## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Shopee Scraper

Scrape **Shopee products** as clean, structured JSON from **8 markets** - Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Taiwan and Brazil. Search by keyword, paste Shopee search or category links, or paste product links. Every product comes with its **price**, **original price and discount**, **rating**, **ship-from location**, **promotion labels**, image and link. Product links add the **description**, **brand**, **categories**, **variations and models**, **attributes**, the image gallery and videos, and the **shop's profile** (rating, followers, item count, response rate). No Shopee account, no cookies, no proxies to set up.

### Features

- **Keyword search** in any of the 8 markets, in Shopee's own order (`position`), with **sort** (relevance, top sales, newest, price up or down) and **price filters**.
- **Search and category links** - paste a Shopee link and get its products, with the link's own filters.
- **Product pages** - description, brand, categories, variation options, models (model ids and names), attributes, images, videos and shop profile.
- **Prices you can compute with** - `price`, `originalPrice` and `discountPercent` as numbers, `currency` as ISO 4217 (SGD, IDR, MYR, THB, VND, PHP, TWD, BRL).
- **Promotion labels** - the badges Shopee shows on the card ("New Arrival", flash-sale prices, bundle deals...).
- **Stable ids** - `itemId` and `shopId` to deduplicate and track products across runs.
- **Deduplicated inputs** - the same search or product given twice is fetched and billed once.

### Use cases

- **Price monitoring** - track prices and discounts of a keyword, a category or your competitors' products on a schedule.
- **Market research** - see which shops, brands and price points win a search in each market.
- **Product sourcing and dropshipping** - compare listings, ratings and ship-from locations across sellers.
- **Catalog enrichment** - pull descriptions, attributes, variations and images for products you track.
- **Seller analysis** - shop ratings, followers, item counts and response rates.

### Input

|-------|------|---------|-------------|
| `searches` | array | - | Keywords to search in the chosen market (one search each). |
| `searchUrls` | array | - | Shopee search or category links. |

| `country` | string | `sg` | Market for keyword searches: `sg`, `id`, `my`, `th`, `vn`, `ph`, `tw`, `br`. Links carry their own market. |

With no searches, links or products, the actor runs one example search ("iphone case" in Singapore).

#### Example input

```json
{
  "searches": ["iphone case", "power bank"],
  "searchUrls": ["https://shopee.sg/Cases-Covers-cat.11013350.11013434.11027839"],
  "labels": ["10.25 PRICE: $34.90"],
  "source": "search",
  "country": "sg",
  "query": "iphone case"
}
```

Items from a link also carry `input` (the link). From a product link (`source: "product"`) - the same price, rating and label fields plus:

```json
  "country": "sg",
  "dataLevel": "full"
}
```

`dataLevel` is `full` when Shopee shows the product's catalogue data (Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Brazil), and `meta` where it shows only the title and main image - those items still carry price, discount, rating, labels and the shop. An item may carry `warnings` (for example when its price could not be found).

Searches, links or products that return nothing or cannot be read go to the `ERRORS` record in the run's key-value store, with the reason. They are not billed.

### Pricing

**$0.35 per 1000 products** (pay per result) - one dataset item is one product, from a search, a link or a product page. Products read from product links also charge the `product-details` event, **$1.65 per 1000** (so a full product page costs $2 per 1000 in total), as each one takes several page reads. Failed inputs are free.

### Notes

- Shopee shows one results page per search: up to 40 products. For more products, run several keywords, sort orders or price ranges. The same search run twice can return a partly different set.
- `price` is the price Shopee shows a signed-out shopper; it can be a promotional or new-customer price (see `labels`).
- Not available: stock, units sold, rating counts and reviews - Shopee does not publish them on the pages this actor reads.
- Powered by [ScrapeUnblocker](https://www.scrapeunblocker.com).
