## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Danish Store Locator (Netto, Matas)

Get a clean, up-to-date list of **Netto** and **Matas** stores in Denmark: store name, address, postal code, city, opening hours for the coming days and (for Netto) GPS coordinates. One run returns all stores of the chains you pick, as a table you can download as JSON, CSV or Excel.

The data comes from the chains' own public store finders ([netto.dk/find-butik](https://netto.dk/find-butik/) and [matas.dk/find-butik](https://www.matas.dk/find-butik)). No login, no proxy and no API key are needed. The Actor only collects business information about stores. It does not collect any personal data.

### What you can use it for

- Build a map or a store finder for your own app or website.
- Analyse store coverage by postal code or city (market research, site selection, delivery planning).
- Keep a CRM, a route planner or a spreadsheet in sync with the current store network.
- Check which stores are open when, including holiday hours.

### Chains included

| Chain | Stores (approx.) | Coordinates | Opening hours |
|---|---|---|---|
| Netto | ~580 | yes | yes, 7 days |
| Matas | ~260 | no (not published on the store finder) | yes, 7 days |

More chains may be added later. The Actor only includes chains whose terms and robots.txt allow automated access to the public store list.

### Input

| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `chains` | array | `Netto`, `Matas` or both (default: both) |
| `postalCodes` | array | Only stores in these postal codes, e.g. `["2100", "8000"]` |
| `cities` | array | Only stores in these cities, e.g. `["Aarhus C"]` (not case sensitive; "Aarhus" and "Århus" both work) |
| `latitude`, `longitude`, `radiusKm` | number | Only stores within the radius. Works for chains that publish coordinates (Netto). Matas stores are left out of such searches. |
| `includeOpeningHours` | boolean | Add opening hours for the coming days (default: true) |
| `maxResults` | integer | Maximum number of stores, 0 = no limit |

Example:

```json
{
    "chains": ["Netto", "Matas"],
    "postalCodes": ["2100", "2200", "2300"],
    "includeOpeningHours": true
}
```

### Output

Each store is one row:

```json
{
    "chain": "Netto",
    "storeId": "0e6f15e1-797f-4933-8f60-352c9a789bc5",
    "name": "Netto Rådhuspladsen",
    "address": "Vestergade 39, 1456 København K",
    "street": "Vestergade 39",
    "postalCode": "1456",
    "city": "København K",
    "country": "DK",
    "latitude": 55.6767469,
    "longitude": 12.5687791,
    "services": ["nonFood", "scanAndGo"],
    "openingHours": [
        {"date": "2026-10-26", "weekday": "Monday", "opens": "07:00", "closes": "24:00", "closed": false}
    ],
    "url": "https://netto.dk/find-butik/",
    "distanceKm": null,
    "scrapedAt": "2026-10-26T13:00:00+00:00"
}
```

Fields: `chain`, `storeId`, `name`, `address`, `street`, `postalCode`, `city`, `country`, `latitude`, `longitude`, `services` (departments and services the chain flags, e.g. bakery, flowers, petFood, scanAndGo, open247, clickAndCollect), `openingHours` (per date, local Danish time), `url`, `distanceKm` (only in location searches), `scrapedAt` (UTC).

### Good to know

- Opening hours cover the next 7 days as published by the chain, so they include holiday changes. Run the Actor again to refresh them.
- Matas does not publish coordinates in its store list, so `latitude` and `longitude` are `null` for Matas.
- If a chain changes its website so the store list cannot be read, the Actor logs a warning for that chain and still returns the other chains. If all chains fail, the run fails.
- The Actor makes one request per chain and runs in a few seconds.

### Data source and legal

Only publicly visible business information (store name, business address, opening hours, coordinates) is collected from the chains' public store finder pages. Personal data is not collected. You are responsible for using the data in line with the laws and the terms that apply to you. This Actor is not affiliated with Netto or Matas.

# Actor input Schema

## `chains` (type: `array`):

Which chains to include. Leave empty for all: Netto, Matas.

## `postalCodes` (type: `array`):

Only return stores in these Danish postal codes, e.g. 2100. Leave empty for all.

## `cities` (type: `array`):

Only return stores in these cities, e.g. Aarhus C. Matching ignores upper/lower case. Leave empty for all.

## `latitude` (type: `number`):

Optional. Center of a location search. Use together with longitude. Only chains that publish coordinates (Netto) can be searched this way; Matas stores are left out of such searches.

## `longitude` (type: `number`):

Optional. Center of a location search. Use together with latitude.

## `radiusKm` (type: `number`):

Optional. Only return stores within this distance from latitude/longitude.

## `includeOpeningHours` (type: `boolean`):

Add the opening hours for the coming days to every store.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of stores to return. 0 means no limit.
