## Pricing

from $0.76 / 1,000 job delivereds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## XING Jobs Scraper: public job listings from Germany, Austria and Switzerland

XING Jobs Scraper collects **public job listings from xing.com/jobs**, the German-speaking job market's professional
network, without a XING account, cookies or a browser. Search by keyword and city (or paste XING search and job
links) and each job comes back as one clean row: title, company and its XING page, company size and industry, city,
region, postcode and country, remote / hybrid / on-site, employment type, career level, discipline, salary range,
the direct apply link, posted and expiry dates, keywords and the full job description as text and HTML.

It is used to track hiring in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), to build job boards and job alerts,
to research salaries by role and city, to find companies that are hiring for sales and recruiting outreach, and to
feed job data to AI agents and RAG pipelines.

### At a glance

| What | Price |
|---|---|
| Job delivered | **US$ 1.00 per 1,000 jobs** (US$ 0.001 each) |
| Run start | US$ 0.005 per run |

- 500 jobs with full descriptions = **US$ 0.505**.
- Error rows, duplicates, members-only jobs and jobs already delivered in an earlier run (`onlyNew`) are never
  charged. `maxItems` is a hard cap, and a spending limit set on the run stops it cleanly with everything delivered
  so far.
- Fast: 100 jobs with descriptions take about 5 seconds.

### Quick start

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["product manager"],
  "location": "Hamburg",
  "maxItems": 50
}
```

More searches in one run, newest first, only full-time jobs within 20 km:

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["UX designer", "Elektriker"],
  "location": "Wien; Zürich",
  "radius": 20,
  "employmentTypes": ["full-time"],
  "sortBy": "date",
  "maxItems": 200
}
```

Or paste links copied from the XING website:

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    "https://www.xing.com/jobs/search?keywords=Pflege&location=K%C3%B6ln&radius=20",
    "https://www.xing.com/jobs/wien-senior-produktmanager-vienna-austria-158357593"
  ]
}
```

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `searchQueries` | Job titles or keywords, one search each (English or German both work: `product manager`, `Pflegefachkraft`) |
| `location` | City or region in Germany, Austria or Switzerland (`Hamburg`, `Wien`, `Bayern`). Several: separate with `;`. Empty = the 30 largest DACH cities in turn until `maxItems` |
| `radius` | Kilometres around the location (for example 20 or 50) |
| `workplaceTypes` | `remote`, `hybrid`, `onsite`. `remote` alone searches all of XING, no location needed |
| `employmentTypes` | `full-time`, `part-time`, `self-employed`, `student`, `temporary`, `seasonal`, `volunteer` |
| `careerLevels` | `student-intern`, `entry-level`, `professional`, `manager`, `executive`, `senior-executive` |
| `sortBy` | `relevance` (default) or `date` (most recent first) |
| `startUrls` | XING search links (with every filter you set on the site) or single job links |
| `includeDescription` | Full description as text and HTML (default on) |
| `maxItems` | Hard cap for the whole run (default 50, 0 = no cap) |
| `onlyNew` | Deliver only jobs not delivered in earlier runs of the same search; made for schedules |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Apify datacenter proxy by default |

### Output

One row per job. Every field below is filled from what XING shows on the job page:

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `jobId`, `title`, `url` | `158357593`, `Senior Produktmanager (m/w/d) Vienna, Austria`, XING job link |
| `companyName`, `companyDisplayName` | Legal name on XING and the name the job shows |
| `companyXingUrl`, `companyLogoUrl` | Company page and logo on XING |
| `companySize`, `companyIndustry`, `companyCity`, `companyCountry` | `51-200 employees`, `Internet and online media`, `Wien`, `Austria` |
| `city`, `region`, `zipCode`, `street`, `countryCode`, `country` | Job location (`street` and `zipCode` when the employer gives them) |
| `cities` | Every location of a job posted in several cities |
| `workplaceType`, `isRemote` | `Remote`, `Hybrid` or `On-site` |
| `employmentType`, `careerLevel` | `Full-time`, `Professional/Experienced` |
| `discipline`, `industry` | `Product management`, `Internet and online media` |
| `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryMedian`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryPeriod` | Yearly range in EUR or CHF |
| `isSalaryEstimate` | `true` when the range is XING's salary estimate for the role, not a figure from the employer |
| `applyUrl`, `applyOnXing` | Direct link to the employer's application page (or the XING job when you apply on XING) |
| `postedAt`, `refreshedAt`, `activeUntil` | When the job went online, was last refreshed and expires |
| `language`, `keywords`, `jobCode`, `isTopJob` | Posting language, XING keywords, employer reference code, promoted job |
| `description`, `descriptionHtml` | Full job description |
| `position`, `sourceQuery`, `scrapedAt` | Rank in the search, the search or link it came from, collection time |

