## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Cdiscount Scraper

Scrape **Cdiscount (cdiscount.com)**, France's big online retailer and marketplace, as clean JSON. Get **search results** or **product pages**: every product comes with the price, the **strike price** and discount, rating and review count, the **seller - Cdiscount itself or a marketplace seller** - and whether Cdiscount ships it, the Cdiscount à volonté flag, the delivery label, condition (new or refurbished), key specs and promotions. Product pages add the brand, EAN and manufacturer reference, breadcrumbs, price without VAT, eco-participation, stock, the **number of new and used offers and their lowest prices**, the 1-5 star split and criteria ratings, the full **technical sheet**, images, videos, **variants** with their prices, energy class, 4x payment and the **latest reviews**.

### Features

- **Search mode** - products for each search term, about 47 per results page, up to 300 per term.
- **Product mode** - one product per input (Cdiscount product id / SKU or product link) with the technical sheet, offer counts, variants and reviews.
- **Marketplace insight** - who sells each product, fulfilled-by-Cdiscount, and how many other new and used offers exist with their lowest prices.

### Use cases

- **Price monitoring in France** - price, strike price and discount for your products and competitors.
- **Marketplace competition** - Cdiscount vs third-party sellers, offer counts and lowest competing prices.
- **Catalogue enrichment** - EAN, brand, technical sheets, images and variants.
- **Review tracking** - star split, criteria ratings and the latest reviews.

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
|-------|------|---------|-------------|
| `mode` | string | `search` | `search` or `product`. |
| `queries` | array | `machine a laver` | Search terms (search mode). French works best. |
| `products` | array | - | Cdiscount product ids (`ip17256black`) or product links (product mode). |
| `maxResults` | integer | `47` | Products per search term (1-300). |
| `concurrency` | integer | `2` | Inputs processed at the same time (1-3). |

#### Example input

```json
{
  "mode": "search",
  "queries": ["aspirateur robot", "iphone 15"],
  "maxResults": 100
}
```

### Output

One dataset item per product, with the input it came from. A search item:

```json
{
  "mode": "search",
  "input": "iphone",
  "position": 4,
  "productId": "rcdappvdgpoacexe",
  "offerId": "4364319798",
  "title": "APPLE iPhone 15 128GB Black (2023) - Reconditionné - Excellent état",
  "url": "https://www.cdiscount.com/telephonie/telephone-mobile/apple-iphone-15-128gb-black-2023-reconditionne/f-14404-rcdappvdgpoacexe.html",
  "image": "https://www.cdiscount.com/pdt2/e/x/e/1/700x700/rcdappvdgpoacexe/rw/apple-iphone-15-128gb-black-2023-reconditionne.jpg",
  "price": 391.28,
  "strikePrice": 419,
  "discountPercent": 7,
  "currency": "EUR",
  "rating": 4.3,
  "reviewCount": 969,
  "seller": { "id": "425107", "name": "JINCHEN", "isCdiscount": false },
  "sellerName": "JINCHEN",
  "marketplace": true,
  "fulfilledByCdiscount": true,
  "cdiscountAVolonte": true,
  "freeShipping": true,
  "deliveryLabel": "Livraison gratuite",
  "condition": "Reconditionné - Excellent état",
  "highlights": { "Capacité de la mémoire interne": "128 Go" },
  "badges": ["Payez en 4 fois. Voir conditions."]
}
```

A product-mode item adds `brand`, `ean`, `manufacturerReference`, `breadcrumbs`, `priceWithoutVat`, `strikePriceType`, `ecoParticipation`, `available`, `maxQuantity`, `delivery`, `offers` (counts of new and used offers and the lowest price of each), `ratingBreakdown`, `criteriaRatings`, `specifications`, `images`, `videos`, `variants`, `energyClass`, `repairabilityIndex`, `installments`, `documents` and `reviews`.

### Pricing

**$1.20 per 1000 products** (pay per result). A search term or product that returns nothing (no match, an unknown product id) is listed in the `ERRORS` record of the key-value store and is not charged.

### Notes

- A results page or product takes about 1-3 seconds.
- Search results show the brand only as an id; product mode has the brand name.
- The individual marketplace offers and their sellers' ratings are not included, only their counts and lowest prices.
