## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## LinkedIn Company Scraper

Scrape **public LinkedIn company pages** in bulk and get clean structured JSON - description, industry, company size, employee count, headquarters and full address, founded year, specialties, website, followers, logo, all office locations, similar and affiliated pages and the latest posts. **No cookies, no LinkedIn account, no login**, no proxies or browsers to configure.

Works with company page URLs and plain company slugs.

### Features

- **Company profile** - name, LinkedIn company ID, tagline, full "About" description, industry, company type (public, private, ...), founded year and specialties.
- **Size** - the company size range LinkedIn shows (e.g. 5,001-10,000 employees) and the number of employees on LinkedIn.
- **Contact and web** - website, phone (when public), headquarters and a structured address (street, city, region, postal code, country).
- **Locations** - every office address listed on the page, with the primary one marked.
- **Audience** - follower count.
- **Branding** - logo and cover image URLs.
- **Related pages** - similar companies ("People also viewed") and affiliated / showcase pages, each with name, industry, location, URL and slug.
- **Recent posts** - text, publish date, likes and URL of the latest public posts.

### Use cases

- Lead enrichment and firmographics for sales and CRM (industry, size, headquarters, website).
- Account-based marketing lists and prospect research.
- Competitor and market mapping through "similar companies".
- Recruiting and investment research.
- Monitoring company pages (followers, headcount, new posts) over time.

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
|-------|------|---------|-------------|
| `companies` | array | `["https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe/"]` | Company page URLs or slugs (the part after `/company/`). One result per company. |
| `proxy_country` | string | `""` | Optional exit country (ISO-2). Leave empty. |
| `concurrency` | integer | `3` | Companies fetched at the same time (1-5). |

#### Example input

```json
{
  "companies": [
    "https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe/",
    "microsoft",
    "https://www.linkedin.com/company/openai"
  ]
}
```

### Output

One dataset item per company (shortened):

```json
{
  "name": "Stripe",
  "url": "https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe",
  "slug": "stripe",
  "companyId": "2135371",
  "tagline": "Help increase the GDP of the internet.",
  "description": "Stripe builds programmable financial services. ...",
  "industry": "Technology, Information and Internet",
  "companySize": "5,001-10,000 employees",
  "employeeCount": 16622,
  "headquarters": "South San Francisco, California",
  "address": { "street": "354 Oyster Point Blvd", "locality": "South San Francisco", "region": "California", "postalCode": "94080", "country": "US" },
  "type": "Privately Held",
  "founded": 2010,
  "specialties": null,
  "website": "https://stripe.com",
  "followers": 1735697,
  "logo": "https://media.licdn.com/dms/image/...",
  "locations": [{ "address": "354 Oyster Point Blvd, South San Francisco, California 94080, US", "primary": true }],
  "similarPages": [{ "name": "Atlassian", "industry": "Software Development", "location": "Sydney, NSW", "url": "https://au.linkedin.com/company/atlassian", "slug": "atlassian" }],
  "affiliatedPages": [{ "name": "Stripe Partner Ecosystem", "url": "https://www.linkedin.com/showcase/stripe-partner-ecosystem/" }],
  "recentPosts": [{ "text": "Add financial insights to your agent with the Link CLI. ...", "datePublished": "2026-09-24T22:22:44.632Z", "likes": 86, "url": "https://www.linkedin.com/posts/..." }]
}
```

Every item has the same keys; a value the page does not show is `null`. `specialties` is a list of strings when the company lists them (e.g. `["Business Software", "Developer Tools", ...]` for Microsoft).

Companies that fail (unknown slug, removed page) are listed in the `ERRORS` record of the key-value store and are **not billed**.

### Pricing

**$1.20 per 1000 companies.** Locations, similar pages and recent posts are included at no extra charge. Failed companies are not charged.

### Notes

- Only data LinkedIn shows publicly on the signed-out company page is returned - no employee lists or private data.
- The slug is the part of the company URL after `/company/` - for `https://www.linkedin.com/company/caci-international-inc/` it is `caci-international-inc`.

# Actor input Schema