```
### Members-only jobs
XING shows part of its jobs only to signed-in members. Those jobs are skipped (and never charged), and the run log
says how many were skipped per search. Searches with a city or region return the most public jobs: in our tests
35% to 60% of the results of a city search were public, while a keyword with no place at all returns almost none.
That is why an empty `location` makes the Actor go through the 30 largest DACH cities one by one until `maxItems`.
### Errors you may see
Every error is a row with `errorCode` and is never charged:
| errorCode | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `INVALID_INPUT` | A field has a wrong value (the message lists the accepted ones) |
| `INVALID_URL` | Not a XING search or job link |
| `INVALID_SEARCH` | XING did not accept the filters in a pasted search link |
| `NOT_FOUND` | The job link was removed or expired |
| `MEMBERS_ONLY` | The job, or every job of the search, is visible to signed-in XING members only |
| `NO_RESULTS` | XING has no job for this search and filters |
| `BLOCKED` | XING refused every attempt; run it again in a few minutes |
### Integrations, scheduling and AI agents
- **Job alerts:** schedule the same searches daily with `onlyNew` on in
  [Apify schedules](https://docs.apify.com/platform/schedules); each run delivers (and charges) only the new jobs.
- **Export** as JSON, CSV, Excel or XML, or read the dataset from the [Apify API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2).
- **Connect** it to Make, n8n, Zapier, Slack or Google Sheets through
  [Apify integrations](https://docs.apify.com/platform/integrations).
- **AI agents:** call it as a tool through the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/platform/integrations/mcp)
  in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client, for example "find 100 remote Python jobs on XING posted this week and
  group them by salary range".
### FAQ
**Do I need a XING account?** No. The Actor collects the jobs XING shows to visitors who are not signed in.
**Which countries are covered?** Every country XING lists jobs for; most jobs are in Germany, Austria and
Switzerland. Use city or region names as XING spells them (`München` or `Munich`, `Wien` or `Vienna` both work).
**Is the salary always there?** Almost always: in our tests 28 of 30 jobs had a range. When the employer does not
publish a salary, XING shows its own estimate for the role and city, and `isSalaryEstimate` is `true`.
**Does it return recruiter names or contact details?** No. Rows hold job and company data only. Email addresses and
phone numbers inside descriptions are replaced with `[contact removed]`.
**How many jobs can one run get?** As many as XING lists publicly for your searches; add more keywords or
locations for wider coverage, and set `maxItems` to 0 for no cap.
**Is it legal?** The Actor reads public job listings only and returns no personal data. You are responsible for
how you use the data under the laws that apply to you.
**Something broke or a field is missing?** Open an issue on the Actor page; issues are answered within a day.
### Limitations
- Members-only jobs are skipped (see above).
- Applying to jobs, saved searches and company follower data are out of scope.
- Salary, dates and promoted status are the ones XING shows at the moment of the run.
### Changelog
- **21 Oct 2026:** first version: keyword and city search with radius, remote, employment type and career level
  filters, search and job links, salary range, apply link, full description, `onlyNew` for daily alerts.
# Actor input Schema
## `searchQueries` (type: `array`):
Job titles or keywords, one per line, for example product manager or Pflegefachkraft. Each keyword is one search. Leave empty when you paste links below.
## `location` (type: `string`):
City or region in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, for example Hamburg, Wien or Bayern. Several locations: separate with a semicolon (Berlin; Zürich). Empty = the largest DACH cities in turn until Max jobs is reached.
## `radius` (type: `integer`):
Search radius around the location in kilometres, for example 20 or 50. Empty = the XING default.
Order of the results, same options as the site. onlyNew switches Relevance to Most recent.
## `startUrls` (type: `array`):
Optional: search links copied from https://www.xing.com/jobs/search after setting filters on the site, or job links like https://www.xing.com/jobs/wien-senior-produktmanager-vienna-austria-158357593.
## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):
On: each row has the full job description as text and HTML. Off: smaller rows with every other field.
## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):
Hard cap for the whole run, across all searches and links. 0 = no cap.
## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):
On: remembers the jobs delivered in earlier runs of the same search (in your account) and delivers only jobs not seen before. Skipped jobs are free.
