## Pricing

from $2.20 / 1,000 post scrapeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## Truth Social Scraper - Posts, Profiles & Engagement

Pull posts (Truths) and profile data from any public Truth Social account. For each post you get the
**full text**, **engagement counts** (replies, re-Truths, favourites), **media**, **hashtags** and
**mentions**, plus the author's **account stats** (followers, following, bio, verified). Give it a handle,
a batch of handles, or profile URLs - no login required.

### What you get per post

| Group | Fields |
|---|---|
| Post | `id`, `url`, `createdAt`, `text`, `language`, `visibility` |
| Type | `isReblog` (re-Truth), `rebloggedBy`, `isReply`, `inReplyToId` |
| Engagement | `repliesCount`, `reblogsCount`, `favouritesCount`, `upvotesCount` |
| Media & links | `mediaCount`, `mediaUrls`, `mediaTypes`, `cardUrl`, `cardTitle` |
| Entities | `tags` (hashtags), `mentions` |
| Author | `handle`, `displayName`, `verified`, `followersCount`, `followingCount`, `statusesCount`, `accountBio` |

### Input

```json
{
  "handles": ["realDonaldTrump", "DonaldJTrumpJr"],
  "maxPostsPerAccount": 100
}
```

- **Handles** - the name after the @ in the profile URL (e.g. `realDonaldTrump`). A full profile URL or
  an `@handle` works too.
- **Import from a file** - paste a whole list, or link a public `.txt`/`.csv`, a Google Sheet/Drive link,
  or an Apify key-value-store record.
- **Max posts per account** - how many recent posts to collect per account.
- **Include replies / Include re-Truths** - toggle to keep original Truths only.
- **Output fields** - tick only the columns you want for a lean export.

Leave the handle list empty and the run returns a small free sample so you can see the shape first.

### Reliability

Truth Social sits behind Cloudflare, so this is a browser actor: it loads the site once to clear the
challenge, then reads the public account API from that cleared session. US residential proxies are the
tested setup. A run that cannot clear emits nothing and bills **$0**, and says so - you are never charged
for a blocked run.

### Honest limits

- **Public accounts only.** Private or suspended accounts return nothing (and say so). No login, so no
  followers-list, DMs or non-public content.
- **Recent posts.** Collection walks back from the newest post; very old history is slower and bounded by
  your **Max posts per account** and the run timeout.
- **Some fields are per-post.** `mediaUrls`, `cardUrl`, `tags` and `mentions` are only present when a post
  actually has them; `text` is empty for a media-only Truth. That is the post, not a gap.
- **Re-Truths report the original author.** For a re-Truth, `handle`/`displayName` are the original
  poster; `rebloggedBy` and `queryHandle` tell you it came via the account you asked for.

### Pricing

**$0.004 per post** on the FREE tier (tiered pricing lowers it with volume). You are only charged for
posts actually saved; a blocked or empty run costs nothing.

### Output views

- **Posts** - handle, created, text, engagement counts, URL and the re-Truth flag.

### Use with AI assistants (MCP)

Available through the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/platform/integrations/mcp) - an agent can
pull an account's latest Truths with engagement numbers for monitoring or analysis.

### Agent-ready: autonomous payments (x402 & Skyfire)

This actor is **agent-ready** - AI agents can discover it, run it, and **pay for it autonomously**, with no Apify account and no human in the loop. It uses [pay-per-event](https://docs.apify.com/platform/actors/publishing/monetize/pay-per-event) pricing and [limited permissions](https://docs.apify.com/platform/actors/development/permissions), so it qualifies for Apify's agentic-payment standards:

- **[x402](https://docs.apify.com/platform/integrations/x402)** - an open, HTTP-native payment protocol. Agents pay per run in USDC on the Base network directly through the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/platform/integrations/mcp) - no account, no API key.
- **[Skyfire](https://docs.apify.com/platform/integrations/skyfire)** - agent-to-service payments for fully autonomous AI-agent workflows.

Building an AI agent, MCP tool, or autonomous data pipeline? This scraper is ready to plug in and pay as it goes.

# Actor input Schema

## `handles` (type: `array`):

Truth Social account handles - the name after the @ in the profile URL (e.g. <code>realDonaldTrump</code>). A full profile URL like <code>https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump</code> or an <code>@handle</code> is accepted too. <b>Leave empty and the run returns a small free sample.</b>

## `handlesFromFile` (type: `string`):

Bulk-load handles. Either <b>paste the whole list</b> (one per line or comma-separated), or give <b>a single link</b> to a public <code>.txt</code>/<code>.csv</code>, a Google Sheet/Drive link, or an Apify key-value-store record. A file that cannot be read says so and charges nothing.

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Paste Truth Social profile URLs directly instead of handles - e.g. <code>https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump</code>.

## `maxPostsPerAccount` (type: `integer`):

How many of the most recent posts (Truths) to collect per account. You are only charged for posts actually saved.

## `includeReplies` (type: `boolean`):

Include posts that are replies to another post. Turn off for original Truths only.

## `includeReblogs` (type: `boolean`):

Include re-Truths (the account resharing someone else's post). Turn off for the account's own posts only.

## `outputFields` (type: `array`):

Pick the fields you want and every record is trimmed to exactly those - handy for lean CSV/Sheets exports. Open the dropdown and tick, or type to filter (<code>text</code>, <code>url</code>, <code>favouritesCount</code>).

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Truth Social sits behind Cloudflare. US residential proxies are strongly recommended - the defaults below are the tested setup.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "handles": [
    "realDonaldTrump"
  ],
  "maxPostsPerAccount": 40,
  "includeReplies": true,
  "includeReblogs": true,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true,
    "apifyProxyGroups": [
      "RESIDENTIAL"
    ],
    "apifyProxyCountry": "US"
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

Each scraped record - Truth Social posts and profiles - as a JSON item in the default dataset.
