## Brazil CNPJ Scraper - Receita Federal Company Data

Bulk-look up any Brazilian company by **CNPJ** and get its full **Receita Federal** registry record as
clean rows: **legal name**, **trade name**, **registration status**, **CNAE activities**, **full
address**, **email**, **phone numbers**, **capital**, **company size**, **Simples / MEI status** and the
**partners (QSA)** with roles and entry dates. Built on official open data - no API key, no browser, no
proxy. Paste one CNPJ or import a file with 10,000.

- **Import from a file** - paste a list, or link a public `.txt`/`.csv`, a Google Sheet/Drive link, or an

- **Filters** - keep only selected **states (UF)**, **statuses**, **size classes**, **headquarters only**,
  or a **CNAE code prefix** (e.g. `47` retail, `6201` software). Filtered-out companies are never charged.
- **Output fields** - trim every record to exactly the columns you need.

Leave everything empty and the run returns a small free sample so you can see the shape first.

### Reliability

Reads Receita Federal open data through **three independent public mirrors with automatic failover**
(OpenCNPJ, Minha Receita, BrasilAPI) - no key, no proxy, no anti-bot. A CNPJ that does not exist, an
invalid number, a filtered-out company or a run that returns nothing bills **$0**.

### Honest limits

- **Partner CPF numbers arrive masked** (`***688188**`) - Receita Federal publishes them that way for
  privacy; it is the source's redaction, not a scraping gap.
- **`email`/`phones` reflect what the company filed with Receita Federal** - measured on real runs they are
  present on most active companies, but a company that filed nothing has an honest null.
- **`simplesOptant` / `meiOptant` are tri-state** - `true`/`false` when Receita's Simples/MEI table has an
  explicit record for the CNPJ, `null` when it has no record there at all (common for large corporations).
- **`statusReason` is filled mainly for closed/suspended companies** - active companies usually have none.
- Records reflect the latest **monthly Receita Federal open-data release** the mirrors carry, not
  same-day filings.
