## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Career Site Jobs Scraper

Scrape **every open job from company career sites** hosted on **Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, SmartRecruiters, Workable and Recruitee** - one normalized shape for all seven: title, locations, remote / hybrid / onsite, department and team, employment type, posted and updated dates, **salary ranges** when the company publishes pay, links to the posting and the application form, and optionally the **full job description** as text and HTML. Paste the career page links of as many companies as you like.

### Features

- **Seven ATSs, one format** - Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, SmartRecruiters, Workable and Recruitee career pages are detected from the URL.
- **Whole boards** - up to 2000 jobs per company in one go.
- **Filters** - title keyword, location, department, remote only.
- **Pay transparency** - salary min / max, currency and interval wherever the ATS exposes them.
- **Full descriptions** - optional `descriptionText` and `descriptionHtml` for every job.
- **Single postings** - a link to one job returns just that job with its description.

### Use cases

- **Hiring signals and sales intelligence** - which companies are hiring for which roles, and where.
- **Job boards and aggregators** - fresh postings straight from the source ATS.
- **Recruiting research** - open roles, departments and pay ranges of target companies.
- **Labour-market analytics** - salary ranges and remote shares across employers.

### Input

|-------|------|---------|-------------|
| `urls` | array | Stripe on Greenhouse | Career page URLs, one per line. |

| `department` | string | - | Only jobs in this department or team. |

Supported career page formats:

| ATS | Example |
|-----|---------|
| Greenhouse | `https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/stripe` (also `boards.greenhouse.io/<token>`) |
| Lever | `https://jobs.lever.co/palantir` (EU: `jobs.eu.lever.co`) |
| Ashby | `https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp` |
| Workday | `https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite` |
| SmartRecruiters | `https://jobs.smartrecruiters.com/Ubisoft2` |
| Workable | `https://apply.workable.com/huggingface` |
| Recruitee | `https://bunq.recruitee.com` |

#### Example input

```json
{
  "urls": [
    "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp",
    "https://jobs.lever.co/palantir",
    "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite"
  ],
  "keyword": "engineer",
  "maxJobsPerSite": 50,
  "includeDescription": true
}
```

### Output

One dataset item per job:

```json
{
  "careerPage": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp",
  "companyName": "ramp",
  "boardUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp",
  "id": "34413f8d-26bf-4bbc-8ade-eb309a0e2245",
  "title": "Security Engineer, Cloud",
  "company": "ramp",
  "provider": "ashby",
  "url": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/34413f8d-26bf-4bbc-8ade-eb309a0e2245",
  "applyUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/34413f8d-26bf-4bbc-8ade-eb309a0e2245/application",
  "location": "New York, NY (HQ)",
  "locations": ["New York, NY (HQ)", "Remote (Canada)", "Remote (US)", "Miami, FL"],
  "country": null,
  "remote": true,
  "workplaceType": "hybrid",
  "department": "Engineering",
  "team": "Backend",
  "employmentType": "Full-time",
  "postedAt": "2026-04-07T17:12:35.753+00:00",
  "updatedAt": null,
  "requisitionId": null,
  "salary": {"min": 211400.0, "max": 290600.0, "currency": "USD", "interval": "year", "text": "$211.4K - $290.6K"},
  "salaryRanges": [{"min": 211400.0, "max": 290600.0, "currency": "USD", "interval": "year", "text": "$211.4K - $290.6K"}],
  "customFields": null,
  "descriptionText": "ABOUT RAMP\n\nRamp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, ...",
  "descriptionHtml": "<h1><strong>About Ramp</strong></h1><p>Ramp is building ..."
}
```

A field the ATS does not publish is `null`. The description fields are filled when `includeDescription` is on (or for a single-posting link).

The key-value store also holds:

- `SITES` - per career page: the detected ATS, company, board URL, total jobs on the board, jobs matching the filters, jobs collected and warnings.
- `ERRORS` - career pages that returned no jobs (no open or matching jobs, unknown board, blocked) with the reason. These are **not billed**.

### Pricing

**$0.80 per 1000 jobs.** You pay only for jobs delivered; career sites without jobs are not charged.

### Notes

- Only career sites hosted on the seven ATSs above are supported; a company's own careers page usually links to one of them (look for `greenhouse.io`, `lever.co`, `ashbyhq.com`, `myworkdayjobs.com` ... in the job links).
- Workday and SmartRecruiters publish descriptions per posting, so `includeDescription` reads each posting separately there and takes longer. On Workday the listing itself only says "3 Locations" or "Posted 30+ Days Ago" (kept in `customFields`); the full `locations` list and the exact `postedAt` come with `includeDescription`.
- `companyName` is the display name where the ATS publishes one (Greenhouse); elsewhere it is the company's board name or Workday tenant (`ramp`, `palantir`, `nvidia`).
- The data is read from the ATSs' public job feeds; no login is involved.

# Actor input Schema

## `maxJobsPerSite` (type: `integer`):

Upper limit of jobs returned for each career page (1-2000).

## `keyword` (type: `string`):

Only jobs whose title contains every word, e.g. software engineer.

Only jobs in this department or team, e.g. Engineering.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Optional exit-IP country (ISO-2, e.g. US, DE). Leave empty to let the service pick.

## `concurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many career sites to read at the same time (1-5).
