event/161890284/"
}
```

#### Fields and how often they are filled

Measured on local runs of 14 October 2026. "Default" = two runs of 1,000 listings from three Knicks games with default settings (StubHub served 10 detailed listings per page in one, 40 in the other); "full detail" = 297 listings of a Rangers game with `fullListingDetails` on.

| Field | Meaning | Default | Full detail |
|---|---|---|---|
| `listingId`, `zone`, `section`, `price`, `ticketsAvailable` | Listing basics | 100% | 100% |
| `row` | Row label | 97% | 99% |
| `dealScore` | StubHub's 0-10 deal score | 98% | 99% |
| `isAisle`, `isFrontRow`, `isVip`, `isInstantDownload`, `isCheapest`, `sectionMedianPrice` | Seat-map flags | 100% | 100% |
| `splits`, `maxQuantity`, `deliveryType`, `notes`, `starRating`, `listedAt`, `viewFromSeatImage` | Grid detail | 3-12% (the cheapest 10-40 per event) | 100% |
| `seats`, `seatFrom`, `seatTo` | Seat numbers (when the seller shows them) | 1-4% | 23% |
| `faceValue` | Face value (when the seller states it) | 2-8% | 64% |
| `priceWithoutFees` | With `includePriceWithoutFees` | - | 74-88% |
| `originalPrice`, `discountPercent` | Price before a drop | rare | 4% |

Every row says which set it carries in `detailLevel` (`full` or `summary`). Event rows from StubHub's search, Explore or performer lists carry name, date, time, venue and city (100%) but no prices; event rows read from the event page (`detailLevel: "full"`) add prices, counts, zones, address, coordinates and teams.

### How can I use StubHub ticket data?

- 🎟️ **Ticket resellers:** price your inventory against every comparable listing in the same section and row.
- 📉 **Price trackers:** schedule monitor mode on the events you follow and get only new listings and price drops.
- 📊 **Market analysts:** compare face value with asking price by section, team, venue or day of the week.
- 🏟️ **Promoters and venues:** watch secondary-market depth and pricing for your own events.
- 🧭 **Event aggregators:** pull upcoming events by city or performer with dates, venues and lowest prices.
- 🤖 **AI and data pipelines:** feed clean, typed ticket data to dashboards, agents and models.

### How much does it cost to scrape StubHub?

StubHub Scraper is priced per result: **$0.0009 per row** (one listing or one event), with no start fee.

| Rows | Price |
|---|---|
| 10 | $0.009 |
| 100 | $0.09 |
| 1,000 | $0.90 |
| 10,000 | $9.00 |

Apify's free plan includes monthly credit, enough for thousands of rows. A run that finds nothing costs nothing.

### Integrations, API, scheduling and MCP

Run it on a **schedule** (every hour before a big game, for example) with **monitor mode** to receive only what changed. Send results to **Google Sheets, Slack, Make, Zapier or n8n**, or trigger your own code with **webhooks**. Call it from your code with the [Python](https://apify.com/scrapersdelight/stubhub-scraper/api/python) or [JavaScript](https://apify.com/scrapersdelight/stubhub-scraper/api/javascript) client, or connect AI assistants through the [MCP server](https://apify.com/scrapersdelight/stubhub-scraper/api/mcp).

### Limits and empty runs

- **One listing per row:** StubHub's listing grid shows one listing per row of seats. The actor returns every listing the grid shows (357 for the Knicks-Magic game); the event row's `totalListings` is StubHub's count across all listings (3,104 for that game).
- **Detail level:** the event page carries full detail for its cheapest 10-40 listings and the seat-map fields for the rest. `fullListingDetails` reads one more page per section (about 90 pages for a 300-listing game; 4-12 minutes in our tests).
- **Prices** are in the currency StubHub shows the visitor's location (USD from the US connections this actor uses; `currency` is on every row), fees included unless you add `priceWithoutFees`. StubHub can show a whole event a few percent higher or lower from one visit to the next; monitor mode removes such an event-wide shift before it reports a price change.
- **When StubHub refuses the direct connection**, the actor continues through a US residential proxy within a cost limit per run. Extras that read one page per section or per event (full detail, events with details) stop at that limit and say so in the log; the listings themselves are not affected. Events mode without details reads no event pages at all.
- **Empty runs:** a search with no upcoming events, or events with nothing on sale, end with 0 rows and a status message; nothing is charged. Each run writes a `RUN_SUMMARY` with per-event counts.

### ❓ FAQ

#### How much does StubHub Scraper cost?

$0.0009 per row, no start fee: 1,000 listings cost $0.90.

#### How many listings can StubHub Scraper get from one event?

Every listing StubHub's grid shows for your ticket quantity, typically 200-800 for a big game, from one page fetch. A Jets-Dolphins game showed 770.

#### Can StubHub Scraper track price changes?

Yes. Turn on monitor mode and schedule the run: each run delivers only listings that are new or changed price since the last run, with `changeType`, `previousPrice` and `priceChangePercent`. Add `reportRemovedListings` to get a row for each listing that sold or was pulled.

#### Can StubHub Scraper find events by city or performer?

Yes: search terms, performer and team pages, search result pages and Explore by city, with category, radius and date filters.

