## Subito.it Scraper: Italian listings, prices, photos and locations

Subito.it Scraper collects **classified listings from Subito.it**, the biggest marketplace for used goods, cars,
real estate and jobs in Italy. You search by keyword, category, region and price range, and each listing comes back as
one clean row: title, full description, price in euros, condition, shipping availability and cost, city, province,
region, coordinates, photos in large size, attributes (storage, mileage, year, size, fuel and more, depending on the
category), posted date, seller type and the direct link.

It also **goes past the 10,000-result limit per search**: turn on `splitLargeSearches` and a search with tens of
thousands of matches is delivered in full (up to the cap you set), without duplicates.

No account, cookies or browser needed. It is used to:

- track prices of used phones, laptops, cars, bikes, furniture or any product across Italy;
- find resale deals (listings priced under market value) and watch new listings with a schedule;
- build price databases, valuation models and market reports for a category or a region;
- monitor supply and demand by city or region, with coordinates for maps.

Seller names, profiles and phone numbers are not part of the output; only the seller type (`private` or `company`).

### Going past 10,000 results

A single search shows at most 10,000 listings, even when it matches many more (the word "iphone" matches over 66,000).
With `splitLargeSearches` on, the Actor cuts the search by region and, when a region still holds too many, by price
range, delivers each part and removes duplicates. Set `maxItems` to what you need. Expect about 1 second per
100 listings plus a few requests per range, so raise the run timeout for tens of thousands of listings.

Listings without a price are collected on a final pass that reaches the most recent ones; when you need all of them,
narrow the search with keywords, a category or a region.

Every error is a row with `errorCode` and is never charged:

**Do I need an account on Subito.it?** No. Everything comes from public search results, without login or cookies.

**Which language should I search in?** The listings are written in Italian, so Italian keywords find the most.
Brand and model names (iphone 15, playstation 5) work as they are.

**Can I get all listings of a category?** Yes: pick a `category`, leave `searchQueries` empty and set `maxItems`.

**Is it legal?** The Actor reads public listings only and returns no seller names, emails or phone numbers. You are
responsible for how you use the data under the laws that apply to you.

**Something broke or a field is missing?** Open an issue on the Actor page; issues are answered within a day.

### Limitations

- Coordinates are those of the comune, not the street.
- Seller information is not collected.
- With `splitLargeSearches`, listings without a price are reached only partly on very large searches.
