## Pricing

from $2.81 / 1,000 product delivereds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Target Scraper: products, prices, stock, UPC and ratings from target.com

Target Scraper collects **products from target.com (US)** by keyword, category or product link, without a Target
account, cookies or a browser. Each product comes back as one clean row: TCIN, DPCI and UPC, title, brand, current
and regular price with the savings, star rating, rating count, review count and the aspect ratings (quality, value,
ease of use...), badges like Bestseller, item type, release date, the spec bullets as key/value pairs, highlights,
images and videos. With details on (the default), each row also gets the category path, the long description, the
rating histogram, the share of buyers who recommend it, package dimensions and weight, origin, the return policy and
**online and store stock**: shipping availability, quantity available to promise, delivery date, pickup and in-store
availability at the store you choose, and the aisle.

It is used for price monitoring and MAP checks, retail assortment and competitor research for brands and resellers,
UPC matching across retailers, in-store availability tracking, rating and review analysis, and product datasets for
e-commerce, market research and AI agents.

### At a glance

| What | Price |
|---|---|
| Product delivered | **US$ 3.30 per 1,000 products** (US$ 0.0033 each) |
| Run start | US$ 0.005 per run |

- 1,000 air fryers with UPC and stock = **US$ 3.31**.
- Error rows, duplicates, filtered products and products already delivered in earlier runs (`onlyNew`) are never
  charged.
- `maxItems` is a hard cap, and a spending limit set on the run stops it cleanly with everything delivered so far.
- Proxy is included. The run starts on the Apify datacenter proxy and moves to a US residential IP by itself if
  Target refuses it.

### Quick start

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["air fryer"],
  "maxItems": 50
}
```

Best sellers near a ZIP code, with store stock and aisle:

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["lego", "stanley tumbler"],
  "sortBy": "bestselling",
  "zipCode": "55403",
  "maxItems": 200
}
```

A category, a product page and a TCIN, only products on sale rated 4.5 or more:

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    "https://www.target.com/c/building-sets-toys-games/-/N-5e002",
    "https://www.target.com/p/lego-minifigures-shrek-series-mystery-box-71053/-/A-95046345",
    "95046297"
  ],
  "onSaleOnly": true,
  "minRating": 4.5,
  "maxItems": 100
}
```

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `searchQueries` | Product keywords, one per line. Each keyword is one search on target.com. |
| `startUrls` | Product links (`/p/.../-/A-95046345`), category links (`/c/.../-/N-5xtb0`), search links (`/s?searchTerm=...`) or TCINs. |
| `sortBy` | `relevance`, `Featured`, `bestselling`, `newest`, `PriceLow`, `PriceHigh`, `RatingHigh`. |
| `zipCode` | US ZIP code. The nearest Target store is used for store prices, pickup, in-store stock and aisle. |
| `storeId` | A Target store number (for example `1375`). Takes priority over the ZIP code. |
| `minPrice`, `maxPrice` | Price range in US dollars. |
| `minRating` | Only products with at least this average star rating. |
| `onSaleOnly` | Only products with a sale price below the regular price. |
| `includeDetails` | On (default): adds UPC, category path, description, histogram, package size and stock (two small requests per product). Off: search rows only. |
| `maxItems` | Cap for the whole run (default 50; 0 = no cap). |
| `onlyNew` | For schedules: delivers only products not delivered in earlier runs of the same search. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Apify datacenter proxy by default. |

`searchQuery`, `keyword`, `queries`, `urls`, `productUrls`, `tcins`, `maxResults` and `limit` are accepted too, so
inputs written for other Target tools keep working. Without a store, prices are the online prices and stock is the
online (shipping) stock.

### Output fields

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `tcin`, `dpci`, `upc` | Target item number, the department-class-item code and the UPC barcode. |
| `title`, `brand`, `url` | Product, brand and product link. |
| `price`, `regularPrice`, `priceText`, `priceType`, `currency` | Current price, regular price, the price as shown ("$59.99") and its type (`reg`, `sale`), USD. |
| `isOnSale`, `saveAmount`, `savePercent` | Sale flag and the savings in dollars and percent. |
| `rating`, `ratingCount`, `reviewCount` | Average stars, number of ratings and number of written reviews. |
| `ratingAspects` | Secondary averages by aspect (quality, value, ease of use...). |
| `ratingHistogram`, `recommendedPercent`, `questionCount` | Ratings per star, share of buyers who recommend it, number of questions. |
| `badges` | Bestseller and similar badges. |
| `itemType`, `category`, `categoryId`, `categoryPath` | Item type and the category path, for example Toys & Games > Building Toys > Building Sets. |
| `specifications`, `highlights`, `description` | Spec bullets as key/value pairs (Number of Pieces, Suggested Age, Model #, Material...), feature highlights and the long description. |
| `releaseDate` | Street date for new releases. |
| `packageDimensions`, `origin` | Package height, width, depth and weight with units, and the import designation. |
| `returnPolicy`, `freeShipping` | Return window text and free shipping flag. |
| `onlineAvailability`, `onlineQuantity`, `deliveryDate`, `soldOut`, `outOfStockInAllStores` | Online stock status, quantity available to promise and the earliest standard delivery date. |
| `stores`, `aisle` | Store stock for the chosen store (and Target's backup store): store number, name, city, state, pickup status, in-store status and quantity; aisle and block in the chosen store. |
| `image`, `images`, `videos` | Main image, alternate images and product videos. |
| `position`, `sourceQuery` | Rank in the search or category and the input that produced the row. |
| `detailsScraped` | True when product details were added. |
| `scrapedAt`, `errorCode`, `error` | Time of collection and, for error rows, what went wrong. |

No reviewer names or review texts are collected: only the aggregated ratings.