#### Does StubHub Scraper need a login, cookies or a StubHub API key?

No. It reads the same public pages any visitor sees.

#### Does StubHub Scraper return seat numbers and face value?

When the seller shows them. With `fullListingDetails` on, seat numbers were filled on 23% of listings and face value on 64% in our test; the rest of the listings do not publish them.

#### Can I use StubHub Scraper with the Apify API?

Yes. Start runs and read results with the [Python](https://apify.com/scrapersdelight/stubhub-scraper/api/python) or [JavaScript](https://apify.com/scrapersdelight/stubhub-scraper/api/javascript) client or plain HTTP.

#### Can AI agents use StubHub Scraper through MCP?

Yes, through Apify's [MCP server](https://apify.com/scrapersdelight/stubhub-scraper/api/mcp).

#### Why did StubHub Scraper return no results?

The search matched no upcoming events, the events had no tickets on sale for your quantity, or your filters removed every listing. `RUN_SUMMARY` lists every event with its counts and the reason.

#### Is it legal to scrape StubHub?

The actor collects publicly visible event and listing data and no personal data. How you use the data is your responsibility. StubHub Scraper is not affiliated with StubHub.

# Actor input Schema

## `mode` (type: `string`):

Ticket listings: one row per listing on each event (section, row, seats, price...). Events: one row per event.

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Event pages (…/event/160417385/), event ids ("160417385"), performer or team pages (…/performer/2742), grouping pages, search pages (/secure/search?q=…) and explore URLs (/explore?lat=…\&lon=…).

## `searchQueries` (type: `array`):

Artists, teams, shows or venues, one per line, e.g. "Taylor Swift", "New York Knicks", "Hamilton". Each term returns StubHub's matching upcoming events.

## `exploreLocations` (type: `array`):

Events near a place, as StubHub's Explore page lists them: a city ("New York", "Chicago", "London", 60 presets) or "latitude,longitude" ("40.7128,-74.0060").

## `quantity` (type: `integer`):

Show listings that can sell this many tickets together, like the quantity picker on StubHub. 0 = any quantity.

## `category` (type: `string`):

Limit Explore-by-city results to one top-level category.

## `dateFrom` (type: `string`):

Only events on or after this date: YYYY-MM-DD, or a number of days from today ("0" = today). Applied by StubHub for Explore, by the actor for other sources.

## `dateTo` (type: `string`):

Only events on or before this date: YYYY-MM-DD, or days from today ("30" = the next 30 days).

## `radiusKm` (type: `integer`):

How far from the Explore location to look. Empty = StubHub's own default radius.

## `zones` (type: `array`):

Keep listings whose zone contains one of these words, e.g. "Floor", "100 Level", "Club". Case-insensitive.

## `sections` (type: `array`):

Keep listings in these sections, e.g. "112", "Floor A", "MC65". A value matches the section name or part of it.

## `minPrice` (type: `number`):

In the event's currency (USD from US exits), fees included.

## `maxPrice` (type: `number`):

In the event's currency, fees included, e.g. 250.

## `minTickets` (type: `integer`):

Keep listings with at least this many tickets available, e.g. 4 for a group.

## `minDealScore` (type: `number`):

StubHub's own 0-10 deal score (price vs seat quality). 9 = great deals only.

## `fullListingDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Seats, splits, face value, delivery type and notes for every listing, not only the cheapest 10-40 per event. Reads one extra page per section (about 90 for a 300-listing game, 4-12 minutes); on the residential fallback it stops at the run's cost limit.

## `includePriceWithoutFees` (type: `boolean`):

Adds priceWithoutFees to every listing (one extra page per event).

## `includeEventSummary` (type: `boolean`):

One event row before each event's listings: min/max price, listings and tickets on sale, price by zone, venue address and coordinates. Charged as one result.

## `includeEventDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Read each event's page for min/max price, listing and ticket counts, price by zone, venue address and teams (one page per event). Off = the fields the search or Explore list gives (no prices). On the residential fallback only a few events fit the run's cost limit.

## `monitorMode` (type: `boolean`):

Deliver only listings that are new or changed price since the last run with the same filters (changeType, previousPrice). Pairs with a schedule. Events mode: only new events.

## `reportRemovedListings` (type: `boolean`):

In monitor mode, also deliver a row (changeType "removed") for each listing delivered before that is no longer on sale.

## `minPriceChangePercent` (type: `number`):

Report a price change only when a listing moved at least this much. StubHub shows each visitor one price level; a run-wide shift is removed before comparing.

## `monitorStoreName` (type: `string`):

Named key-value store that remembers delivered listings between runs. Use a different name per watch list.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Most rows (listings + events) to save in this run. A big event shows 300-800 listings. 0 = no limit.

## `maxEvents` (type: `integer`):

Listings mode: how many events with listings to read (sold-out events are skipped and not counted). 0 = all found.

## `maxListingsPerEvent` (type: `integer`):

Cheapest listings first. 0 = every listing the event shows.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Leave as is: the actor connects directly, then (when StubHub refuses) tries Apify datacenter proxy if your account has it, then a US residential session, inside a per-run cost limit. Add your own proxy URLs to try them right after the direct connection.
