## Pricing

from $1.65 / 1,000 jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## HelloWork Scraper - France Jobs, Salaries & Companies

Scrape job listings from **HelloWork** (hellowork.com), one of France's largest job boards. Search by keyword and location and get structured results: **job title, company, location, contract type, salary (when disclosed), posting age and URL**.

No login, no API key.

### What it does

- Searches HelloWork by **keyword** (`développeur`, `comptable`, `commercial`, ...) and optional **location**.
- Returns clean job records with **company**, **location**, **contract type** (CDI, CDD, Alternance, ...), **salary** where the employer discloses it, and the direct job URL.
- Paginates automatically up to your **Max results**.

### Example output

```json
{
  "type": "job",
  "jobId": "81400027",
  "title": "Développeur Applicatif - Analyste Développeur H/F",
  "company": "Havana IT & Apps",
  "location": "Paris - 75",
  "contractType": "CDI",
  "salary": "40 000 - 55 000 € / an",
  "postedText": "il y a 10 jours",
  "url": "https://www.hellowork.com/fr-fr/emplois/81400027.html"
}
```

### Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| **Search keywords** | One or more job keywords (one search each). |
| **Location** | City or region (e.g. Paris, Lyon). Empty = all of France. |
| **Max results** | Cap across all searches. |
| **Proxy** | Default Apify proxy works; French residential IPs widen coverage. |

### Use cases

- **Recruitment & sourcing** - track live openings by role and city across France.
- **Market & salary research** - see who's hiring, contract mix, and disclosed pay bands.
- **Lead generation** - build lists of companies actively hiring in a sector.

### Notes

`salary` appears only when the employer discloses it in the listing (roughly half of postings) - it is `null` otherwise. Results come from HelloWork's server-rendered search pages.

### Run it from an agent (MCP / API)

Agent-ready: typed input schema, structured JSON output. An agent can call this Actor to answer "what jobs are open for X in Y?" in one step. Pass `searchQueries` (+ optional `location`) and read the `job` records back.

### FAQ

**Login or key?** No. **All of France?** Yes - leave the location empty. **Legal?** It reads publicly listed job postings; use the data in line with HelloWork's terms and applicable law.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchQueries` (type: `array`):

Job keywords to search, e.g. <code>développeur</code>, <code>comptable</code>, <code>commercial</code>. One search per keyword.

## `location` (type: `string`):

City or region to filter by, e.g. <code>Paris</code>, <code>Lyon</code>. Leave empty to search all of France.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of jobs to return (across all searches).

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Proxies to use. Default Apify proxy is fine; use French residential IPs for the widest coverage.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "searchQueries": [
    "développeur"
  ],
  "maxResults": 100,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

All scraped HelloWork job records as JSON items in the default dataset.

# API

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "searchQueries": [
        "développeur"
    ],
    "maxResults": 100,
    "proxyConfiguration": {
        "useApifyProxy": true
    }
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("scrapesage/hellowork-scraper").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
    console.dir(item);
});
