## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Zillow Property Detail Scraper

Scrape the **full details of Zillow properties** by URL or zpid and get clean structured JSON - price, Zestimate and rent Zestimate, beds, baths, living area, lot size, year built, home type and status, description, price and tax history, facts, listing agent and broker, HOA, price per sqft, days on Zillow, coordinates and the full photo gallery. No Zillow API key, no login, no proxies or browsers to configure.

Works with for-sale, sold, off-market and rental homes. Use it together with a Zillow search scraper: collect listing URLs for an area, then pull each home in full here.

### Features

- **Price** - list price, Zestimate, rent Zestimate, last price change, last sold price and date, tax assessed value and tax rate.
- **Home facts** - beds, baths (full and half), living area, lot size, year built, home type and sub-type, HOA fee, price per sqft.
- **Status** - for sale, sold, off market, pending ... and days on Zillow.
- **Address** - street, city, state, ZIP, county, neighborhood, parcel ID and latitude/longitude.
- **Listing** - description, MLS ID and source, broker, listing agent contact, virtual tour link.
- **History** - price history (date, event, price) and tax history.
- **Extras** - at-a-glance facts (heating, cooling, parking, lot ...), schools, parking and the full **photo** gallery in high resolution.

### Use cases

- Real estate market research and comparable sales (comps).
- Investment analysis - price vs Zestimate, rent Zestimate for yield, tax and HOA costs.
- Enriching lists of Zillow URLs or zpids with full property data.
- Monitoring price changes and status of specific homes.
- Lead generation from listing agents and brokers.

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
|-------|------|---------|-------------|
| `homes` | array | the example Denver home | Zillow property URLs (`/homedetails/.../<zpid>_zpid/`) or numeric zpids. One result per home. |
| `proxy_country` | string | `""` | Optional exit country (ISO-2). Leave empty. |
| `concurrency` | integer | `3` | Homes fetched at the same time (1-5). |

#### Example input

```json
{
  "homes": [
    "https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1144-S-Logan-St-Denver-CO-80210/13368421_zpid/",
    "29432984"
  ]
}
```

### Output

One dataset item per home (shortened):

```json
{
  "zpid": "13368421",
  "url": "https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1144-S-Logan-St-Denver-CO-80210/13368421_zpid/",
  "status": "FOR_SALE",
  "statusText": "For sale",
  "price": 575000,
  "currency": "USD",
  "zestimate": null,
  "rentZestimate": null,
  "lastSoldPrice": 650000,
  "dateSold": "2023-05-17",
  "beds": 2,
  "baths": 2,
  "bathsFull": 1,
  "bathsHalf": 1,
  "area": 1003,
  "areaUnit": "sqft",
  "lotSize": 3049,
  "yearBuilt": 1900,
  "homeType": "SINGLE_FAMILY",
  "pricePerSqft": 573,
  "daysOnZillow": 12,
  "description": "Step into the timeless character of 1144 South Logan Street ...",
  "address": "1144 S Logan Street, Denver, CO 80210",
  "city": "Denver",
  "state": "CO",
  "zipcode": "80210",
  "neighborhood": "Platt Park",
  "latitude": 39.695812,
  "longitude": -104.98314,
  "mlsid": "5169582",
  "brokerName": "Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Colorado Real Estate, LLC",
  "listingAgent": { "name": null, "phone": "303-887-2986", "email": null, "licenseNumber": null },
  "photoCount": 29,
  "photos": ["https://photos.zillowstatic.com/fp/...-cc_ft_1536.jpg"],
  "facts": [{ "label": "Heating", "value": "Forced Air" }, { "label": "Parking", "value": "2 Garage spaces" }],
  "priceHistory": [{ "date": "2026-09-17", "event": null, "price": 575000 }],
  "taxHistory": null,
  "schools": null
}
```

Every item has the same keys; a value Zillow does not show for that home is `null` (for-sale and sold pages carry fewer sections than rentals, and Zillow hides the Zestimate on some listings).

Homes that fail (removed listing, wrong zpid) are listed in the `ERRORS` record of the key-value store and are **not billed**.

### Pricing

**$1.50 per 1000 properties.** Photos, price and tax history are included at no extra charge. Failed homes are not charged.

### Notes

- A bare number is read as a zpid; anything else must be a Zillow property URL.
- The same home given twice (as a URL and as a zpid) is fetched and charged once.

# Actor input Schema

## `homes` (type: `array`):

Zillow property URLs (https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/.../13368421\_zpid/) or numeric Zillow property ids (zpid, e.g. 13368421). One dataset item per property.

## `proxy_country` (type: `string`):

ISO-2 country to browse Zillow from. Leave empty - the service picks the best exit itself.

## `concurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many properties to fetch at the same time (1-5).

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "homes": [
    "https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1144-S-Logan-St-Denver-CO-80210/13368421_zpid/"
  ],
  "proxy_country": "",
  "concurrency": 3
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

One item per property with all listing details

## `errors` (type: `string`):

Properties that returned no data (removed, wrong id or blocked), with the reason (not billed)