```
(Highlights, description, images and videos are shortened here; the dataset has them in full.)
### Errors
Problems become free rows with `type: "error"`, an `errorCode` and a plain message, so a run never ends empty
without telling you why:
| errorCode | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `INVALID_URL` | The link is not a target.com product, search or category link, or a TCIN. |
| `NOT_FOUND` | The product did not load (removed product, wrong link or TCIN). |
| `NO_RESULTS` | The search or category has no product. |
| `STORE_NOT_FOUND` | No Target store near the ZIP code; the run continues with online prices and stock. |
| `BLOCKED` | Target refused every attempt for a search; run it again later. |
| `INVALID_INPUT` | A field has a value the Actor cannot use (the message says which). |
### Integrations, scheduling and AI agents
- **Schedules:** run it daily or weekly from Apify Schedules. Each run is a fresh price and stock snapshot; with
  `onlyNew` on, only products not seen before are delivered (new arrivals alert).
- **Export:** download the dataset as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML, or read it from the Apify API.
- **Make, n8n, Zapier:** use the Apify integration to start the Actor and send rows to Google Sheets, Airtable, Slack
  or your database, for example a price drop alert.
- **AI agents:** the Actor works as a tool through the Apify MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client can
  search Target and check prices, UPCs and store stock on demand.
- **Webhooks:** get a call when a run finishes and pull the dataset from there.
### FAQ
**Do I need a Target account or cookies?** No. Everything comes from the public site.
**How do I get store stock?** Set `zipCode` (or `storeId`). The nearest store is used for pickup, in-store stock,
quantity and aisle. Without it you get online prices and shipping stock.
**How many products can I get?** Searches return 24 products per page and the run follows the pages to the end (up to
50 pages). Category pages go on until Target has no more products.
**Is it fast?** Very. 40 products with details and store stock took 6 seconds in our test; search rows only are about
one request per 24 products.
**Are reviews included?** The average rating, rating count, review count, aspect ratings, histogram and recommendation
share are. Individual reviews and reviewer data are not collected.
### Limitations
- US only (target.com), prices in US dollars.
- Prices can differ by store; with a store set, the store price is returned.
- Store stock covers the chosen store and the backup store Target suggests, not every store in the country.
- Product variants (sizes, colors) come as their own TCINs when Target lists them separately.
### Changelog
- **16 Oct 2026:** first version. Keyword, category, product link and TCIN input; seven sort orders; ZIP code and
  store number for store prices and stock; price, rating and sale filters; UPC, category path, histogram, package
  size and online and store stock; `onlyNew` for schedules.
