## Pricing

from $3.82 / 1,000 product delivereds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Costco Scraper: prices, member deals, stock, specs and ratings from costco.com

Costco Scraper collects **products from costco.com (US)** by keyword, category link or product link, without a
Costco membership or cookies. Each product comes back as one clean row: product ID and item numbers,
title, brand, model, the **online price, the warehouse price, the original price and the savings**, the member deals
as Costco shows them ("$400 OFF"), **online and warehouse stock** (in stock, low stock, out of stock), star rating and
rating count, the full category path, features, program types (ships, in warehouse, same-day delivery...),
member-only and FSA flags, order limits, image and link. With details on (the default), each row also gets the long
description, the highlights, the **specifications as key/value pairs** (brand, model, capacity, color, dimensions,
screen size...), the shipping note, the promotional note with the deal dates, the department and the release date.

It is used for price monitoring and deal tracking, competitor and assortment research for brands and resellers,
MAP checks, warehouse versus online price comparison, product matching across retailers by model number, and clean
product datasets for e-commerce, market research and AI agents.

### At a glance

| What | Price |
|---|---|
| Product delivered | **US$ 4.50 per 1,000 products** (US$ 0.0045 each) |
| Run start | US$ 0.005 per run |

- 1,000 products with specifications and stock = **US$ 4.51**.
- Error rows, duplicates, filtered products and products already delivered in earlier runs (`onlyNew`) are never
  charged.
- `maxItems` is a hard cap, and a spending limit set on the run stops it cleanly with everything delivered so far.
- Proxy is included. The run uses the Apify datacenter proxy by default.

### Quick start

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["coffee maker"],
  "maxItems": 50
}
```

Laptops from one brand, only products on sale, highest price first:

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["laptop"],
  "brands": ["HP"],
  "onSaleOnly": true,
  "sortBy": "price_desc",
  "maxItems": 100
}
```

A category, a product page and a product ID, only items in stock online:

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    "https://www.costco.com/televisions.html",
    "https://www.costco.com/p/-/cuisinart-brew-central-plus-14-cup-programmable-coffee-maker/4000372303",
    "100525739"
  ],
  "inStockOnly": true,
  "maxItems": 300
}
```

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `searchQueries` | Keywords, one search each. Keywords that Costco sends to a category page (like "tv") follow that category. |
| `startUrls` | Product links (`/p/-/.../4000372303` or `.product.100525739.html`), category links (`/televisions.html`), search links (`/s?keyword=`) or product IDs. |
| `sortBy` | `relevance`, `price_asc`, `price_desc`, `rating` or `newest`. |
| `brands` | Only these brands, as Costco writes them (`Kirkland Signature`, `Samsung`). |
| `minPrice`, `maxPrice` | Price range in USD. |
| `minRating` | Minimum average star rating. |
| `onSaleOnly` | Only products whose price is below the original price. |
| `inStockOnly` | Only products in stock for delivery. |
| `includeDetails` | On by default: description, highlights, specifications, shipping and promotional notes, department, release date. |
| `maxItems` | Cap for the whole run (default 50, 0 = no cap). |
| `onlyNew` | For schedules: delivers only products not delivered before for the same search. |

### Output fields

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `productId`, `itemNumbers` | 4000355164, \["1945458"] |

| `image`, `url` | product image and link |
| `description`, `highlights` | long description as text, bullet highlights |

warehouses, and `priceMax` appears only for products whose variants have different prices.

### Errors you may see

Error rows are free and have `type: "error"`, an `errorCode` and a plain message.

| errorCode | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `INVALID_URL` | The link is not a Costco product, category or search link, nor a product ID. |
| `INVALID_INPUT` | A field has a value the Actor cannot use (for example a rating above 5). |
| `NOT_FOUND` | The product is removed, not sold online, or the link or ID is wrong. |
| `NO_RESULTS` | The search or category has no product. |
| `BLOCKED` | Costco refused every attempt for that search; run it again in a few minutes. |

### Integrations, scheduling and AI agents

- **Schedules:** run it daily or weekly from Apify Schedules. Each run is a fresh price, deal and stock snapshot; with
  `onlyNew` on, only products not seen before are delivered (new arrivals alert).
- **Export:** download the dataset as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML, or read it from the Apify API.
- **Make, n8n, Zapier:** use the Apify integration to start the Actor and send rows to Google Sheets, Airtable, Slack
  or your database, for example a price drop or new deal alert.
- **AI agents:** the Actor works as a tool through the Apify MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client can
  search Costco and check prices, deals and stock on demand.
- **Webhooks:** get a call when a run finishes and pull the dataset from there.

### FAQ

**Do I need a Costco membership?** No. The Actor reads the public catalog the way a visitor does.

**Which prices are these?** `price` is the online (delivered) price, `warehousePrice` the warehouse price Costco
shows for the default location, and `originalPrice` the price before the current deal.

**Can I track a list of products?** Yes: put the product links or IDs in `startUrls` and schedule the run.

**Is it legal?** The Actor reads public product pages and collects no personal data. Check that your use fits the
laws and terms that apply to you.

### Limitations

- US store only (costco.com). Warehouse prices and stock are those of the default location the site uses.
- Reviews text is not collected, only the rating and the rating count.
- A keyword search returns what Costco's own search returns.
- Products that show their price only in the cart come without a price.

### Changelog

- **16 Oct 2026:** first version. Keyword, category, product link and ID input; five sort orders; brand, price,
  rating, sale and stock filters; online, warehouse and original price with savings and deals; specifications,
  description, shipping and promotional notes; `onlyNew` for schedules.
